One Room Please... [Casper]

Postby Kressha on August 3rd, 2012, 1:52 am

Kressha didn't seem to mind that Casper didn't actually answer her at all, she had seen the slight shift in his facial expression to know that it was a sore subject. Then the old sailor was talking again, talking all sweet to her. Perhaps it was because of his rage and eagerness to beat on Casper that he didn't register that her speech was worse than Casper's. Then he proceeded to call all Dhani scum and monsters and Kressha opened her mouth to speak back at him but Casper was faster and the taunt he threw at the man was all he needed and the fight was on.

Letting out an eeping sound as the club in the sailors hands came for Casper's head, Kressha jumped back more toward Rahhale's side so she wasn't in the way. The first hit missed Casper and she watched as he tackled him into the wall. "Yesss!" She said, clenched fists held up to her sides as she watched the fight. Her excitement faltered a bit then as the club came down and hit Casper's side and sent him staggering. She didn't doubt that he probably had a broken rib or two now. Then the fight just continued to get worse and worse. Three beefy sailors were no match for her new friend and she could see the murderous intent in their eyes.

Quicking moving to stand before Rahhale, she reached up and grabbed at the startled mare's head and pulled it down so she was at eye level. "Rahhale needs to stay calm now, you recognize the sound of this voice, I need to help our friend." She said in a language that consisted on only hissing sounds. The sailors wouldn't understand a bit of it, but Casper, if he had enough Dhani blood in him might be able to if he were paying any attention between hits. She had worked very hard to get the mare to get used to the sound of snakes. It was rather difficult seeing as horses didn't exactly get along with reptiles all that much.

As the mare flattened her ears back and pawed her front hoof into the ground, Kressha nodded her head and turned around to look at the fighting again. Casper's fist connected with the jawline of one of the attackers but she knew even one hit wasn't going to finish things. She worked quickly at kicking her boots off then undoing her pants and pushing them off as well. As she worked on pulling the shirt up over her head, her body started to shift, her legs fusing together starting at her thighs until she didn't have two legs anymore but instead one long tail that continued to grow in length for a bit. Her upper body didn't change that much other than becoming covered in scales. Her head, didn't look human anymore, her neck had flattened out to create her hood while her face elongated a bit to form a snout. The whole process took only 30 seconds to complete.

Casper was just now calling the old sailor a coward and that got him another punch tot he cheek. Seeing the sailor pull out a knife now, Kressha flicked her tongue out to taste the air around them as she knew it had been the right choice to shift. No way she'd be able to help in her human form. These men were way too worked up to stop just because a pretty lady wanted them to.

She moved forward, body low and close to the ground as she closed the distance between her and them. Being the viper that she was, speed was her strength and it wasn't but a second or two later, she was down around the old man's feet and wrapping herself around him twice before lifting herself up to his eye level. She had moved so fast the man hadn't had time to react, and now Kressha had a hand on the blade he held. Flicking her tongue out toward his face, Kressha gave him what one could only guess was a smile on the snake like face. "You ssshould be careful about who you call monstersss." She hissed out, her entire statement now having a drawn out hiss to it, not just those that had S's in the words. It was hard speaking the common language without lips to form the words, but she managed to make it somewhat understandable.
Kressha is a Viper Dhani. She looks like a small weak human standing at 5'0" and is quite playful. Her speech is the only thing that hints really at what she is, but she is trying to learn to sound more human.

When she speaks, a double s (ss) means a [th] sound, that she cannot say.

A triple s (sss) means just an [s], but it is extended in her speech.

One Room Please... [Casper]

Postby Casper on August 3rd, 2012, 2:48 am

A grin came to the sailor's face as he pressed the blade to his cheekbone, letting the fire's light dance off the metal tauntingly. Casper clenched his teeth, readying himself best he could for the searing pain he expected, but it never came. Instead, something in the corner of his vision emerged from the stall, and before he could make anything of it the dagger was no longer pressed to his skin but in the hands of... was that Kressha? Its face vaguely resembled hers, but had undergone such a transformation that it was hard to tell. He stared her golden form up and down, his hazel eyes at first fearful, followed by an overpowering sense of wonder, and envy.

