25th of Summer 513 AV.

The sun was rising on this summers day as the titan set at the docks overlooking the water. Titus let out a sigh and leaned back, the sunlight hitting his face causing him to squint. He didn't know how to swim, which bothered him, but that wasn't the reason he was out here. No he needed to think and the sound of the birds and waves helped him. He need to figure out what he was doing with his life. Both of his friends here were living well. Ricky being a guard and the cute little herbalist Leila with her own shop. He sighed and leaned forward looking down at the water. "You came here with no plan, you need to thing of something." he mumbled to himself.

Dawn breaks on a new day [Mikaela and Leila]

Postby Mikaela Silverscribe on June 12th, 2013, 7:12 pm

Mikaela took no notice of anyone that morning, nor did she usually notice anyone during any morning. Mornings were her time out, her time providing for herself. The silver fox pinned a mouse to the ground, watching it struggle to escape with mild interest rather unlike many animals. Finally, she brought her mouth to it, happy to be unnoticed by the humans of Zeltiva. Food has never been a problem, she realized.

What was going on? Upon finishing breakfast, Mikaela glanced around the docks; her wanderings had taken her to the other side of the city. Can't transform here. That's what he told you. Should go back home.

However, Mikaela did not head home immediately. Instead, she sat by the sea, gazing at the reflection of the sun on the water until she tired of that and decided to head home.

Slam! A person holding a box, not looking, tripped over Mikaela. Kicked, rather, and then tripped, for Mikaela found herself flying into the water. Soon after, not a fox but an entirely nude woman dragged herself onto the shore and lay there for a moment. Mornings, she groaned to herself. Always wonderful.

Mikaela didn't seem to noticed that she had transformed; as she lay there, she looked around a few times before standing. This brought her attention to her current form, and she took off running, reassuming her fox form as she ran. Mornings, she complained again. Wasted that mouse, you did. Have to find another one.

Dawn breaks on a new day [Mikaela and Leila]

Postby Leila on June 12th, 2013, 7:52 pm

Leila was sitting on her rock by the beach down from the docks, the same rock where she'd learned of her magic. She was wrapped up in her cloak, wearing only her imported vinati and bryda underneath, as well as the strapped sandals that came with them. Syna was finally warming the air, and Leila was here looking to swim. Her father had always told her that swimming is one of the best forms of exercise, but she hadn't done it since she'd moved out. Leila noticed that it was much hotter for this early in the day than normal, but maybe summer was just rearing up. A dip in the water seemed necessary now. She set her cloak on the rock, Shaco already sleeping next to it. "Guard my stuff boy, I'll be back eventually." She pulled off her sandals and set them in the sands as well, looking around nervously to make sure no one could see her.

She started toward the waters, her loose bryda flowing in the winds, her feet moving over the compact, warm sands. She toed the incoming tide, the water cool, but not cold. She walked into the surf, her body shaking off the chill quickly. She kept going until the water was up to her chest. She then started slowly moving her arms in circles in the water, like her papa had taught. Him being a sailor had deemed it crucial to teach her to swim. Her body lifted off the sandy bottom, and she began to kick lightly, floating off. She kicked her legs in circles as well, and tipped her body forward, her arms doing broader circles.

She continued like this for a while, never moving especially fast or far, just roaming about in the surf. She looked up the beach at the nearest dock and saw a mountain of a man, and even from here, she could recognize him. So she started swimming that way, tilting her body forward, her legs continuing to kick as she leveled out. Her hair was getting wet now, but it wasn't a matter to her. She bobbed up and down in the surf, occasionally sputtering up water. She wasn't even halfway there yet and her arms and legs were beginning to tire, but they were nowhere near as sore as her back. She kept going though, kicking, pushing, struggling until she found herself on the side of the dock. She then made her way around the end with her new friend Titus sitting there. "Hello there Titus! Enjoying the view or meditating?" She kept herself in the water up to her neck, so as to not overly expose herself.

OOCPS Don't forget this date is when the heat wave in Zeltiva starts.

Titus looked down at Leila, as the sun began to rose into the sky. "Thinking I guess. Wondering what the hell Im doing" he said, noticing her swimming. He leaned back and sighed. He had forgotten the little fact that he didn't know how to swim. He wondered if he should learn sometime. His glance had shifted over to where her saw a female naked, he watched for awhile as she ran off then suddenly changed into a fox. "Okay then" he mumbled before turning back towards Leila. "What are you doing here little dove?" he asked sitting up. "I mean besides the obvious?" he chuckled. He looked down at her as she bounced in the waves, just noticing the fact that her shoulders were mostly exposed. He could barely make out the shape of her chest and he blushed, ever so slightly. He cracked his knuckles and said "Wouldn't you rather sit up here if you are going to talk?".

Dawn breaks on a new day [Mikaela and Leila]

Postby Mikaela Silverscribe on July 2nd, 2013, 4:50 pm

((My apologies; I needed to think of something interesting to do. Also, I was slacking. A lot. The next reply shouldn't take so long.))

Having given up the chase for mice, at least for the hour, Mikaela returned to the docks, where she sat for a moment longer, staring out at the sea again. Where did he went? Should have returned by now. Left in the morning, too, he did. Was it years now? He say to continue mouse-hunt and wait at docks. I wait, but nowhere does he show up, now. Must be busy somewhere.

Mikaela continued to converse with herself about the friend that had led her to Zeltiva while Titus and Leila held a less mournful conversation about encountering each other. Mikaela pawed at the water; now that her coat was already soaked, it couldn't make that big a difference. However, she still didn't especially like the feeling of it, and she lay down on the dock, her tail dangling over the edge but not touching the water. Dry now, fur, please? Not pleasant when wet, it is.

Mikaela had an odd way of speaking, a dialect that fit her comfortably but caused curiosity wherever she went, especially in her friend, who had once taught her how to speak "properly." He say to wait, but never does he show up.

The silver fox paused a moment, apparently slightly fascinated in a conversation held between two strangers. A sudden bout of loneliness overtook her for a moment, long enough for her to launch herself at the dock that held the man and wind herself around his feet. Pay attention to me, she implied as she rubbed her wet fur against his legs. I'm right here. Do something.
