Character Concept:
Those who Wesley has spared from the gruesome fate he has given most that encounter him find him to be surprisingly suave and sophisticated, with a love of the arts, culture, fine wine, and carnal pleasures. He speaks with an air of flamboyance and education, with a charismatic confidence many would find flattering. Those he chooses to spare find him to be a larger than life(due to the malevolent celebrity status his misdeeds have earned him across Mizahar) and sometimes even warm personality. He has a devilish charm when it comes to women, and there have been many accounts of a masked man climbing in through the windows of attractive maidens, seducing them, and then escaping back into the shadows of the night before dawn. There are even tales of the masked assassin seducing a young Kelvic woman he had been hired to kill in Ravok, before he sadistically dismembered her in her sleep.
Wesley is a narcissistic nihilist at best, and a bloodthirsty, merciless savage at worst. Highly unpredictable, those who contract his services fear for their lives as he often appears from nowhere. Stepping from the shadows to retrieve his contract, and then disappearing quickly as he came. It is not abnormal for Wesley to betray his contractor if his target offers him more money to murder his employer. He owes loyalty to no one, wandering the continent of Mizahar searching for his next victim, relying on his gifts in stealth, swordsmanship, and acrobatics to get the job done. The cloaked killer uses his environment as a weapon, scaling buildings with a style similar to that of free running to get around, evading pursuers by blending in with the shadows, and dropping from great heights seemingly without a scratch. He is wanted by every organization that represents law and order, but always seems to avoid capture through the occasional bribe, or good old fashioned violence. This is why it is common to find Wesley in a local tavern or harem during his down time, often clearing the room when he sets foot in. To Wesley, killing is an art that he takes great pride and passion in. Often times Wesley will spend his blood soaked money on wine, drugs, and prostitutes. The man seems to despise the gods, and has been more than happy to kill a priest or two in his time. He is a killing machine in search of the perfect opponent; the one who will finally take away his life spent spilling innocent blood.

Pre Creation History:
Wesley was born in the Summer of Four Hundred and Eighty Three AV to a drug peddling, prostitute mother in Sunberth. Not much is known about his upbringing other than what the folk legends his legacy has inspired tell. The commonly accepted story is that Wesley was a tortured child from the start, always getting into fights with the other children on the streets of Sunberth. He was small in his younger years due to malnourishment, but made up for it with quickness and wit. Wesley was a voracious reader, and the only form of schooling he received was from the books he would read, forming him into a surprisingly intellectual and culturally/artistically interested individual despite his savage persona. Many times he would pummel kids twice his size without any extra effort. He was addicted to violence at an early age. His mother was said to be very verbally and emotionally abusive towards the boy, many times locking him out of their desolate shack for weeks at a time. It was on the crime ridden streets that he learned to survive, teaching himself to climb, scale, and jump from place to place in his urban environment. He learned to become one with the shadows. When he was six Wesley stole a steel cutlass from an Eypharian who was accompanying a traveling slave trading caravan that passed through Sunberth, and taught himself to wield it, spending hours at a time practicing with the weapon and perfecting his craft. Wesley spent so much time training in the art of combat that it became second nature to know every pressure point and every weak spot, studying any medical texts he could get his hands on, ironically so that he could learn of new ways to DESTROY the body instead of healing it. The more skilled Wesley became, the more willing he was to use his deadly talents. At the age of seven, after a severe beating received at the hands of his mother, Wesley took action. One evening he murdered his mother and one of her clients in cold blood with his sword while they lay in bed. The client his mother had been sleeping with was a traveling bard, often times donning a mask to act out different characters from his plays during street performances. That night, the bard had chosen to wear one of his masks to "bed", a white painted piece of wood that only covered the upper part of the face around his eyes. The young Wesley was said to have donned the mask and fled from Sunberth that very night, leaving his dead victims to be discovered days later. Six years passed, when reports of several high profile murders committed by a sword wielding man in a cloak and white mask began flooding across Mizahar. These reports have continued to this day, ranging from a human aristocrat beheaded in his study, to an entire Tent of Benshira nomads butchered in the harshness that reflected their desert home. Without a place to call home, the assassin goes wherever his next contract takes him. Wesley had become a creature of stealth, his sword an extension of his own agile body. He had begun his career as an assassin, walking the path of a killer, and to this day has never looked back.
