A lost soul [Veena]

`7th Spring 510 Av

The weather slowly was turning bad in the cool day of the city. John, a normal-ish teenage human boy, was a bit bored as he roamed the city streets. He had the day off from the shop and he knew his sister, Elaine, was busy working on sewing a few items at the house with the help of the parents. Well he saw it more as she was helping them as they knew little to nothing of sewing as did he know little to none of the needle work craft.

So he was just roaming the city looking more bored then anything. If one saw him walking they would take note of his slight limp he made on his right side but he paid that no mind anymore. Just a old wound that made him unable to really run or stand hard on it yet other then that with a normal slight limp he was fine.

However even that mood died down a bit as he made his way in the back streets of the city. The smell of rain touching along his nose as the sound of thunder could be heard overhead with a flash of light. He knew he should have been on his way home however he just wanted to roam and walk a bit more. Why? He was unsure yet maybe he would head before the clouds broke.

A lost soul [Veena]

Postby Veena on May 13th, 2010, 4:03 am

Veena was laying down on the ground infront of her box as usual. She would watch all the different people walking by hoping one of them would end up being the master whom she was still waiting for. She still didn't know that her previous master had abandoned her but she would continoue waiting for him. Soon she had noticed a small rain drop land on her nose, she hated the rain but there wasn't much that she was able to do to get away from it other than to huddle in her box.

As always Veena was in her feline form. She had on one of the special collars that wouldn't allow her to shift back into her humanoid form. She didn't know that her previous master just put it on her just so she wouldn 't be able to follow afterwards. She was also tied down to a nearby pole so she couldn't get away on her own. So far she would just accept small bits of food that random passerbuys would be kind enough to feed to her, and every once in awhile being petted. As thunder started to hit Veena gave a quick flinch, she was never one for loud noises.

As Veena was huddled inside her box she noticed something. A human walking by had caught her attention, she didn't know why but she just had to get his attention herself. Ignoring the rain Veena would quickly jump forward as far as the rope would let her and she would begin mewing towards the teenage boy. She would call out to him but is unable to considering she is stuck in this form for now, but ti didn't really matter as she is just as cozy in either forms. As the rain began to start pouring down a little harder, Veela would continoue mewing and trying to move forward towards the human.

A lost soul [Veena]

Postby John Vicari on May 13th, 2010, 4:16 am

The rain slowly started hitting harder along the ground as John glared at the sky. The flash of lightening filled the air as his leather boots hit along the hard ground. He would had just gone and left however the soft meows of a cat reached his ears as he looked down along the ground.

The cat he saw was rather on the small side of most house cats and skinny to a point of being bad in his view. A lost cat maybe or just one left to deal with the world. However even that seemed off as he saw the collar along the neck yet they were chain along a pole with a box. A prison in his view. The black cat which had stripes along the back that he saw were of a lighter shade of fur.

He just knelled down, his right hand moving in front of her nose before petting slowly along her head and rubbing behind the ears. "Why hello there. Are you lost? Or just stuck here."

His eyes moved looking in the box, it was not the type that a owner would make but toss out like trash. He felt a bit sad for the kitty cat but was unsure what to do...

A lost soul [Veena]

Postby Veena on May 13th, 2010, 4:29 am

Veena was literally almost hopping around now with joy as the human had came to her. She would then lean her head in when his hand came close and rubbed her head. A purring noise would also be coming from her the entire time. Veena knew that this is the person she was meant to be bonded to. Her old master had almost completely vanished from her mind now as she fell into the bliss of the rubbing. Right now it didn't even occur to her that she might just be seen as a normal cat but she didn't really mind as she enjoys being a cat just as much as she does a human.

It then occured to her finally though that it might turn out better if it was known what she was. Veena would then quickly run to her box and pull out an old looking brown rag from within it, carrying it in her mouth. From closer inspection it would be able to be distinguished as a dress. She would then drop the dress at the humans feet before rubbing her head and body against his leg affectionately.

Veena had never felt so much desire to please a human before. She had heard about it from her parents before they had been taken away that kelvics would bond to a certain person and those would be the destined ones to be their masters. While being lost in thought a loud thunder would then crack making Veena practicly jump. She would then huddle close to the human hoping for protection.

John was unsure of why the cat had a dress in her box and why she pulled it to him. He never dealt with a Kelvic before nor really knew the race. He just smiled softly thinking it was from her old master and not her's.

However he did not put much thought in it as the storm moved to the worse. The chain was a thin metal on a cord. Without even thinking twice he let his fingers untie the knot on the collar, leaving the collar on, as he pulled the cat in his arms with the dress. He would want it down for it was worn, dirty and torn in places but he took it anyway as he made his way home. The dress was warped around her for the most part to keep her dry from the rain.

He did not see anyone as he opened the door to his home but he did not even look around as he closed the door once in his plain room. Just a bed, chest, table and such laid around the room with candles for light. He placed the cat on his bed as he started to light the candles letting them bath the room giving more then enough light for any human to see well.

"So Kitty cat...I wonder what your name is..."

He said as he looked towards the fur-ball petting her once more along her head.

