PM to join Early Morning Meeting [Aleron]

Anna sighed, she had already lingered here for longer than she would normally, and she had work that she needed to get done today before the season was over. The young wizard rose from her chair, her expression once more imperious and arrogant and her grey eyes sharp and alert. She sent a final glance over her soon to be pupil and sighed, hopefully he wouldn't prove more frustrating that he was worth. It was likely that she would need to educate him on the nature of Djed, a number of students she had taught used magic on an instinctual level and were not aware of the finer points of magic. Hence the 'Magical Studies', the University had placed at the end of her course name. Using magic was one thing, understanding it was another thing entirely. A person could use magic and not have any clue as to the finer points of its use, unless they possessed some form of higher educated background. "I have business elsewhere, Mr. Aleron. I expect you in my office at the beginning of the summer season at nine bells sharp. I trust I am understood?" Annalisa said, walking past his table with a slight warning glare promising terrible things should he be late. She held his gaze for a moment before striding out the door to the dining hall and out of the establishment entirely. Already Anna was thinking of how best to educate her newest pupil, with her mind settling on the ease of the fundamentals. She also made a note to read up on his disciplines that she may better understand a teaching method for them. Which would mean a trip to the Restricted Section of the library soon. With another weary sigh the Professor set off for the University. OOOA short thread but a good introduction I think, which was all this needed to be. This will be my last post here unless you wanted to continue it. If not, feel free to put up your last one and then I'll submit it for grading.

Aleron watches as she sighs, raising his eyebrows a sad, somewhat surprised by the abrupt change from snide to seemingly unhappy, before he gives a nod and a light smile as she appears to shift back to what seems to be a - sadly - more usual state for her.

"Of course, Professor Marin." Comes the reply, again, furnished with a nod and a smile to boot, "A pleasure to meet you, I look forward to your tutelage, and learning more from you. I'll do what I can to be a good student." Her warning glare only earns a broader smile from him, as he looks up at her, still seated for the moment, while she's standing.

He gives a faint wave as she heads out, and a light chuckle once she's left the building entirely, shaking his head a little, before he pushes himself to his feet with a faint sigh of his own, not a huge fan of being motionless, even for the period he was. She's not the only one to have spent more time at the breakfast table than usually, and he takes a moment to get moving again, get the blood flowing properly from his feet to his head, no short trip.

An observer might notice the oddity of him collecting the plates and cups, - after making sure both of their chairs were tucked in properly - returning them to the counter carefully for the staff, ensuring he doesn't drop them or anything silly, before he, too, makes his way out.

Who knows what else the day has in store for him? The only way to find out, he supposes, is to go out and see, and heads off in search of the answer, with a smile on his lips and a habitual swiftness in his stride.
