Tzira steps foot into the training yard to be tested

Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

Tzira shocked that man was actually hit by the move. Step back in awe. Her hip raging in pain, but it appeared as though the man wasn't done yet. He was now charging at her gut with his head.

Not sure what to do and her hip in pain. Moving was a bit difficult, but she had to do something. As such she brought the brought spear up, and just as quickly brought it done. The entirety of the spear crashing against her opponents back. Hoping this would be enough to stop the raging man, but to be safe she ready herself for defense.

She released the spear after her attack and brought her arms up. Bending her right knee and turning so her right side faced Kyllyn. Her attempt was to keep her left injured hip protected and safe from the attack, but she ready herself for his head butt should he still be running. She ready her arm so that as soon as he was in range she could drop her elbows into her opponents back. Hoping to aid in stopping him because once she is knocked down he has the complete advantage over her.

Kyllyn continued his charge. The spear smacked against his bent back, but only slowed his charging form by a small increment. He seemed not to care abut the defensive position the girl was taking, nor the feeling of her elbows slamming into the slick skin of his back, for he hurtled into her through it all, head smashing against her ribs, his own skin red upon his back from the impact of her blows, both warriors tumbling unceremoniously to the ground.

"That's Enough, Kyllyn." The voice spoke from the shadows just as the male was raising a fist to punch Tzira, her own form on the defensive.

It was the female from before, who apparently had not fully left the yard. Her hair bound in a long braid looped intricately around the back of her neck, a single strand waving in a gentle breeze as she approached the two fighters.

"Do not think you are strong because you can strike a hot-headed male, child." Kyllyn leapt off the ground, his eyes bright with the heat of their fight, but any anger seemingly gone. The woman watched Tzira rise as well, her tanned arms folded across her chest.

"Name." It wasn't a question.

The impact from Kyllyn's head into Tzira's ribs was quite the experience. He most certainly had a hard head, and from the feel of it used his head quite frequently in battle. Her chest was sore and ached from the head butte charge. Her hip was also still ringing out in pain, but before her now stood the woman from before.

She had taken hold of the entire situation before them. Stopping Kyllyn dead in his tracks before he could land a fist on Tzira. She was clearly highly respected here. After all, for one to just stop everything they are doing at mere words alone. This woman must carry some weight in her name. Then she spoke to Tzira.

The woman didn't ask question, or waste time with words. She demanded what she wanted and made it clear it was not a question. It was a demand. She wanted to know Tzira name and there was no room in there for smart-ass remarks.

"Tzira Ma'am." Tzira spoke her name with great confidence. She knew that she had at least done sub par. She wasn't sure whether or not to speak or remain quiet. She decided she would wait to here what the woman said after she gave her name.

When Tzira spoke, the woman nodded, not offering her own name in reply, simply staring down the young recruit in stony, observational silence. The ticks ratcheted up to a full chime before she spoke again.

"You fight like a starving Marguay, loose, uncontrolled. Your flesh is weak, you smell of an infant, and look it too." Kyllyn's head was bowed a respectful distance away from the two females, but Tzira could catch the ghost of a smile upon his lips.

"Tzira, it is a name you have yet to grow into, but the smell will wash away in the sea of blood you'll have to walk through to earn Myri's favor, and you will be decades older by the time you are done with us. Grab your things from your longhouse Tzira and find an empty bunk, I would eat and rest well tonight, girl, for it is one of the last chances you'll get." The woman turned and walked off, this time fully disappearing into the longhouses, Kyllyn following after with a nod of his head and a gleam in his eye.

A strange induction into the military, but it was just the beginning of the trials she would go through. Just the beginning.

oocOne last post and I'll throw up your grade!

Tzira heard the woman speak. It was not the most glorious of ways to introduce some one to the military, but it was also what she expected. After all, its the Myrian military. You don't come here to play games and have parties. You come here to learn how to fight and to give your all for Taloba.

Getting she went back to her own small hut and gathered her things reporting to the longhouses as told. Eating dinner she found herself an empty bunk as told and decided to call it an early night. After all, the women assured her this would be the last time she may get a good nights rest. As such, Tzira decided it was best to make the most of it.

Additional Comments :
A short little introduction into the world Tzira is stepping into as she joins the military! I enjoyed this thread, but would urge you in the future to stick to your skill level when it comes to fighting. Tzira is novice in all of her combat skills, but was observing and using tactics in her battle that she should have little to no knowledge of with her current skill set. Keep in mind that as a novice she is going to fail more than she will succeed, but failing at something will never lose you XP as long as she's trying, just something to consider for the future!

For joining the military under the plot point of military incentives, you will start at the pay of 2 bikka per day (aka 6 GM), and I have added that to your SS thread. Happy soldiering!!
