WIP PLACEHOLDER When Edreina moved towards the tack, she was surprised to see Serena laugh, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. "Not that... Not yet... First, I will teach you how to ride a horse without tack." At Edreina's utterly horrified look, the horsewoman smiled reassuringly. "I promise it is much easier than you think. Once you get the hang of this, riding with tack will be a breeze. Also, this will come in handy if ever you have to mount abruptly and ride for your life." Oh, well was that not the most comforting thought to put in the head of a woman already terrified of the thought of having to cross a continent? Despite her mind's protests, the way her entire being seemed to shy away from climbing onto Jorven's broad back. Once she was up there, what would stop the horse from running its rider into all matter of objects? Control and trust... Inhaling deeply, she walked over to to the side of the horse Serena dictated, accepting the knee up onto the horse. Her first reaction was to wrap herself, arms and legs, around the the gelding. At this sight, Serena knew not whether she should shake her head in exasperation or laugh aloud. Could this Svefra be joking? Or... Had she even seen someone riding a horse before? Deciding to simply shake her head and smile a wise old smile, she approached the clinging woman and rested a hand lightly upon her leg. "Edreina... you have to trust Jorven as he trusts you.
