eHi there! I'm Magpie, AS of Riverfall. I noticed some parts in your character sheet that don't quite fit with the lore of Mizahar. You'll have to correct them before you can receive any grades for your PC, and it would be much appreciated if you would stop posting in any threads until the below issues have been addressed. If you have any questions or concerns about anything I mention below, please don't hesitate to message me and we can work it out.
On an overall note, and nothing personal, but your character concept is inherently flawed. Don't aim to be the "Batman of Mizahar", aim for a well rounded character with his own motivations that people will want to thread with. As I mention below, beginners are simply not skilled enough to be a feared lone wolf. Might I suggest rewinding your character back a bit, and make the person you have here what the newly reformed Gregory aspires to be.
- Account Name: While it's ok for a character to have a nickname they're known by, your account name must be the same as your character's given name.
- Birthday: You're off by one year. If he was born in Summer 484AV, he'd be 28 right now, turning 29 this coming summer.
- Appearance: Just a superficial note, you may want to describe your character's appearance without relying on references to real world culture icons.
- Helmet: The three silk scarves on the helmet do not come with it, and must be bought in addition. They run 2.5gm per scarf.
- Disdain for Certain Gods: While it's not a problem now, you'll want to show at least some caution in blaspheming any gods, unless you're angling for a negative gnosis mark at some point.
- "Lone Wolf" Mentality: The wilds of Mizahar are extremely dangerous, and not just because of the sentient beings out there. Humans are on the defensive when not in cities, and there are plenty of beasts out there that would have no trouble at all taking on a lone human wandering around, no matter how well armed. On this same vein, you will not come across any lone farmhouses or small villages out in the middle of nowhere (burned down or not), unless they're close enough to a city to be affiliated, and thus protected, by them.
- Falling Over a Waterfall: Unless it's a very small waterfall, you'd need some divine intervention or something to go over without so much as a broken bone.
- Syliras: If he was born in Syliras, why is he travelling to there? Where is he travelling from?
- Languages: Mizaharian is not a language. Please view the list of valid Languages and choose one that is logical for you.
- Skills: Please indicate what points are from your Starting Points and what are from your Racial Bonus. Please also rename "Rope Mastery" to something else, such as Knot-Typing, or Ropework. Mastery is an experience level for skills and the title is therefore misleading.
- Wilderness Survival: If he's running around outside the city, he needs to have this skill in order to survive. If he came across a single Zith, he may be barely able to hold his own with his mace, but more than one enemy and he's Zith-food.
- Mace Skill: Please rename the skill "Maces" to "Weapon: Mace" for consistency with how weapon skills are labelled.
- Prayer Book: The Penita Scrolls are housed in Yaheba, please mention how one would come across them in book form in Syliras.
- Club: While you may use it as a club, the branch you found must be labelled as a branch in your possessions.
After you've addressed these issues in your CS, please PM me, and I'll remove this intervention. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Hi There.
My name is obviously Gossamer. I'm one of the core Founders of this site, and I've been watching you and your interaction with my Assistant Storyteller. Everything she's been telling you has been 100% correct in her thinking and rational. In fact, she's consulted me on things that are unfamiliar to her due to her location in the game. But as the creator of Syliras, Sylira, and a great deal of the Gods, I can often council.
Inherently, it is a problem if a new player clicks 'Agrees' in terms of our Terms of Use and our rules when they create an account and then decide not to follow them. At the very beginning of our rules, it clearly states no titles in names. I've seen her gently try to point this out to you and you attempt to compromise but yet retain your title in your name.
That is against our naming policy and the biggest number one reason why your account has a big fat red X over its title. I do not know if you realize what this means. A red X denotes you do not have permission to post with this character in any way shape or form until all the issues are resolved in your CS - the naming situation just one of them and the most prominent.
I understand you have a 'core' concept, but truthfully it does not fit our gaming world especially if you refuse to follow our rules in developing this concept. Everyone else on this site happily abides by our ToU and Rules. I'm not sure why you feel the need to be the exception.
And sure, you can go play elsewhere. We don't want unhappy people here. But the benefit of staying on Mizahar is that you get a solid site that isn't going down anytime soon and has an abundant amount of Storytellers and Players to interact with. I feel, and I suspect a lot of others will agree with me, that this is a benefit well worth any fussing on our part about a simple account name.
At this point, it is getting to the degree where you are being hugely selfish with Magpie's time (and to some extent mine) as a volunteer. She should be able to - under our system - give you a list of corrections politely, have you make them, and verify your account so you can begin playing. There needs to be no debate, no justification for your situation, etc. When it takes more than ten minutes to deal with a character sheet there is grounds for serious concern and it borders on being 'not worth the effort' when she could be off roleplaying her PCs, moderating, grading, and developing. You are one person having to deal with one staffer. She is a singular staffer having to deal with hundreds. And at this point, it is going on hours of time wasted trying to get this account playable and realistic in a fantasy sense.
Please make the changes or find somewhere to play that will accept your rigid concept lock stock and barrel. I can recommend some rp sites that allow freeform, but they are again not as big nor as stable as Mizahar. And, though wholly biased, not nearly as awesome.
The choice is yours. But we are honestly done debating this CS and asking for changes. Make them, play, or move on.
