Leila listened to the man's foreign words in his song, and actually found them to be enjoyable. She'd have to show him that she had just been overly upset at life, and not at him directly. But how? She saw several of her customers were finishing their drinks, so she grabbed a tray and filled up seven flagons with honey mead. She lifted the tray onto a single hand, and made her way around the bar. She first went over to the table where three drunk men were weeping. She set them down three flagons, carefully maintaining the balance of her tray, then taking the empties. She knew the men, they were regulars and they would drink until they dropped. They handed her the coin for them, with some pretty generous tips, likely due to their drunkenness. She then continued making her way around, swapping out empties for fulls, collecting coins, and at the very end, a man right in front of where Cirrus was playing, swatted away a hand that was trying to take a liberty upon her rump. As she passed in front of Cirrus, she dropped two gold Mizas in front of him and left him with a wink. She hoped he'd return to the bar so she could apologize properly. She made her way back around and dunked the flagons into the cleaning water. She wiped them off as she heard his next song play, continuing to watch the room for her customers' needs. |
