Leila's Herb Compendium and Bounty System

Leila will be paying for an herbs that are brought into her shop by outsiders following a few rules/guidelines. Keep in mind that none of this information is available IC unless you speak to Leila directly.

-All herbs must come in a set of two plants of the same type.
-They must still be alive and transplantable, be they in a pot or soil clump or intact roots.
-Research receives extra payment, but must be extensive enough to warrant it.
-Leila will not accept plants that she already has in the Compendium unless special circumstances arrive in thread.

Nestled in the low foothills that precede the mountains, on the west side of Zeltiva, sits a new shop, opened in the Summer of 513 AV. The front of the shop is adorned by many small trees, flowering bushes, and other such adornments that accent the walls in a manner befitting the atmosphere of the herbalism shop. It is a single story, with two other buildings connecting to the side of it, making a small entryway and courtyard feel. The wood has yet to be weathered by the salty air, maintaining its new look, with the exception of the sign above its door, made from a plank of a retired ship.

Stepping through the doorway, one would find themselves in a small hallway, adorned with small, shade loving plants in clay pots. They would be presented three doorways, with the center doorway having a sign very much akin to the one out front. The other two are nearly always locked, as one leads into the shop owner's home, and the other into the shop's herbalism laboratory. Passing through the center door, one would immediately see the counters that the shopkeeper works behind, usually adorned with fragrant potted plants and hanging vines. Lining the walls are shelves with pouches of dried herbs of varying values, marked by small signs, as well as pouches of seeds, and vials of salves, potions, and antidotes. The entire room is very organic, plants lining every available nook and cranny without impeding traffic or overwhelming those who prefer indoors to out.

If one is lucky enough to be allowed into the Herbalism Laboratory, they would find a bookshelf on one wall, several tables lined with tools and plants, and in the center plants growing beneath the light coming through the ceiling window. It's often a little more crowded than the shop, as plants are trimmed down or harvested within here, and is designed for a single person to maintain. This room maintains the largest amount of Syna's warmth compared to the rest. The shop owner insisted upon keeping a dirt floor to maintain a healthier environment for her plants.

On the opposite side of the shop is the keeper's home, a fairly simple cottage with a fireplace, bed, dresser, table, and a couple of chairs. It is usually fairly tidy, seeming to be more of a place to refuel one's energy rather than being one's sanctuary. However, there is a door that leads to the area behind the shop. Stepping through it, you'd find roughly an acre of gently sloping hills, and several plots of earth bearing herbs, vegetables, flowers, and plants of all sorts. The entire property is lined by a wooden fence to keep out all but the most determined animals, as well as to provide a place for the shopkeeper's dog to roam around. A large majority of the land is currently unused, leaving room for expansion.
