A half-collapsed city of alabaster and gold fiercely governed by Eypharians. Even partially ruined, it is the crown of the desert and a worthy testament to old glories and rising powers.

67th of Winter, 512AV

The Amphitheater of the North Winds was supposed to be closed on this day and Singh wanted to escape her sister for a while. Esha had constantly been bothering her about her wedding. Singh was still emotional over her run in with her ex-step-parents and didn't need her emotional sister to add to it.

Bitterly Singh walked through the rose of seats until she reached the stage. Looking upon it fondly Singh let her fingers glide over it slowly. A small smile hid beneath her steal structure as her fingers felt the soft material.

Finally reaching the steps Singh slowly climbed them. She was lost in visions of her wedding dance and how happy she was. As she reached the top of the stage Singh set up for a dance, the last one she ever did.

Slowly humming to herself the tune of the music that was playing within her mind, she twirled and slowly relived the best night of her life. Singh continued to dance and slowly came to close her eye's as she went on. Lost in memory but still living her nightmare.

We Do More Than Dance On Our Toes. (Corneliun)

Corneliun stared upon the Amphitheatre, his golden eyes staring out taking in all but not truly focusing. He had been here several times when he was a boy, to view the show whilst placed upon his father’s shoulders. He remembered it well, the noise and song that filled the air, the hum of music that met his ears. It was only down to chance that had wandered into the Ampitheatre dipping between the chairs and pillars that skirted the outside. For a moment he thought he was alone, or at least until the corner of his vision spotted another.

He dipped out of sight, hidden in the edge as he brought himself to a peer around. For a moment he squinted out into the light, watching the shadow that had placed itself upon the open stage, lost in her own thought. There Singh stood, or more over she was there, lost in a dream as she slowly danced about. He doubted that he saw her, but for a while he simply watched. It was unusual for him to see her in a state of what seemed bliss, and it was this that drew him out of his hiding spot. Gentle steps lead him forth, but he did not speak, instead he simply let the Eypharian be absorbed into her world until she chose to awaken.

Singh continued to dance, unaware of the watchful eyes. But it was when her memory shifted to the moment she found out she was pregnant that she slowly stopped dancing.

Singh was faced the side stairs when she slowly opened her eyes. She felt calm and happy. A strange weight pulled at her mouth and Singh lifted her fingers to slowly press against her smiling lips. Singh was smiling. Her eye's widened but she couldn't bring herself to let the smile go.

Singh slowly walked to the edge of the stage and sat down. Her eye's played along the rows of seats and hedge... Singh eye's had gone over the shape and her head had drifted a little bit but she couldn't help but snapped it back. The smile slowly losing it's shape as her eye's found the shape of a man. A familiar man.

'Corneliun.' She thought to herself. That was the man's name and why he seemed so familiar. A slight heat surrounded her neck but she ignored it.

We Do More Than Dance On Our Toes. (Corneliun)

For a moment Corneliun froze, his eyes widening as a dumfound expression filled his face. He was in obvious sight now, and with Singh sitting there with her fading smile. The mixed blood swallowed and raised his hands to the air, a sign almost of surrender that he had been caught. He shuffled out of the seats into clearer view, before giving a shrug. His shoulders rolled back, and he straightened, a firm smirk forming on his face.
“Don’t mind me!” he flashed a grin “Carry on, I’ll uh…”
I’ll what? Go? Stay?
“I’ll… I’ll stuff,” He gave a frown, before realising what he had said “I mean, go and uh…”

The fool came out to entertain, to present to the single person in his audience. It would not be too difficult for him, after all the pair had run into each other on several occasions now, and he was beginning to learn her habits. She was the quieter one of the two, most of the time that was and generally she wore a frown. But on this occasion it was different, and for a moment he thought that her dream was shattered by his presence.
“Sorry if I disturbed you.”

Singh watched as the man came more into view and held up his hands in a from of surrender. Singh nodded her head and watched him with calculating eyes. The smile by now was small and Singh was still a little winded from dancing but it wasn't too noticeable.

