Known as the Celestial Seat, Nyka is a religious city in Northern Sylira. Ruled by four demigods and traversed by a large crevice, the monk-city is both mystical and dangerous. [Lore]

Xi was now a little on the defensive, and the comment made about ana had sparked a flicker of anger within him again. His hand slowly clenched at his side, ana was a friend of his and one of the few he's actually taken the time to get to know instead of mitigating his next words he completely brushed off the statement about not mentioning little sisters before almost growling out in a very harsh and demanding tone. "You touch ana...And what your feeling right now will be the least of your issues. I promise you, if she's hurt...and i find out it's you...It'll be a thousand times worse for you. " Xi knew that with the fact she couldn't really move right now, that this point would hopefully stick. This was him under a mild anger...if Ana was hurt, well he wouldn't exactly be so calm next time. He'd unleash the flood gates and let his true strength free. And then couple that with his flux. Anyone who harmed a friend of his faced the same retribution. The form of a clenched hand at his side and the shift in his demeanour from the slumped person feeling sorry for himself shifted, into a man with that glint and glow of seriousness in his eyes, that almost seemed to illuminate them from theri dull dark black-blue to almost a neon-navy blue.
Though her statments next settled him back down and he saw the humor in her at a point. More sharp words but with a less edgy tone. "So i was right...Jeez zand is really starting to rub off on me...Perhaps a little too much for my liking. Next thing i know i'll be sneaking about and skulking in the dark like her too. Still it's good to know that if zand needs it she's got someone there whose willing to help her out if i'm not there. And i'll hold you too that revy. If any one of my friends gets hurt, and i find out you weren't there to help them or you caused it...Expect retribution. On a grand scale. " A healthy amount of distrust often helped a more fruitful friendship blossom. Xi didn't trust zand with information, and he really didn't trust ana as far as shiny things were involved. But that meant he could get to know them better, because he knew what not to trust them with. Revy...Was an unforeseen event. And because of that she was a curiosity. |

The human woman did feel a shiver down her spine as the man replied rather..... threatening. She knew that if he went all out, her body wouldn't hold out. Yet she didn't show any fear. Showing fear equaled being weak and that was something she hated. "Ok ok, I won't hurt her then. Just tell this 'friend' of yours that she shouldn't try to get Zand.", she tried to shrug it off.
His next words almost brought out a smile on Revy's face, but the last bit made sure it didn't surface. He expected her to 'protect' this friend of his unconditionally? What was worse was that he would blame her whenever that 'friend' would get hurt. "Oi..... are you saying that I should stick to that..... girl the whole day to friggin protect her? You outta your mind? I aint gonna do that. If she's somehow in danger, I'll see what I can do, but no promises... After all, no contract, no certainty.", she replied.
Revy lived by the contract and would probably die by one as well. She doesn't usually take action for others if she wasn't under contract. She hated troubling herself for others if she wasn't going to get payed for it. However, when she was under contract, she'd go to any length to fulfill it..... if the pay was proportional. If they payed not nearly enough for the danger level, she'd bail. Luckily for her contractors, this hadn't happened just yet. This was mainly because she avoids djedd-places like the plague. |
