The Vitrax is the central headquarters of the Ebonstryfe. This expansive fortress is actually a part of the Temple of the Black Sun; connected by a small yet elaborately decorated stone hallway lined with a variety of tapestries and military regalia. The entrance to this hallway from the Temple is under constant guard by Ebonstryfe soldiers. The main entrance to the Vitrax from the outside looks out on a great courtyard surrounding a large fountain. The fountain itself is highlighted by the a statue of Ebonlord Gru'tral, the supreme commander of the Ebonstryfe. The courtyard is enclosed by a twenty-foot tall wall of stone topped with iron fencing. The only way into the courtyard from the outside is either over that wall or through a set of massive iron gates flanked by fifty-foot tall watchtowers manned at all times by elite Ebonstryfe archers. There are always guards present at the gates allowing only authorized individuals to enter. Lining the interior side of the walls there are numerous buildings, barracks, stables and various military facilities for use by the Ebonstryfe. There is training going on at almost all times of the day and night where apprentices and soldiers alike hone their skills in hopes of one day advancing far enough to be gifted with the rank of Paladin. Inside the Vitrax itself, one is greeted by another towering statue of Gru'tral that dominates the main hall. A large, curving dual staircase leads to the upper levels where the Paladins claim residence. The ground level contains offices, storage, meeting rooms and some of the more advanced training facilities. The sub-levels house the prison, interrogation chambers, vaults and other, more darker, forbidden rooms accessible only by a small few individuals.