As Corneliun tried to play it off cool with a shoulder roll and a smirk Singh rolled her eyes and let a playful smirk appear on her face. As he proceeded to try and form what he'd do Singh couldn't help but let out a small single laugh as he decided he'd do 'stuff.' And another laugh soon followed as he continued to stutter and go blank.

Singh couldn't help but try and ignore the pleased feeling she got from smiling nor Corneliuns' acts. Singh couldn't see his eye's clearly as the man was too far away but she could see he was dealing with a small predicament. “Sorry if I disturbed you.” Singh simply shrugged.

Singh crossed her legs at her ankles and leaned back on all four arms.
"Which twin am I?" Singh wanted to play with the man, see if he could tell the two apart. Yes there was small tells like their tattoo's, personality's, and their make-up but people could rarely remember that Singh's tattoo was on her left side and her make-up was usually the lighter lips and heavy eyes.

Singh broadened her smile as she swung her feet back and forth. While the Twins didn't do it often, then would trade place's to save the other or possibly get the other one in trouble. It just depended on who was in what mood.

We Do More Than Dance On Our Toes. (Corneliun)

Corneliun watched from a distance, before slowly approaching his hands lowering to his pockets. She had indeed caught him off guard, and perhaps for the better for it allowed a more natural side of him to show. He inhaled, composing himself and letting an element of calm take control. He had nothing to fear, or at least until a question was thrown to him. He paused, his head tilting, the distance close enough now so that the expressions were clear and that the base form of colour could be determined- though barely. He gave a sigh, his hand stroking at his stubble as he thought carefully.

His golden eyes snapped about her, tracing and analysing her form; from the way she held herself to trying to pick out the small subties. His mind raced through scenes where he had seen the two together, picking out the differences, Singh was reserved whilst Esha was forward, one had a tattoo on one wrist whilst the other a reflection. He gave a lean forward, a mental image of the pair of them side by side, their faces lined up.
“This is a cruel game,” he shot a glance as he stepped around to her side.
His eyes narrowed as he slowly focused his memory, a small lean in to get a closer look.

Remember. Remember. She’ll get mad if you don’t, he pulled away and moved to the other side, his expression full of thought Can’t go by clothing, they looked too similar. But it’s the face and the tattoo. I think Esha had a lot darker colours on her face, whilst Singh had lighter colours. And…It was perhaps at that moment that his eyes drifted down to her neck, growing sharp and bright before snapping away, Esha had a scar on her neck, I think. But there’s something else, Singh has a tattoo on the left. I’m sure of it.
The Mixed Blood pulled away and gave a small incline of his head, a smile on his lips.
“Good day Singh Re Naphu,” his eyes burned certain on the answer “You seem in a good mood today.”

Singh's eye's watched Corneliun as he came closer. She was glad he wouldn't make full eye contact or else the jib would be up. While Singh could be playful, her eye's never really let go of the cold.

Singh continued to swing her legs as she was observed and observed Corneliun. His eye's scrutinized Singh everywhere. Her shoulders, legs, arms, face, and her standing. When he leaned forward, Singh's heart sped up a beat and she watched as his eye's looked at her but didn't look at her. “This is a cruel game,” Singh simply gave a small laugh.

When he leaned in just a touch more Singh was sure she was starting to blush. But he pulled away and moved, Singh letting out a small breath she didn't know she had been holding. But then he had to look at her neck, and god speed did his eye's change a touch.

Singh cursed herself for acting so foolish, 'Singh, stop it. You are not a child anymore. Besides your emotions are probably just from seeing Esha with her soon-to-be husband.' But Singh wasn't so sure that was exactly the truth.

Singh was brought out of her thoughts when the man pulled away. He inclined his head with a smile before saying who she was. Singh watched his eye's as he commented on her mood. Singh wanted to grumble under her breath about people just guessing but his eye's said other wise.

"So the man can play. And play well." Singh gave a slight incline of her own head before tilting it to the side, feeling much like a cat, "What bring's the man this day?"