Veena was filled with joy as the the cord that tied her up was undone. As she would be pulled into the man's arms she would curl up and let out a soft continoues purring. It didn't seem like the guy was getting the picture but Veena didn't really care at the moment as she was just happy to be getting a new master. Nothing pleased a Kelvic more than to be with their master and making them happy. As her new master was walking away she would take one last glimpse at the box she had been living in, remembering her old master one last time before snuggling her head into her new masters chest.

As they entered the masters house Veena would immediately begin looking around curiously at everything around the house. She was exscpecially happy when she was put on the bed. It had been so long since she had been inside a cozy home and she was loving the softness of the bed as she rolled around happily on it. She looked around nervously for a second though as the candles were lit. She was never really the biggest fan of fire but soon got over it and focused on her new master again.

Soon she was asked about her name. She made a meow forgetting that she wouldn't be able to tell him in this form. She then looked towards the dress and got an idea. Veena would then crawl into the dress laying beside her and pop her head out of the neckhole trying to give a sign, which really probably wouldn't be that effective. She would then look up at her new master waiting for a response.

A soft giggle left his red lips as he saw the cat make meowing sounds then moved in the dress. He thought of it like a game that her old master made her learn. He just patted her on her head as he picked her up once more. The warmth of her body felt nice in his arms as he nuzzled the side of her face. He was so clueless at times.

He placed her back on the ground this time as he took the dress in hand. "Stay fuzzball. I will be back." He said firmly letting it known it was a order to a pet. Without another thought he left the room with the dress in hand letting the door shut behind him.

The room was bare, white stone walls with no windows. The floor was a wood type with a red tint almost. The bed was a single person sleeping size, not the roughest or the softest but it was better then the hard ground. A wood dull chest laid on the end of the bed which was closed yet had no lock. All in all a bedroom that was more or less just for one on a low income yet was still home in more ways then one.

Not that much time had passed before the door opened once more before closing again behind John. In his hands was a small bowl of milk with scarps of meat in another bowl. "Here you go fuzzy." He said as he placed the two bowls on the floor for her to eat.

He had thrown the old dress out of the castle letting it already fall into another hands for it was in his view old and useless to him and a cat. "So...you need a name...." He said as he took a seat on the bed before laying along it looking at the young cat.

A lost soul [Veena]

Postby Veena on May 13th, 2010, 5:45 am

Veena was slightly dissapointed but pleased that she made her master left. Her plan didn't work but it made her happy to be able to make him happy anyways. More purring would then escape her as she was held again. She would then nuzzle her face to him as her natural instinct to cuddle up to her master would kick in. She was slightly dissapointed again when she was put back down on the ground again. When she would be called fuzzball that then clicked in as what she would be called and is what she thought her new name might be.

Veena would then sit there quietly being able to obey orders far easier than any other pet like most kelvics do. She watched as the dress was carried away by her master, she wondered what he was going to do with it. While he was gone she would look around the room while sitting in the same spot she was placed in. The chest caught her eye first and she wondered what layed inside of it.

As soon as the door was opened again Veena's attention went straight to it as her head looked straight towards it. Her ears would then perk up as she noticed the smell of milk and meat and looked at the bowl. Her stomach was growling as she was still not fed properly for the time she was alone in the box. As soon as the two bowls were placed on the floor she jetted over to them and began to nibble the meat and lick the milk. In just about a minute all of it was soon devoured. When Veela heard her master mentioning a name she simply turned towards him and let out a soft mew before scratching at her collar.

He just let her eat in peace but was taken back by the speed she did eat. It meant she was more then just in the mood for food but he just patted the side of the bed for her to jump up by him.

If she did he would just hold her in his arms running his fingers down the spine. If not then he would pout a bit but shrug it off for her being a cat. Yet if she did not come he would go to her but one way or the other he would be petting her.

His fingers moved towards her collar letting the finger tips play along it. It was made out of leather with cloth around the ends for it not to rub the skin wrong however a cheaply made collar in his view. "Might remove this and buy a new one for you. Yet do you want a new one I wonder?"

He let his voice trail off as smiled upon his new pet. So clueless to what she really was and could be.

A lost soul [Veena]

Postby Veena on May 13th, 2010, 12:01 pm

Veena was very pleased when she had a full stomach again. She hadn't felt that feeling in a pretty long time. Her ears perked up though when she heard a patting noise behind her. She was easily able to tell that her master was wanting her to come to him. Some cats might not answer to this but Veela knew to come to any command given by a master. She was very pleased she jumped up to the bed as the was immediately in the arms of her master and being rubbed down her spine.

To her it seemed like he was really good at pleasing a cat. She was just at home as being a cat as she was a human so she really didn't mind all of this at all. She would notice immediately once he had started playing around with her collar. Maybe if she was lucky he would remove it and she would be able to show him what she really was. Once this question was asked of her she quickly made a happy mew noise and rubbed her head into her master's hand happily.

She did like being in her feline form but she did miss the times being in human form. Not to mention she was able to help out a lot more in her other form since her cat form was just good for comforting people and cuddling. Veena would wait in anticipation and stare up at her master waiting to see what he would do next.
