Merry Mabon!

A bit late, but here nonetheless! Autumn is such a beautiful season, don't you think? I spent Mabon relaxing, eating food from the garden in a giant salad, and reading. I was lucky to have the day off work. Now the long march to Winter begins... Strangely, this is my favourite time of the year as everything withdraws and dies off. Bleak morning skies fill me with awe. I think part of it is nostalgia as a child... as we get closer to Winter, and remember the excitement of the first snows.

I've talked about my inspiration for Zeltiva before, and it comes in the form of the city I study in. Seriously guys, walking around Bristol is weird when you spend lots of time modding Zeltiva

It's a very old Saxon city, the name originating from Brycgstow - meaning a place by the bridge. Though the Clifton Suspension Bridge is the only bridge locals and tourists now associate with Bristol, the old Bristol bridge is in fact still alive and well - just a little more discrete. If you look close enough, you can also find the old city walls (though the city has expanded way beyond them now).

The city itself has a lot of the Zeltivan flavour about it. It has its old and new. It has its old University, and also its port with an impressive history of shipwrighting and exploring. Today, though a little grey and cloudy, I took a picture of the statue that makes me smile everytime I see it. It's Laviku, right

(Actually a statue of Neptune, but the link is strong don't ya think!)
