The back alley ghost

Hello to all, :D

Although I've played D&D with my friends (been a player and a DM later on),
I see there are differences in this type of role play, I've read the starting
guides, the lists, the forum codes (never been to many forums really and I love
the uniqueness you can bring to your text with the forum code) and I've made
my character sheet, which I hope will be reviewed today and ready to use. Also
today I will devote myself to the writing rules. I saw the writing styles of
some players and there are very good writers in this forum. Hope to get tips,
help and solutions for my mistakes from many people. Also I hope I will make many
friends here that will have my support too.

Thank you everyone.

Gromath

Hi Gromath! I'm new too. Call me Tet!

I'm super happy that you look to learn, because I think ones striving to be better tend to really knock the ball out of the park.

Awesome.

The back alley ghost

Welcome to Mizahar, Gromath! I'm Verilian, DS of the city of Ravok and a former ghost player myself. I'm sure the liasons will get to your CS soon, but I figured I'd pop in and give you a few pointers to save them the trouble. Overall your CS isn't that bad, its clear you have a general understanding of things, but just to touch on a few details:

Skills:

First off, as a ghost you get 10 points as a racial bonus to the Materialization skill in addition to your starting 50 points.

As a ghost it is very hard to train skills other than the ghost skills. Usually, especially involving physical skills, you need to possess someone first using the Possession skill. Now, glancing at your skills, I would recommend changing your stealth and camouflage skills to something else. Ghosts can turn invisible and have no mass so can already move silently, making those skills useless unless your using them in a possessed body. I recommend putting more points into the ghost skills, and worrying about others later.

Gnosis:

To get a gnosis you need help desk approval. But... Ghosts aren't allowed to get gnosis.

Now, as to your equipment and stuff, the only way a ghost can physically interact with solid items is either by possessing someone, or using Soulmist Projection. Materialization is just making you look real, but does not give you mass.

So, again, I really recommend you put most of your starting points into the ghost skills. I made the mistake with the ghost I used to play of giving him a lot of non-ghost skills like you did and paid for it when I started playing because I couldn't do anything. Hope all this was helpful, and I look forward to seeing you around.

Hello, Gromath!

Welcome to Mizahar!

Verilian already pointed the mistakes you made out, so I'm not going to repeat anything.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know, and send me a PM when you have editted your character sheet so that I can take one final look at it. :)
