Season of Summer, Day 14, 513 AV
The wind was calm and the temperature nice, nice weather for flying around in, but Alenias was not flitting about over the city of Ravok for fun today. She wanted to know what else had changed in Ravok, and it was much easier to travel and see while she was a bird.
She hadn't been out and about for very long when she came across a section of the city that caused a tickling in her head, and so she paused in her flight to land on the roof of a nearby building. Her dark eyes darted back and forth over the still visible fence as she tried to think about why the area was familiar.
After a chine or two she had finally pulled up a foggy memory of Treanas and her hiding in an alley, him pointing at the fence and telling her to stay away from it no matter what. He hadn't said why, and Alenias hadn't asked. She'd simply nodded and followed Treanas as he left.
That was a long time ago, and Treanas wasn't taking care of her anymore. Alenias found herself very curious what was behind the fence, and why Treanas had told her to stay away. Was it where Siriana and the others were hiding?
Curious and cautious, Alenias took to the air again and flew closer to the fence. Her heart started beating faster as she drew closer, her dark eyes darting over the people with weapons outside of the fence. They looked like guards, like the man who had taken Aello away. Was this a place where people were put in cages, like the one Alenias had helped Aello get out from? Why would Treanas tell her to stay away from a place like that?
Nervously watching for sign of the guards noticing her Alenias circled around the fenced area. Every few beats of her wings she chanced a glance over the fence to try and see if there was anything interesting inside the area. There had to be something interesting here, and for now her sense of curiosity was greater than her fear of bad men.
