Magic requires the presence of Djed, the essence of all things, to power its reactions. Currently the only way to gain Djed is by eating. But what if there were a way to steal Djed from another person?
I'm thinking a type of magic which would allow you to take Djed from others in exchange for some drawbacks, such as causing deformities or mental damage.