We Do More Than Dance On Our Toes. (Corneliun)

The woman gave him a cat like stare, as if he was simply a mouse to the playful creature, a toy perhaps to be played with until she became bored of it. And that was no doubt all he was to her, a simple tool to pass time. Or at least that is what the Mixed Blood told himself, and so that was what he became.
“What can I say? I enjoy entertaining,” he gave a very large sweeping bow at that point, his movement exaggerated as he let forth his other side. The roguish nature was unnecessary at the time, and nothing would be gained from it. He flashed a grin, before straightening himself out “This man is here no doubt for the same reason as the Eypharian is. A momentary escape from reality and the allowing of the mind to reminisce over far off times. Though knowing me, I am wrong and the Mighty Singh Re Naphu has different reasons.”

Corneliun quietly stepped round to her side once more and a small distance away he eased himself up onto the stage side. There he simply stared out to where the audience sat, his eyes looking at the different features of that were presented to him. It was a different way to view the world from the top of a stage where all eyes lay upon you, watching your every move with glee and anticipation. He gave a frown, his eyes squinting to the other end of the amphitheatre. His mind was still trying to take in the view from a different angle and trying to understand what the people who dared take to the stage felt.
“I can’t understand how the performers could take it from up here,” he mused “Must be nerve wracking having hundreds of eyes upon you all at once.”

Singh rolled her eyes at his implication that he simply liked to entertain. Singh let her head roll back on her shoulders and stared at the bright blue sky.

When he began to talk again Singh raised her head so he was in sight and shrugged her shoulders,
" Knowing you. You are playing the fool when the 'Almighty Singh Re Naphu' is waiting for the man." Singh clasped two of her hands in her lap and raised up a little more, "But you are correct. The Eypharian is here for an escape from reality and allowing my mind to drift to calmer times."

Singh watched as he stepped around her and then sat next to her on the stage. He was silent as he stared out into the seats so Singh laid back on all her arms before letting her head fall back and closed her eyes. Collecting the sun's warmth. They stayed quiet and calm in each other's company for a while and Singh had started to drift to sleep when he began to talk again.

Singh peaked open the eye closest to him as he talked. Singh closed her eye and thought over his words. It would most likely be nerve racking the first few times but after a while it would probably get better.

"You know. They might think the same about sword play. It being so nerve racking to have a sharp dangerous weapon pointed at them with the means of harm." Singh's voice was quiet and a little on the sleepy side but she could care less. She was tired over all the events, nervous for the ones to come, and finally was given a chance for peace.

Not that Corneliun was disrupting it. She actually liked someone to talk to that wasn't family and wasn't all knowing to her past. Times had calmed down slowly and now Singh's tragic past wasn't so much the talk. People barley even remembered now. 'And it was for the better,' Singh thought to herself.

We Do More Than Dance On Our Toes. (Corneliun)

Corneliun said nothing; he knew already the risks of sword play and fighting, and how living by the nature of the sword was a dangerous one. But then it was the only world he really knew and the only one he could focus himself on. He watched Singh recline back for a few chimes, noting that her voice was both quieter and calmer than the norm. For a moment he mulled over her words, before finally speaking.
“But surely having a blade pointed at your throat is frightening for anyone, even for actors and the brave,” he seemed to frown when he said this “Unless of course they are controlled by instinct and adrenal. Then they are simply…”

He drifted off, silencing his words before they continued into a darker territory. He snapped the thought shut, before stretching out. He gave a quick glance, noting her relaxed features the flicker of tiredness in her face. For a moment he simply stared, studying the features his mind listing the before turning away.
“Tired Miss Re Naphu?” he spoke calmly, his voice turning almost smooth “You been having late nights?”
Not that he could really comment, he was often up late into the night dragging his mind and body around town, an escape from the madness that gripped onto him. Four walls with only his breathing as company were suffocating to him. Which is why nowhere days he was drawn to open spaces, the Amphitheatre being one of them.
“If you’re tired, I can guide you back if you wish,” he straightened himself and placed his hands on his knees “It is no hardship for me.”
