Completed [Windmount Stables] A day at the Stables

[Crypt]

“Good job, Hisoka! Yep, that's how you should approach any horse. It's easy now since Aewin, as Serena mentioned, is quite a friendly horse. Others will be harder.” Crypt smiled at Hisoka, arms crossed. It was wonderful to see her getting over her past. She looked like she was enjoying this immensely. One of the many benefits with interacting with animals, such as this fine horse. They'll cheer you right up - What did Hisoka call me? “Wait, hold on, I'm not your master!”

[Hisoka]

Hisoka tilted her head, confused.

"But Master is Master...?"

She began absently rubbing Aewin's muzzle when she butted her shoulder.

[Crypt]

“What? No, no, no. I'm not your master. I helped you when you were hungry and had no place to stay in, but that doesn't mean that I'm your master. I'm your friend, not your master.” Crypt fingered part of Aewin's mane as he explained to Hisoka.

[Hisoka]

Packmate...?, eyes glazed over in thought, rubbing Aewin's muzzle and neck in circular motions.
Considering this for a few moments, she finally looked at him.

".....Packmates...? ....Friends...? "

[Crypt]

“Yes, yes! Friends! We're not that close yet, considering that we've only met each other about five days ago. Anyway, let's focus on our task first. The knots and the saddle appear to be alright on her. I won't be teaching you how to tie them now, just how to ride a horse. Here, I'll give you a boost up.” Crypt placed his arms around Hisoka and helped her onto Aewin, then gave the horse another sugar cube to occupy herself with while he taught Hisoka. “Right. Now, these are the reins. You'll be using them to direct Aewin here. Don't pull too tight, or you'll hurt her. Now, have a trial. Make sure you're comfortable in the saddle, and have your feet in the stirrups. Ready? I'll ask Aewin to walk slowly, so you can get used to balancing yourself. Grasp the reins if you're still unsure.” Crypt started to lead Aewin slowly around, checking every now and then if Hisoka was alright.

[Hisoka]

Hisoka was initially startled when she was boosted into the saddle, and gripped
the reins tightly, bouncing in the saddle. However, she soon relaxed and eased her
posture, and felt at home.
She leaned forward and whispered to Aewin, "Walk beside Mas- ... friend..?"
Seemingly, Aewin understood her, and moved to match pace with Crypt.
As they came into place beside him, she laughed and smiled.
"This is fun!"

[Crypt]

Crypt slowed down slightly every time she looked as if she was swaying too much. Grasping Aewin by her bridle, he led the duo around the Stables for a few minutes until he was certain that Hisoka would be able to remain seated, barring any trouble. “Alright, let's see how well you can control her with the reins. Aewin will be easy for you. Pull the reins to the direction you want her to go to, but don't pull too hard or you'll be hurting her. I'll be accompanying you on Maras, but I won't be using any reins, since I don't need to.” Crypt leapt onto Maras' back gracefully, and the Strider started to move off. “Hisoka, nudge Aewin gently with your feet to get her moving. Try to get her to follow Maras and I.”

[Hisoka]

Hisoka gently nudged Aewin into a slow trot, pulling only faintly on the reins
whenever the mare veered to the side, and occasionally running her fingers
through Aewin's mane.
After about twenty minutes, Hisoka began to tire of simple trotting behind Crypt
& Maras. With a playful smile flitting across her lips, Hisoka, again, whispered in
Aewin's ear, the mare's ears swiveling to listen.

"This is boring... they chase?"

Aewin whinnied softly, almost as if in agreement, and slowly at first, but steadily
began to move faster and faster, eventually passing Crypt.

[Crypt]

It was quite relaxing, just riding on Maras, accompanied by Hisoka on Aewin. They made quite the pair. At least she wasn't being stupid or anything, trying to - Petch. I should've known, what with her being a Kelvic and all. “Wait! Stop! Don't go too fast, you'll disturb the other horses! There'll be enough time for it in the future, so come back here! Now!” Crypt and Maras accelerated and caught up with the runaway pair - an easy task, considering that Maras was in the prime of his youth and that Aewin was old -. Crypt, knowing very well that to stop a horse mid-gallop would be dangerous, held onto Aerin's saddle. Maras slowly decelerated, forcing Hisoka to slow down with them. Crypt then turned both of them, and escorted them back to Aewin's box stall.

[Hisoka]

Hisoka sighed, an patted Aewin, who had now become nervous from being halted.
When they arrived, Hisoka swung her leg over to Aewin's left side, and proceeded
to allow herself to drop out of the saddle.
Picking at the knots, she began to unsaddle Aewin, avoiding Crypt's eyes, who,
from the emotions emanating in his body language, was preparing to giver quite a
scolding.
