Sei waved her to follow him. "Your aware that once I'm in Kelvic form, I can't talk back to you. You'll have to learn by watching." Sei stated, and he began to walk off. "Wait here. I'll be back once I've transformed." He said, veering into a cluster of trees. He removed his clothing quickly, and placed them in his backpack. He stood on all fours and trasformed. When he was done, he trotted back with his backpack in his mouth. He held it out for her to take, and lifted his head so she could put the strap around his neck. He waited for her and groaned. He listened deeply to the sigh of the wind, and pushed his head through the strap.

Sei trotted off. He stayed silent, and looked at the ground to show his paws avoiding things that would make noise. He lifted his head and wiggled his nose to signal he was sniffing the air for unusual scents.

He never seemed to tire, this Kelvic. As much as he hounded after her and took beatings from her, he never slowed. Even after their round of combat he didn't even think twice about changing pace. Just transitioned right into it like nothing had ever happened. Dutifully she followed after him, though, curious as to how he would fulfill her request.

"Well obviously," Kaie said with a shrug considering his inability to speak Common to her was assumed. Yet she stayed and waited for her acquaintance to return in a furrier form. She was not disappointed, for there came the hated tiger who had pursued her moments before. It was odd to see both phases as one.

Understanding the body language, she took the backpack from his teeth and did as he instructed. All was silent body language, but it was one she was accustomed to. Lots of pointing and gestures were made when she tried to communicate with others who didn't know Common or Myrian as she did. There was really no other way to communicate.

Kaie followed him closely with as much silence as possible. She did her best not to misstep onto something that would make audible noise. The last thing she needed was to alert whatever he was trying to smell, which she figured he was doing by that wiggle of his nose. And then she was waiting, watching the tiger for any more instructions. Hoping he'd find a trace of something.

Sei sniffed the air again, and whipped his head to the left and then to the right. He looked at Kaie, and crouched, lowering himself into the grass. He could smell it, but he couldn't see it yet. He stalked deeper into the forest, looking back every now and again to check for Kaie. He caught sight of a figure, and alerted his senses. As he inched closer, he could see a wild boar a few meters away. He lifted his body, and stod still staring at the boar to alert her it was time. Judging by the size, Kaie would have to stivk close to him. The boar had massive tusks, and looked pretty swift. He might have to carry her, but he continued to stare at it, as if burning holes in it's side.

Then the tiger was turning his head from one direction to the other. Sniffing for something worth chasing after no doubt. Assuming he might've caught the scent of some prey, Kaie glanced about the forest carefully. After scanning the foliage thrice she realized there was nothing within plain sight he was tracking, as expected. Whatever he was searching for she would have to wait for him to show her.

Sei looked at her and the Myrian quirked her brow at him again. A gesture as if to ask if he had indeed found something. Naturally he couldn't verbalize exactly what he was on to, but his body language spoke clear enough. She follower his movements immediately. The Myrian crouched low within the grass. Knees bent and body leaning forward in a predatory stalk. One hand graced the dirt to steady herself. Eyes stared through the blades of grass that were just above her line of sight. Her cover seemed to be satisfactory. When she turned to double check the quality of her position with the Kelvic, though, he was gone.

She followed the gentle rustle of the brush to find the tiger again. Occasionally she saw the lines that marked his big white face. Probably checking to see if she had managed to follow him, which she did. He rose from his position giving her the hint he was ready to strike. The Myrian edged up closer to him until she too could see the object of their hunt. A large boar.

Gladius in hand and a bow paired with a quiver strapped along her back, Kaie was well prepared. Easily she might've been able to pop up and fire at the creature. The problem was the movement of the foliage might've caused noise and scared off the animal. Besides, she wasn't quite great at the bow yet and throwing her sword was foolish. It seemed best to watch the White One this time around. Simply to observe and learn. Perhaps if they could find another she would have her go.

Kaie gently tapped his flank with the cool edge of her blade. A hint to let him know she was ready and right beside him. There to provide cover if need be. Eyes watching him on the other hand questioned what his next more would be. More importantly she wished to know what he wanted her to do next.

Sei looked back at Kaie, who had tapped his flank. He then looked repeatedly at her quiver and continued to advance at the boar. All Kaie had to do was cover him with her arrows. He stalked closer until the boar was only a few yards away, and sprang for it. He growled, and clawed the flesh on it's left hind leg, and went to kill it. The boar cried in pain, and turned to face him, charging with it's massive tusks. He sidestepped in time to dodge the tusks, but was blown back anyhow, harshly slaming against a nearby tree. He groaned and stood quickly, lashing out at the boar. He had cut through the thick flesh on the boars' hind leg, and could see the blood oozing from the wound. He lashed at the boar, but kept enough distance for Kaie to fire arrows.

By the way he stared at her bow, and made a point of doing so, Kaie figured what he wanted from her. Proper cover via longbow. Of course there was the problem in her proficiency. Honestly she wasn't an accomplished shot. She was almost concerned she might hit the petching tiger instead of the boar. Nonetheless, she figured she'd give it her best shot.

