~ Character's History ~
Rozen Malphor grew up with a family who lived on a farm. However, his family isn’t his biological family. When he was a small infant, he was abandoned, left on a field where his family found him. They were reaping the day’s harvest until they heard the cries of a baby. When they found him, he was wrapped in an old velvet cloak with a rose gold brooch of a rose holding it together. There was no message of any sort about why he was abandoned. The kind family took him in and raised him as one of their own, he grew up quite well with the family.
When they took Rose in, his cries slowly stopped. They were unsure if they infant had a name. So they searched the cloak and the gold brooch. The cloak had no signs of names or any sort of information, on the other hand the brooch hand something engraved on the back. Engraved on the back was, what they assumed, is his family name. “The Malphor Family” was the only engraving they could find on the brooch. They named him Rozen, creatively named after the rose-gold rose on the brooch he was found with.
His foster family consisted of four people, besides himself. He had a Father, Mother, Older brother and a younger sister. Philip Hearthbon was his father, and he owned the small patch of land from where he was found. He was a farmer and a good one too, almost every harvest he reaped was successful. Sue Hearthbon was his mother. She worked with the loom and sewed clothing. After Rose was found and was taken in, she mended the cloak he was wrapped in. Her skills not only mended then cloak, but made it look almost brand new. His younger sister, Alice Hearthbon, enjoyed cooking, so she was assigned with cooking duties. Despite her young age she was an excellent cook, creating food that would taste perfect to a critic. Then there was Karick Hearthbon, his older brother, his role model, his goal. Karick was a great hunter. He’d track, capture and kill a prey with ease, making sure that the family always had fresh meat on their table.
However, Rose didn’t have a purpose. He felt guilty because he was abusing their hospitality, and kindness. He didn’t possess any sort of skill that could help the family in anyway, but he does have an odd ability. When he was young, he could faintly see or sense “entities”. There wasn’t many, but they were there. The first time he saw one, he was frightened. He screamed and caused disruption in the household. His foster family assumed he was just a child with a hyperactive imagination.
After many years of events and family moments, Rozen left the Hearthbon family at age 16. He felt both sad and happy about this decision. He believed he was doing the family a favour relieving their watch over him. However he also felt like he lost something very dear to him. Rozen hopes to find someone who is blood related to him and try to find out why he was abandoned. |
