Description: The Docks are a busy place in the height of the summer season, simply because they offer so much to do. Be sure to ask the Harbor Master about the best ships and boats for sale or rent here, or get your sea craft registered for hours of summer sailing! Whether you’re out for commercial fishing, pleasure sailing or renting a boat for the day, this is the place you want to be. Craft regulations and weather warnings will be posted by the Harbor Master to let you know how the sea moves before you set sail. Sunrise and sunset are the busiest commercial docking times, so keep this in mind if you’re just out to rent a dingy for a few bells. There are also fishermen and women who are willing to teach you fishing, sailing, swimming, basic water safety and boat management, all for the right fee of course. If you’d just like to borrow someone to give you a pleasure tour of the bay, there are several deks ready and waiting for a few bell's work . They’ll row or sail the boat of your choice so you and a loved one can take in the scenic ocean views, Kelp Forest, Sea Shanties, Mud Flats or other special points of interest. Most activity you find is above board with everything in its place, however, there’s a black market for those who visit at night. If that’s your thing, then keep your ears open for those selling more ‘exotic’ items than the standard Inarta fare.