With envy came anger at the position he was currently in, then the realization that the grip on his arms was significantly looser than earlier. He looked up. Their eyes were on the beast wrapped around their leader, staring at the scene in pure horror. He couldn't miss the opportunity. With a unexpected jerk, Casper ripped his right arm free and used the momentum to swing it right into the second assailant's intestines, who responded by letting go as he stumbled back to the wall with a grunt. His eyes darted about in confusion, and before he could react Casper was on him, pressing him against the wall with his hand wrapped around his neck. He struggled in his grip, his hands clawing at Casper's arm uselessly. With a crazed grin, Casper grabbed the torch on the wall, ripped it from its socket and pressed the burning end to his face.

A deafening screech traveled through the air, and Casper held him there with the torch burning into the side of his face until he could feel the heat too strongly on his own arm, and finally let go. The deformed figure fell to the ground, clutching what was once his face with a long moan. Casper turned around, torch still in hand, only to find that the other petcher that had held him down was running towards him, flailing a short sword desperately in one hand. Casper jumped backwards before he could get hit by the panicked man.

Kressha kept her eyes on the sailor that she had wrapped in her hold. She could smell the fear building up in him as she heard the grunts and scuffling behind her. She didn't look though, figuring that since she'd made her entrance, it had allowed Casper to get the upper hand again. With her hand still covering the sailor's hand that held the knife, she make sure to keep it to the side and away from her, her slight increase in strength in this form making that possible, though if he were to start struggling it might be more difficult. Strength really wasn't her strong suit.

"Whatsss sse matter... Loossse your will to fight?" She asked, her snake shaped head tilting to the side to look at him, her slitted golden eyes never leaving his as her tongue flicked out a few more times to keep tasting the air. "Maybe you want to die, and were jussst waiting for a monssster like me to ssshow up." At that, the man's eyes went wide and he started to struggle, his arm flexing as he tried to jab the knife into her side. She managed to keep it at arms length away as she let out a loud his and now that he was fighting back, her mouth opened wide and her two long retractable fangs came out and buried themselves deep in his shoulder. The sailor let out a loud scream as the puncture wounds around the fangs started to burn as her venom was injected into his system. It wouldn't take much, she was highly toxic.

Pulling her mouth away, she let her tongue flick out again before she pulled away from him, her hand slapping the knife from his hand as his mind was lost to the pain. Uncoiling herself from around him, she raised herself up over his height and her fingers grabbed into his short nearly balding hair and pushed him downward to his knees as she shifted her eyes over to watch Casper. The scent of burnt flesh was quickly filling the area then as he started his fight with the last of the three. Her eyes caught the flash of the short sword the man was waving around and moved forward a bit more, dragging the old sailor along with her on his knees as the venom spread through is body, making his whole body feel like it were on fire. She did do nothing at first, wanting to see how the boy reacted to the fighting. As the sailor swung the sword at him and barely missed, Kressha let the dying sailors hair go and let him topple to the ground as she shot forward and stopped a few feet away and snapped her tail out toward the panicked man, the tip of her tail looping around one of his feet before she yanked it backwards and pulled the man down onto his stomach.

Lifting herself up again, she shifted her eyes to Casper and flicked her tongue out as the dying sailor behind her continued to scream. Her gaze shifted downward to the still relatively unharmed sailor before looking at the two screaming men. "They need to be silenced, else someone will hear and come find us." She said, using her native snake language as she spoke to Casper. She had no idea if he would understand though. "Do not use the blade, blood is hard to hide." Turning without waiting to see if he understood, she went back to her screaming sailor and rolled him over with the flick of her tail before covering his face with the lower half of her tail, letting its tip coil around his neck as she blocked off his air flow. He didn't have much time because of the poison, but he was being too loud for her liking.

One Room Please... [Casper]

Postby Casper on August 8th, 2012, 6:45 pm

Once Casper had made some distance from the surprise attack, he reeled his fist back to swing at him, and -- hit thin air. Having expected a collision, Casper stumbled forward and would have fell if it wasn't for sure footing. He looked up at the beast, and for a moment, felt very small, very weak. He was then overcome by confusion as she hissed at him in a language he had never heard before, though he couldn't shake the feeling of familiarity, almost a certain comfort.

