Completed The Hunter and the Ghost

Shiyami waved his hand at Yimi dissmissively "Even if I tell her not to come, hunting generally doesn't merit enough danger for her to hide in the city." he sounded bored at that, but became a little more enthused as he continued, "So, what have you got in mind for a nice catch?" Roderick had to wonder about what kind of catch they could search for. He'd caught a boar a while back, but Shiyami seemed to be looking for something that was more dangerous. "I couldn't promise what we'll find. If we search enough we might come across a Balicani - or a Kriital if we're real lucky. Most like we won't find anything like that."

Sighing to the Roderick's answer, Shiyami pondered for a moment. "Is there, by any chance, a place nearby that holds a challenge within?", he asked, hoping for a positive answer. He did not want to hunt some easy kills and such, otherwise it would be entirely useless and boring of a trip. "For example, any place where citizens are warned not to go to, if they value their lives?", he added, all the while smiling.

Shiyami sighed again. Always with the sighing..."Is there, by any chance, a place nearby that holds a challenge within?", he asked "For example, a place where citizens are warned not to go to, if they value their lives?", smiling all the while. He's not smiling to be friendly; he's probably doing it to unnerve me, Roderick mused,If he is, he's going about things the right way. "The Bronze Wood" Roderick told him "From all I've heard you can find a lot of things lurking around the place; things that would eat you as soon as they saw you. We could go hunting there - you were the one that suggested this little venture, so things should go fine..." he looked at Shiyami and gave his own taunting smirk, "Unless you don't think you're competent enough?"

Giving a grin worthy of being called demonic, Shiyami spoke. "Well, I frequent the Bronze Woods rather often as it is. Are you sure there is something entertaining enough of a prize to catch?", was the question, packaged with the tone of a cocky person. It was true, that he had frequented the forest, but he hasn't explored the entire area as of yet, so perhaps this man had the expertise in certain areas of the land.

The grin Shiyami gave could have made an angry bear run away, "Well, I frequent the Bronze Woods rather often as it is. Are you sure there is something entertaining enough of a prize to catch?" Roderick returned with his own smile, "Oh, I'm sure we'll have no trouble at all entertaining ourselves." he set his ale down before he drank anymore, "So, you bringing something to fight with - or did you plan on swinging the girl about by the ankles?

Shiyami had to smile when the man responded with what he presumes was a joke. Nodding in the direction of Kimi, he said, "Knowing her, she will bring a lot more harm to me, than she would anything else, if I wielded her as so.", with a joking tone,, while blatantly ignoring the glare that Kimi sent in his direction. Pointing at the box that he carries everywhere he goes, Shiyami added, "What ever I need for a fight, are amongst the cargo within that box.", with his demonic smile. Oh, if this man could find something worth fighting in the forest, he would be overjoyed, and probably frequent the forest more often.

Shiyami pointed at the box the girl was sitting on, "Whatever I need for a fight is amongst the cargo within that box." "Good," Roderick told him, swirling the ale about his cup; he still had plenty left, "I'm done here." he announced, getting up and starting to leave, "We can go on our little hunt some other day; a tipsy bowman is no good anyone." he set his mug down gently on the bar counter.

Shiyami nodded slightly as the man was preparing to leave, he did so as well. with the bar basically empty, excluding himself, Kimi, Roderick, and that barkeeper who looks so tired. Sighing, as he realized the hunt wouldn't start that very day, and yet anticipating the challenge of the hunt that is sure to happen, he smiled. "When you wish to meet again, or would like a hunting contest of the sorts, come to the hill over watching Syliras.", were his parting words, that carried the tone of someone who has been awake for a week with little to no rest. He turned around, and started walking off, followed by his strange, floating luggage box, and Kimi on said box. Though his back was turned, one could perceive a bright scarlet trail, not unlike the color of fresh blood, being drawn through the air, where ever his eye was.

OOCIm back for holidays, but this would probably be my last post for this thread. You can write another, final post, if you desire so. Thank you for role playing with me, and please come again!!!
