So I've recently been wanting to practice my writing and was part of an RP forum many moons ago.
So I went in search of a good RP forum utilising the power of Google and wound up here due to the site being consistently rated high on RP forum charts.

It's rather daunting looking at the lore and trying to get my bearings and figure out what I need to do, although the starting guide and initial PM were very helpful and I now have a WIP CS.
I still need to read the lore in depth and a few of the other guides to help me properly flesh out my character.
I also plan to read some RP's to get a sense of what's expected and how stories tend to progress.

I've always loved fantasy and am a great lover of film and literature of all genres, but fantasy has always been my favourite, closely followed by sci-fi.
I'm an avid gamer and love games with strong stories like MGS, FF, Baldurs Gate, Telltales:Walking Dead etc

I can't say I have any particular style of writing or many ideas yet about how I would like my story to go.
I plan to just jump in initially, after I've learnt the lore, and let things develop naturally based on my character and the world.

The lore on this site is incredible from what I've read so far, very fleshed out and original. I can see why this site is so popular and it looks like I'm going to have a lot of fun here, if you will have me

Hello sir (or madam)! I hope you enjoy yourself here! The lore here sure does come in bulk, but it's great how wonderfully innovative it all is! I'm a big fan of Telltale's Walking Dead too, though I've never actually found time to play it myself. My character sheet is coming along nicely, I'm full of ideas and have a good idea of what my Character is going to be like.
I am finding Vantha and Avanthal lore very interesting and the more I read about it, the more ideas I get about my characters potential history.
Once I have a solid history in place I can further edit his personality and appearance so that it all fits nicely together and hopefully makes for a believable character.

Then I should be ready to step in to the word of Mizahar!

I will check out the chat thread, thanks for the suggestion, I do have questions on how the threads work (I've read a few but I'm confused on which ones are moderated, which are just people RPing together, location threads etc. I'm used to having a single thread for a character for the location they are at, that is DMed by an individual and other players drop in and out when appropriate) but I'm sure there's a guide around here somewhere that will explain it to me.
