((Not my best post by a long shot. My next posts will be much better!))
48th day of Summer, 513
Night had begun its descent across Syliras and though the crowds in the streets had begun to diminish, they had not entirely disipated as people made their way for one location or another; maybe returning home after a long day's work or perhaps stopping to get a drink before heading elsewhere. A young woman wandered the streets aimlessly, her pace lazy, perhaps even uncaring as she weaved between people and paused every now and again to peer at something that caught her attention at the moment. While she had not been in the city for very long, she was already rather bored; but boredom was not something new to Sigriet Aelammur; who was trying to alleviate that boredom by exploring the city, attempting to find something to entertain herself with.
It was only natural that a young gambler try to learn the layout of the city that she may have called her home; there was no other way to figure out where the more interesting establishments may have been. Or where the most accessable hiding places and city exits might be, in case she somehow managed to draw the wrong sort of attention or irritated the wrong people with her habit of accruing gambling debts and not paying her debts back. Such knowledge would doubtlessly end up being useful to her on several occasions. Had she actually been paying attention to where she was and not just letting her feet carry her down whatever street and alley that seemed interesting.
She found it very difficult to try and find something worthwhile to do, while attempting to remain inconspicuous-looking. It wasn't as though she was a thief or otherwise nefarious; she was just in the mood to incite some sort of mischief. The only problem with that was: she had become horribly lost in her roaming, with no idea how she had managed to get turned around, nor how to find her way back. Well, there was nothing else to do but just keep on looking for something that would hold her interest anyway; she'd figure out how to get back to the inn she was staying at-- when she was ready to head back and not a moment sooner. Being lost just was not as important as finding something to do.
