The Jungle Wilds, 19th of Bell, 13th of Summer 513 A.V
"Don't quiver ssso much, sssmall sissster!" A Dhani warrior in his dhani form was walking beside a much smaller Dhani in her human form, he rolled his eyes at the cowardice this diminutive sibling sub-race Dhani showed. He couldn't believe that someone like her was actually accepted as one of Senescaaspia's Reimancers. "Jussst calm down and we'll be jussst fine!" He raised his voice a bit, if she didn't calm down now, he would skewer her with his spear and just leave her corpse for the Myrians to feast on.
"I-I-I'm not afraid! I'm p-perfectly fine!" Aka, the aforementioned quivering Viper, was in fact afraid, she was patrolling in the middle of a foreign jungle after all. Her pride didn't let her admit it though, but her denial was poorly executed as her little shaking body utterly betrayed her. The male Dhani warrior beside her could only raise his eyebrow and rolled his serpentine eyes, this weird Viper preferring to patrol in her human form was already strange enough for him, let alone her denial on something that was so obvious.
"Let'sss jussst get a move on..." He picked up his spear and slithered forward in his usual patrol route, looking if any Myrian scum wanted to sneak pass to Zinrah, he would gladly decapitate their heads and put it on a pike for all Myrians to see.
"Y-yes..." Aka needed some kind of weapon so she flexed her fingers and generated some reddish slimy res on her right palm, she then opened her palm downwards to gather some dirt and rocks, the earth material then combined into a rough, but sharp, shape of a dagger made of rocks. Aka gave it a few practice swings and finalized the shape by smoothing its sharp edges, not bothering with the aesthetics.
"Interesssting abiity, Viper. Reimancy, yesss? Sstill, isss that stone weapon asss strong asss my ssspear?" The warrior beside her was genuinely impressed by her magical ability, but magic could never beat good old physical prowess.
"I think it's sharp enough..." Aka located a tree and thrust her stone dagger into it, the dagger pierced the surface and got stuck there. "Yes, it's... uhn! Sharp!" Aka struggled as she tried to pull the dagger free from the tree's bark. The warrior beside her just shook his head and easily pulled the dagger, making Aka tumbled backwards.
"W-woah! Woah!" Aka controlled her balance by rolling backwards and canceled her fall, planting her feet firmly on the ground. Aka's acrobatics were very useful in these foreign land where lots of giant beings could toss her around like a ragdoll. Her bones would be broken in so many places if not for her natural speed and talent as a Viper.
"You are ssstill lacking in ssstrength, Viper. Hmmm... with that tiny body of yoursss, I bet you can't get far anyway... ssso jusst ssstay back if anything goesss wrong, yesss?"
"G-goes wrong?" Aka ignored the mocking - but true - statement earlier, her mind was getting worried at the 'wrong' word.
"Yesss, wrong, like Myriansss... or worssse, Myriansss on a tiger..."
"T-t-tiger?!"
"Yesss~ Myrian Tigersss, foul beassst. Now let'sss get a move on" Not allowing Aka to delay the patrol, he slithered forward, black scales stood firm against the night sky... followed by the bewildered and trembling Viper with her pale skin.
