Known as the Celestial Seat, Nyka is a religious city in Northern Sylira. Ruled by four demigods and traversed by a large crevice, the monk-city is both mystical and dangerous. [Lore]

This giant really was a scaredy cat. Why the hell should he be that afraid of Zandelia? Oh well... Today would be a cheap day for buying clothes. Of course she'd honor her promise... if this guy didn't object to him having to pay for whatever she wanted to buy. Oooh, it felt so nice having him on the leash like that.
His question was a good one. What kind of shield did she want? Hmm.. something intimidating at least. And one that could hide her intentions, just like she could with her old shield. But another towershield wasn't an option, because if that would be made out of solid metal it'd be far too heavy to use. A large shield perhaps? Yeah, that should work. "Hmm, I guess a large shield should work. Of course it should be made out of metal. I ain't gonna work with bloody wood anymore.", she told him as she rubbed her arm again.
Just then she saw some good looking skirts inside a shop and darted inside. There were a couple nice long skirts and three short ones that had drawn her eye. While these up, she went through the shirts, trying to find a couple matching ones for the pieces she already held. This seemed to be more difficult, but in the end she did find three good ones. After having asked the shopkeeper for a fitting room, she started to change. First up was the dark-blue leather mini-skirt. It was really short and Revy's long legs made it look even shorter, yet it did cover up enough. It was just that it did just that, no more then covering what had to be covered. This she combined with a white cotton shirt, the sleeves covering about half of the upper arms. However, the neckline was rather low, drawing the attention of one's eyes towards the chest-area. "Xi, do you think Zandelia would like these clothes?", she asked as she popped out of the fitting room. |

At least it was the same woman, he'd fought not some doppelgänger. Xi smirked and Listened to her retort upon her current thoughts about the shield. A large shield, steel. She needed a new wall. Xi smirked and wanted to make a comment about him being able to break the next one but decided with his better judgement to just hold off on that. Xi instead made another comment. "Well it's good to see that your still the woman i fought, and your mindset doesn't change with your attire like most women..." As Xi finished he'd noticed that revy had suddenly vanished from sight. He swung his head back and forth looking for her. Fairly concerned that she'd just vanished. I look away for two seconds and she's gone in a puff of smoke again. Though Xi heard her voice again, asking his opinion on whether or not zand would like her clothes choice. Xi closed his eyes in and made a simple sighing motion before turning his head towards the sound of her voice. Half way through formulating a sentence he opened his eye's and caught sight of her.
"Revy, i think Zand...Zand...Zand...Is a petching lucky woma-I mean you've got long le- I mean, it looks great...I'm sure she'll like it." Seriously? Why am i even trying? Mentally chastising himself for his actions he noticed two other piles of clothes and the fact that her dress was high enough to almost be considered a pair of undergarments and her shirt cut exceedingly low...He wanted to slap himself...He felt like he was in some kind of weird freakish dreaming nightmare, where the woman who hated him was actually a pretty damn fine woman. Out of her range of view Xi pinched his leg. Pain. No it was real...Why did he have to be such an idiot ? "I-Is that all your getting here ? Or...Is my coin going to dwindle further?" Not that i really mind if this continues... |

Hearing Xi's praise was a good sign. It would mean that Zandy would like it too. "Oh crap... now I used her real name..... Remember it for a bloody change Revy. It's Amelias, not Zandelia.", she chastised herself as she noted that she too used the wrong name again. She gave Xi a glare at the same time, as he also used the wrong name.
The next skirt she tried on was more appropriate then the previous one. It went down to just above her knees. However, it was a skirt that could easily be swept up with the wind, unlike the previous one. It was black, and made out of cotton. With this she picked the red, fine woolen shirt and like the other shirt this one had sleeves that went down half her upper arms. It didn't have a low neckline, but instead it was tight around her body and again accentuated her chest area.
"Ey, you shouldn't fall in love with me ok? You'll only be heartbroken.", she said in a playful tone while changing. And after she got out again, asked.... yet again: "How does this look?" She hung towards him a little, staring right at Ximal. As if telling him that she didn't care how much she was going to spend. He was just going to be paying for it.. one way or another. |

Revy's face darkened for a split second there. She hadn't been able to talk much with Zandelia lately. She seemed to be busy almost all the time, not asking her love for help. And when she did have a day off... she seemed to be too tired to be doing something and that was if the both of them had a day off at the same time even. "She's... been busy. I don't wanna disturb her right now.", she replied to his question. Her voice betrayed her a little, as the sadness showed through it.
However, she quickly regained her composure and disappeared into the the room again. The third skirt, she had found, felt really nice when she held it. It felt just like her strapless dress, so it had to be made out of silk. She picked it up, because of it's beatiful crimson red color. And she didn't regret it, even though it covered her legs completely. For this she had searched for an appropriate shirt, made out of the same material. A black shirt, sleeves covering her arms completely, yet it had a rather showing V-neck, cutting down to between her assets.
While looking down at herself, she didn't quite like a neckline that low, but if Zandelia would make time for her if she wore that, then she would just suck it up and carry on with it. "Hmm... a school huh? I don't think I'd be a good teacher, but I could give it a a shot. Also... I think I'll forgive you... if you get me a proper shield that is.", she said as she came out of the room and showed her last set off. |

