Ethaefal's gender

this is probably a stupid question but if an Ethaefal had only past lives where they were one gender say they were only akalak's and male jemoura but were made into a female when they became an Ethaefal would their mortal form be male or vice versa. I know this is an unlikely or maybe even imposable scenario I just though it would be cool to have a character who switches gender.

In the case of gender, the gender chosen for you as an Ethaefal is the one you're meant to have by either Syna or Leth. So if your previous life was an opposing gender, it would then revert to the life before or however many after until it reflects the gender you're currently meant to have.

They revert to how they appeared in the last mortal life that aligned with their Ethaefalen gender. If a female Ethaefal was a male Human in her latest life but a female Jamoura in the life before, she will revert to Jamoura. In Laszlo's case, his most recent life (one dedicated to Syna) was a human female. Because Syna chose him to be male, he reverted to his most recent male life, a Symnestra (ironically with more appreciation for Leth than Syna). If your PC lived only male past lives (and we're talking LOTS of lives, not one or two) then there'd be no female lives to pick from, so the Ethaefal would have to be male. Since we're talking more dozens, maybe hundreds or even thousands of lives, you were probably female at least once.

I figured this would be the case but wanted to see if it were possible. guess I'll just make a straight up male.
