Jaeden, even after Nel had managed to fall forward to the ground, was distracted by other things. His hand slowly reached over his shoulder, rubbing at the mark that flared along his back. A subtle frown crossed his features for a moment before fading as he slowly began turning and dipping his hand into his pocket. Shortly after Murdoch helped Nel back to her feet, Jaeden pulled out the four gold rimmed mizas from his pocket. Flicking two of them to Nel and the other two to Murdoch. “I’m actually out,” Jaeden simply said as he began walking past the pair of them shortly after. “You two have fun with what I was going to use at the games tonight.” Jaeden’s hands slowly slid into his pockets then, as he began breathing slowly, as the urges of Ranuri began to fade. It made things difficult, to say the lest, just walking along the streets of Syliras. Now, the thought of being in a crowded gambling hall seemed to be a little to much. |