Xi caught the end of her fist line, the tell tale signs that she was happy for her. But at the same time was sad that she was busy. Probably wanting to spend time with her to which her current goals were interfering. Before Xi could offer any sort of reply and chance to reassure her she vanished back inside the changing room again. Xi sighed and he eventually managed to get out a sentence. "Well, if you ever get in trouble and zand's not around. Ya can always talk to me, it's not like i'm busy much..." A lighter tone and a slightly joking one. Xi smirked adn could feel his coin pouch aching slowly, however he said he'd be the gentleman and get her a few things. Xi shook his head and awaited her third venture from the changing rooms. Before finding his mind wandering and his eyes downward again when she stepped out. Mentioning her giving it a shot at being a teacher at his school. And she'd forgive him if he got her a proper shield.
"I-i'm sure you'd do well as a teacher...I mean with great brea-very, and ski-lls like yours i'm sure you'd be a magnificent ass-ett. I'd be happy to have you - at the school teaching." Xi managed a smile before nodding and trying hard to mask himself. Xi took a deep breath and then spoke agian. "You get a bag for your purchases. and i'll pay the merchant." As Xi walked over to them he couldn't help but notice a very funny looking grin on the merchant's face Xi just narrowed his eyes and gave him a look that screamed, "not even close" Before tossing the money at him in a small pouch. "I think from here it's onto the west district. There i can get you that shield your so adamant about." Xi smirked as if to look friendly but as he turned around he noticed revy had ducked back in to get changed, and he could jsut about see a tiny crack in where the curtain was...He blinked twice before heading back to the door way, pretending like he'd seen nothing. |

Hearing Ximal stutter like that, almost made the mercenary laugh, if not for the fact that his words had been badly covered up. He was most certainly making rather perverted comments and this didn't slip her attention. "I'm sure that other guys share that opinion, Xi. Also... make one more comment tlike tha and you might lose a pair down there.", she said pointing at his crotch.
She went back inside before he was even able to react to that. She really felt like breaking his nose over those comments. Even if he didn't finish them properly, it didn't mean that he didn't have the intention of saying them. But still, she promised to forgive him if he payed for today and thus she forced herself to calm down as she got changed again. She did feel as if someone was looking at her for a split of a tick, but shurged it off.
After she got out, and heard that she should get a bag for her stuff, she just picked up a plain bag. Nothing fancy, nor good looking. Just a functional bag. She actually needed one as with these clothes, she didn't have enough room in her old one anymore. Besides, a bag was never a bad thing to have. "Add this to the bill too then.", she yelled after Xi, before he completely walked out.
After having put her new clothes into the bag, and Xi paying for it, she gave it to him to carry. "Yup, I'm happy with the clothing I have right now. Now I don't have to wear a dress, or my leather armor all the time." |
oocWe might have a slight problem as the only blacksmith in Nyka is player run and the owner is AWOL.

The mercenary kept walking, almost completely ignoring the comment made by the giant about her fitting her armor and dress. However, not too much later did he start about a possible scenario. He thought he stood a chance if she hadn't met Zandelia? Who was he kidding? She didn't even try to envision her being with a man. The idea alone disgusted her. But unfortunately she didn't get a chance to react to his words as he continued to speak.
What he was saying now was... something she completely didn't agree with. You only needed power to defeat others.... To protect yourself you HAD to defeat other people. Doing it only for yourself... well.. that was something Revy had changed, as she now wanted to fight for Zandy's sake as well. Of course, Myri was a given to fight for. She was the goddess of war and victory, so you always fought for her.
She wanted to lecture him about it, but she kept herself in check. The woman was almost certain that if she started to talk about it, she'd let out that she firmly believed in Myri... and that was something she wanted to keep hidden while in Nyka. "Well... to each their own, Xi..", she just replied.
After a while, they entered the western district. Here Revy immediately started looking around for an armor shop and after not too long, found one. Once inside, she started looking at the various wares on display, paying special attention to the shields. However, she just couldn't find the one she liked... until she saw a mannequin equipped with a a full-plate armor set, including a shield. The looks, the fact that t could be used as an intimidation-tool and the great protection it would offer, just made her want it instantly, but she asked Xi for just a shield. Looking at Xi, she said: "I want that." However, one could easily mistake her pointing at the shield with pointing at the whole armor set. |

The walk continued onwards, Xi got smaller buffs to what he'd said and he'd assumed she's completely blanked his first statement. Xi sighed, whatever happened at least she'd not changed her opinion of him and he was...somewhat alright with that. Even as she said " to each their own." Though that sentence signalled their arrival in the western quarter. Before long she found an armour shop, Xi dragged behind a little thinking about how much he'd spent today and how much he'd been working on. Still he also needed a new pair of gauntlets and was probably going to get them today. So he entered in behind her and tended up looking around for a pair. Eventuallyy he found a pair for himself nothing fancy just a plain pair. Xi picked them up and headed over to the counter before he heard in quite loud words " i want that" Xi closed his eye's dreading what he was going to see, and then he saw revy pointing ata suit of armour...Xi thought she'd said shield?! His eyes almost popped out of his head.
But then he noticed the small change in the angle of her finger, she wasn't pointing at the armour but the shield, however Xi could see in her face that she wanted ALL of what she was pointing at. Xi could tell almost instantly he wouldn't have enough on him...Xi shook his head lightly and told her to grab the shield. As she came over with it and place it down Xi brought up the topic of the armour. "I se you want that armour...It's expensive...How about i make you a deal? Once my school picks up and I've the money i'll lend it to you, in exchange for 3 favours...Fair deal ?" Xi smirked and forked over the coin for the shield and the gauntlets of his. Before turning to look at revy and collecting the gear up. It was a fair offer but she didn't exactly know what he was going to ask so it was something he was expecting her to turn down...But maybe there was a possibility? |
