Mini rant time!

My name is Cheslyn, and I am a photographer. I know! I know... before all of you start to compile preconceived notions, I have a rant to go on, then you can weigh in.

Unlike most teenage girls who have "photography" as an interest on facebook, I don't just take pictures with my iPhone, add a cool filter, then call it photography. I own a Canon Rebel T-3 with a circular polarization filter. Most girls would not be able to tell you the pros and cons of either Nikon and Canon, I have an entire rant on that subject as well. Most girls would not be able to tell you what polarization is... But! I can. I actually know technique, lighting, position, and the post-production process. I have a facebook page, a business card, and a small but growing clientele list. Oohhh, yeah... I know, this totally has you convinced.

One way or another, this is my passion, my life. It is something I wish to engage in for the rest of my life. I'm still new, still growing, still learning. I just needed to get this out. I'm tired of no one taking me seriously because of my youth. Blah blah blah, teen angst. xD Anyway, perhaps you want to see for yourself?
