The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

OOCI thought it would be a good idea to end the thread here and leave the lunch for another time. The ending sequence is all yours, my friend. Whatever you do with it, I'm sure it would be fine >w<

Sitting with the sun at her back, Liriah glanced at her companions before returning her gaze to Krisa. Watching Krisa shed her Bryda and shirt, Liriah had to suppress her gasp of horror at what she saw. Liriah was used to scars, having seen plenty etched into the flesh of those she helped, but what stood before her was of a different level. Her back was a latticework of smooth and jagged lines, something which Liriah had never expected to see on a child so young as she.

Glancing at Luma , Liriah noticed that he was equally as shocked. Luma's eyes became a puddle of molten concern. As their eyes met, Krisa and Kieran none the wiser at what was going on behind them, a silent agreement was formed. Turning their attention back to Krisa, who was now slipping on the dress that Liriah had found too long for herself, the duo was surprised at the transformation.

Turning around to face them was an exceptional beauty. With the baby blue ribbon holding her hair back, Krisa's hair tumbled behind her in flaming rivulets, a few loose strands sneaking across her shoulders. The dress contrasted drastically with her hair, accentuating its tone and her fair skin even further. Although the two girls differentiated in the height, chest, and figure department, the dress had still brought out the curves in what Krisa had described as a boyish body. She could have been the fairest maiden within the Solar Wind Apartments right at that moment.

The change was noticeable to Liriah, maybe everyone in the room; Krisa was absolutely radiant, albeit shy. As the girl stuttered her thanks and gratitude to Neroll and her, Liriah broke into a gentle smile.

"It looks perfect on you," Liriah admonished, looking towards Luma to see what she thought; Luma's expression was just as she expected "I would have it no other way but with you in it. No need to feel inadequate, you already put many girls to shame by simply being you."

Jumping from her abode, Liriah landed beside Krisa and pulled her towards the door in one smooth motion, Light spilling across the room and setting the two girls' hairs alight. With Luma looking after the apartment, Liriah left with her new friend, Kieran riding her shoulder, as the two ran down the apartment steps and through the door.

In the darkness, Light grows stronger. Will you allow it to grow or will you succumb to despair?

The Frostflame Melody

oocYes I was thinking that too ^^. This is the sweetest thread :3 Its short but there wasn't too much more to write in this last Reply :P

As she changed, Krisa wondered what Lira made of her scarred torso. The attack had played in her mind causing shivers to run down her spine. Her nakedness, her vulnerability would fuel such vivid imagery, memories that would forever haunt her, forever hinder her mentally. The scars were not all physical. They made her forever ugly, and only one other had ever seen them so close. Somehow she felt safer than usual. She felt she was not going to surcome to a panic attack this time, she could control the screams inside her head, and turn them into tolerable whispers. They talked to her, reiterating all the nasty things that she thought about herself, and undermining her value, but she would not listen. As she slipped the fabric over her shoulders they were muffled beyond comprehension.

While Krisa felt she had merely achieved adequacy, and a modest changed from her dull appearance, her friend shook her head and smiled warmly at her, insisting that the dress was perfect on her. Her words made Krisa feel stronger. It made her feel as though she had found her place in the world, and she was happy here. Krisa gave a slight twirl and felt beautiful for the first time since Lem's passing. Lira grabbed her arm and lead her into Syna's warm embrace as their hair caught on fire in her golden rays of light.

As the two of them moved throughout Lhavits shining streets and colourful crowds to find the place where they would content their growling stomachs, Krisa didn't feel like the odd one out in the crowd. With Kieran on her shoulder and Lira by her side, and the folds of her new attire gently swishing too and fro about her thighs, she felt this was truly a place where she could belong again. Even if it wasn't with the one she loved, she could feel Lem gazing down at her with happiness in her eyes. She would find a way to repay Lira for this, she made an oath to herself then and there, that she would forever remain loyal to the friend who brought her out of her shell.