The Myrian woman sheathed her gladius in exchange for her bow. Retrieving an arrow from her quiver, she notched it quietly along the string. She let the tiger prowl forth first toward the boar. When he was in position and prepared to strike, the Myrian edged up at the same time he sprung.

The moment his claws dug into the beast, Kaie left her cover. She drew her arrow back on the bowstring carefully until it teased at her lip corner. She aimed carefully and then let an arrow fly toward the hog. With a hopeful expression she watched it. Watched it wedge itself into the ground several feet ahead of her that is. Frustration clouded her like a thick veil. Brow furrowed angrily and instead she tried again. Repeating the process from scratch as the tiger battled.

Inhale. She pulled the bow up and directed it at the squealing demon. Pulled the arrow back on the string until it reached the corner of her lip, eyes focusing on her target: the neck of the boar. Exhale. Kaie released the arrow and let it fly from the string. It felt far better immediately compared to before. The outcome was far more desirable too. Watching the arrow hit the boar in the belly rather than the throat, Kaie shrugged. Her face riddled with that "not too bad" expression. The boar let out a scream that let her know that even if her aim was off, she was still effective.

Just as Sei sprang, Kaie had jumped up in sync, and she brought the bowstring of her bow back with an arrow. She inhaled, exhaled, and launched the arrow. The boar yelped in pain, as the arrow had hit the abdominal area in it's side. While the boar was confused, he slashed at it's head, scratching through the eye, and growled. Apparently Kaie had understood the message, and had taken action immediately. He then jumped onto the massive hog, gripped the skin with his claws, and bit into the lower back. The boar bucked, and knocked him off, but he had managed to slash deeper into the previous wound, causing the boar to squeal. He was getting upset. The boar had multiple wounds, including arrows, but refused to bo down. He then advanced at it, and was rammed. He hit the side of his leg and groaned.

He got up and growled. The boar took a step back as Sei flashed his teeth, but shook it off and charged. it was to slow however, and he cut at the previous leg wound, slicing deeper into the skin. This time, the boar dropped to the ground, and he took his chance to sever the jugular. He leaped on to the boar, and sunk his teeth in the exposed flesh on the neck. He jerked his head around twice before he hit the jugular, causing the boar to roll back it's eyes. He then backed away and came back to Kaie. His paws were blood soaked, and he tried to look less terrifying, not that Kaie would be scared, but for his own benefit.

He took his bag into the bushes, and transformed. He put on his clothes and walked back to Kaie, his smile light and his eyes calm. "Is that enough to make up for your lost prey?" He asked smugly.

As soon as she watched the tiger take another beating from the overgrown pig, Kaie figured she might as well make herself a bit more useful again. She tugged another arrow from her quiver and placed it upon the string. Inhale. She pulled the bow up in the boar's direction and pulled back until the arrow hit its anchor mark. She then aimed carefully, though quickly to keep from losing time and space. Exhale. The arrow flew from the string straight into the boar's hind leg just as the tiger lunged for it.

After a struggle, the tiger had killed its prey. Padded past with bloodied paws, Kaie knew it would only be moments before the human form of the Kelvic returned. And right on cue that's exactly what he did.

"I suppose so. Considering this thing will be a real shyke show to butcher, I'll split it with you. Fair?"

Sei gave her a grin and nodded. "Deal." He agreed. He went to the boar, and squatted. He wanted to acces the boar, and deterime an asking price. Of course, he would give Kaie the bigger share, seeing as he basically took her first catch. He removed the arrows gently, and placed them on the ground intact. Let's see... Multiple wounds to the abdominal area.. That will take the price down a bit, but overall it's a fine cut.. He thought. He turned it over-not without struggle-and viewed the other side. It would still fetch a great price. He picked up the arrows and walked over to Kaie. "I'm thinking you want these." He said with a smile.

He then hardened his expression and spoke. "So.. About that lesson?" He said.

Kaie arched a brow at him curiously as he removed her arrows and appraised the kill. He seemed to be analyzing it with a careful eye. No doubt he was not just a natural predator but also an actual hunter. Though Kaie wasn't one who really sold her kills, since she only hunted when necessary, assessing the value of this one was interesting. Her clan had used every piece of an animal slain. There was hardly any room for trade with another. With the amount of hunters of each clan lurking in the jungle, it never seemed reasonable. Especially when they lived outside the walls.

Sei appeared pleased with his cut though, leaving Kaie to assume it would sell considerably well. It seemed they would both be getting something out of their fair share of trouble earlier on.

Kaie grinned at him as he reminded her of her end of the deal with such intensity. She took the arrows from him promptly and placed them back in her quiver. Then she shrugged with a smile, dropping her equipment slowly where she stood. Backpack, bow, quiver, sword. All of it. Then she stepped two steps in closer to him. Now they were hardly apart. Bodies close. Her lesson would begin.

"My word is my bond," She agreed with a curt not, smile still there letting him know she was enjoying herself.

"What would you like to know?"