As interesting as it was to dwell on emotions evoked by her strange speech, Casper didn't understand a word of it and decided it was better to preoccupy his time with the one who was trying to get back up. Without any further hesitation, Casper lunged forward and kicked the sword out of his hand, then swung the torch at his face. it collided with a blunt but loud thump to his skull, knocking him onto his back. Casper took a step forward, ready to bash his already concussed head in further, when he looked over to what the Dhani was doing.

She was strangling him, and the screeching he was pulling before had stopped. Still, the room was not completely silent, the other burnt petcher moaning without signs of stopping. Surely someone could hear the stupid sound. In a city where the law, even a prison existed, Casper was struck with a feeling of paranoia, and quickly thought to silence him. He moved over to him, smiling as he thought of all the possible deaths the piece of shyke deserved. "Sstop your petchin' crying," he said as he covered his mouth and nostrils tightly. Realizing what Casper was doing, the man started struggling, but Casper simply put a knee on his chest and swatted his flailing arms away with his free hand. It was slow, but he enjoyed seeing the thrashing quiet down, seeing the light in his burnt face leave his eyes at what felt like a snail's pace.

A few minutes had passed. He let go, and spat on the carcass that lay before him. It was not often that someone deserved their death as much as he did. When he got back up, he almost yelled when one of his ribs sent a rippling pain throughout his body, but settled with a groan through clenched teeth. It was easy to ignore when his life was at stake, but just as his mind was able to calm itself, the pain in his body and face had decided to manifest. With a grimace, he looked over to the concussed man, and decided a concussion wasn't enough. He pulled his dagger from his belt, clutching his chest in one hand, and made his way over deliberately.

One Room Please... [Casper]

Postby Kressha on August 10th, 2012, 6:02 pm

Kressha stayed over the sailor she was strangling just until she couldn't feel him any more, couldn't feel him trying to take in more breath or struggling. Uncoiling herself from over his face, she looked down at his form, the deep fang marks in his neck and shoulder were clearly seen through the ripped holes in his shirt and drips of blood had started to form but thanks to her venom, they had clotted before he bled all over the ground outside the stable. Looking over to Casper then, she watched as he held down the man, strangling him in his own way before taking a moment to look around. They were lucky that the stable was around the side of the building and that it only had four stalls, that made it not that populated and they'd been lucky not to have someone come for their mount.

She'd been reckless. She shifted without thinking of the outcome. This boy, Casper, even though she had a small thought that he was Dhani, or part, knew that she really was. She'd risked herself being seen by others if they had come to investigate the screams, then the news would spread like wild fire that there was a Dhani monster really in town. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath in as her form started to shrink, the scales almost peeling off her body in one solid chunk. She was in fact shedding her skin, leaving her human skin almost baby soft new underneath. The whole process took about 30 seconds to do, about as long as it took Casper to sap the life out of the struggling sailor under him.

Peeling off the last bits of the scaley outer skin, Kressha looked up as she watched Casper move toward the last sailor, dagger in hand and she let out a sharp hiss. "No!, I sssaid don't ussse sse blade, blood isss hard to hide." She said in a sharp whisper, realize then that he hadn't understood anything of what she'd said before. She had thought he had as he had copied her in strangling the other sailor. She pointed over to the dead lump he had just left then to the concussed man. "Do what you did to ssat one to ssisss one." She said as she stepped out of her discarded skin and bent, fully naked in the stable entrance, and carefully rolled up the old skin. She made sure the skin didn't rip and she didn't leave any stray bits behind before she quickly moved to the stable, shhhhing Rahhale as she stepped past her toward her saddle. Pulling open one of the saddle bags, she carefully stuffed the shedding into it before sealing it tight.

Moving back to her clothes, she picked them up and moved quickly back out to Casper and the bodies, eyes darting around making sure nobody was watching them before she started to redress herself. "You know sse city, right... Where can we hide ssem wissout ssem being found?" She asked as she was pulling up her pants. So much for the drinks he had been about to ask her out to, Kressha was mainly focused with now of covering up what they had done. She had no intention of going to prison.
