Finding A Job [Closed - Kavala]

Kavala heard someone call out but looking around at the thick stone walls surrounding the compound she saw no one. It wasn't a voice she recognized though it sounded female and soft. Kavala rose up on her toes and glanced around, her soft leather boots flexing and allowing her to see several more inches than she normally would have. Ahhh the gate. Kavala spotted the visitor peering over the gate and she gave a friendly wave and headed in the visitor's direction.

Unlocking the gate, Kavala swung it wide trusting the pale woman was Konti and thus friendly. "Come in.. come in. Is there something I can help you with?" She asked, pausing to wipe her brow a bit. Kavala was sweating and actually welcomed the interruption from her work. She quickly let the Konti in and shut the gate behind her revealing the facility in a very beginning stage of being rebuilt. "I apologize for the mess. We're rebuilding after the djed storm." Kavala said, holding out her hand to greet the Konti. The inside of the facility just consisted of the big wall and the beginnings of a half built stable. Animals roamed and piles of materials lay all around. It definitely looked like an organized construction site.

"I'm Kavala Denusk, of the Denusk Pavilion, Sapphire Clan. And I'm the owner here. What can we help you with?" She asked, looking thoughtful and carefully checking the Konti out to make sure she herself wasn't injured and there were no animals with her.

Kavala smiled. "A healer? What sort of training do you have? We have lots of work for healers around here." She added, looking thoughtful. Kavala hadn't expected the other Konti to say she was a healer. Most Konti she knew where Opal Order and wore their signs and Rak'keli marks proudly. They also often came with Ivaski walking at their sides. So Ilona either wasn't trained on Mura or she was not someone who'd advanced enough to be accepted into the order.

That didn't mean a whole lot to Kavala though. She herself had trained with the Order but hadn't joined them. Animal healers had no place among them, not really, for their knowledge lay in Konti, Human and other sentient skills. It wasn't as if her profession wasn't important, but rather it just wasn't as important to the Konti as it could have been.

"We have a lot of healing work to do here with animals." Kavala said firmly. "Hows your experience with them? Do you have any specific skills such as midwifery or areas of interest such as surgery or bone healing?" She asked, curious, but not wanting to overwhelm the Konti.
