Keep receiving notifications by e-mail

I can't find the option to disable...

In board preferences -> Edit posting default:
- Notify me upon replies by default: is Disabled
In board preferences -> Edit global settings:
- Users can contact me by e-mail: is Disabled
- Administrators can e-mail me information: is Disabled
- Notify me on new private messages: is Disabled
- Pop up window on new private message: is Disabled

Aaand that's all the somewhat-related options I found. I'm starting to considerate changing my e-mail to an old one that I'm not using anymore, if I can't solve this :<

Should I use the Bookmarks instead?

I had no idea what the difference was, so I just seperated my 'followed threads' in those two categories

Besides, the subscribed threads are useful 'cause there's a link in the menu just for it, while the bookmarks are hidden in the User Control Panel ^^'

When you subscribe your asking the game to send you notification by email when the thread gets posted too. Unsubscribing will solve this.
