13th Day of Summer,502 AV,Just After Dawn

Syrus sat up outside of his tent with the company of his strider, gazing at the beautiful sky as daybreak contaminated the sky with its shining light. As he sat up watching the daybreak,he heard a crack in the ground. He knew that it was a sound that was made when someone was coming. As he quickly glanced back,he saw his father,Kolvin, walking towards where he sat. Kolvin sat with ease in the grass next to Syrus. There was a long silence as they both stared into the daybreak. "It is beautiful, isn't it,son." Syrus nodded his head "It is very beautiful when daybreak comes." Kolvin turned towards Syrus, grasping the ground with one of his hands, pushing himself back to his feet. "I think its about time I taught you how to fight properly." Syrus looked up as Kolvin stood before him "I already know how to use a sword, what else is there, father?" Syrus began to push himself back up on to his feet in to a standing position. "Come, son,I will show you." As Kolvin began to walk towards the field,Syrus stalked closely behind his father. Soon they reached the clearing,a place not too far from the pavilion, but where they would be undisturbed. "Alright, son, put up your fists." Syrus did as he was told and put up his hands. "Good. If you are ever in a fight, hold your hands up like this. You will be able to block and punch more effectively from this position." Syrus quickly nodded as Kolvin spoke again "Now. I want you to hit me,aim for my chest." Syrus quickly launched a punch towards Kolvin's chest, but his father quickly caught his wrist as Syrus was making the motion. "You are leaving yourself open for a counter, son. Watch my moves and counter them. Try again." Syrus released another punch from his ready position, only this time, he stopped his father's counter-attack and connected with a hard blow to the chest area. Kolvin slid back a few inches, almost falling on to the ground, but his quick footing caught him. "Very good, son. Now i want you to try your kicks. Watch me first." Syrus began studying his movements,as Kolvin lifted his leg up,shifting his thighs towards his rear and releasing all of the power from his movement into a high kick. "Now,you try, son." Syrus lifted his leg up,shifting his thighs towards his rear, executing a perfect high kick. "Good job, son, now again." Syrus executed the movement precisely as he let go what seemed to be devastating kicks. Kolvin had Syrus attempt high and low kicks for the next half an hour. "Alright,Now its time to try some combos. Watch me." Kolvin quickly stood at a ready position, then quickly moved side to side, launching different types of devastating kicks and punches, ending with launching his arm to the form of an uppercut, followed by a high kick. Syrus stood in awe "That was amazing." His father smiled. "Alright,Now I want you to try that." Syrus quickly followed every move that his father had shown him, but not with complete execution. "That was good, but your form was a bit awkward, try again." Syrus tried to follow his father's every move and to his relief,he noticed how perfectly it was executed. His father clapped. "You are a fast learner, I am very impressed, son." This was not something he heard often. He had tried to better improve himself everyday through his father's vigorous training and to hear this statement said by his father was something of excitement and relief. "Alright,One more thing to do,Syrus, then we can turn in for today. I want you to fight me. Do not hold back." Syrus quickly scrambled to his ready position,as did Kolvin. Syrus was the first one to throw a punch. Kolvin quickly saw his angle and drove into where Syrus opened him self for an attack. Kolvin quickly took advantage of it and quickly connected a devastating blow to Syrus's ribs. Syrus was sent back a few inches as he landed a devastating blow to his father's chest. They both had fallen down. Syrus quickly got to his feet and charged towards Kolvin, not seeing Syrus charging towards him before it was too late. Syrus quickly landed a clean set of combos to his father's chest, head and stomach. Kolvin was launched into the grass again,as Syrus pinned him down. Kolvin laid in a defending position, launching Syrus off him and onto his back. Kolvin took this time to land a devastating punch to the head. Syrus quickly attempted to pull back, but Kolvin had put him in a arm-lock and was pulling his arm away from its socket. Syrus quickly tried to move but every time that he tried moving, his arm would hurt more. Syrus landed one more punch to Kolvin's head before, laying his hand down and tapping in submission. Kolvin noticed his hand and quickly let go, standing up from his attacking position "That was a good run,Syrus. You about had me there." Syrus pushed himself up after laying there for a minute, then he walked towards where his father was standing. "Put those skills to good use and keep practicing them and you will be a very good fighter some day." With that,Syrus and Kolvin turned in for the night.

Notes
Just a few things: Try and split your text up into paragraphs so its easier to read and then try to split that up into multiple posts. When its a big block, its just very difficult to understand. Likewise, the more detail you add, the more experience I can award you. :)
