Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

Tzira awoke to the cooler, but still warmth of the fall air around her. Today was the day she was going to join the Talobian army. Jumping from the bed she darted to her clothes handing on the wire in her and threw on her simple bra and loincloth.

Heart racing from the exictment. She felt as though she was a child again. She just wanted to jump up and down screaming for joy. This exciting moment had finally come, but alas she did none of these things. Instead, she kept her composure and excitement to herself.

Before leaving she walked over to a small stand in her hut. Got down on her knees, closed her eyes, and bowed her head. Paying respect to the goddess queen Myri, Dira the goddess of the dead, and to Miha first daughter of Myri.

"Myri, grant me your strength in the training fields today. My my fist hit hard, and my blade strike true." Mumbled under the breath while she remained bowed. She sat there for a few seconds. Calming her nerves as to not appear a child walking onto the field.

Tzira rose and walked forward from her hut and towards the training grounds. Thee sound of metal ringing against metal. Cries, war screams, and yelling could all be heard at the entrance to the glorious training yard. Many had come here to train improve and better themselves. The large area along followed by the sounds would intimidate most, but Tzira was excited. Combat with someone outside of her clan at last.

Stepping onto the grounds she looked at all the sweat covered Myrians in training. It was an immensely beautiful sight. The way the warriors moved through the air as she watched them practice all sorts of different skills. She step forward into the middle of the grounds. Trying to find someone who she could get training from.

Tzira didn't have long to wait. Idle hands meant one of two things in the Training Yards: New Blood or Leadership, and it was a safe bet on which one the young Myrian was.

"Look, we got ourselves a little girl to play with!" A voice called out from somewhere in the distance, a woman sparring with a male. She twirled away from her opponent, spinning a serrated sword in one hand, a dagger in the other and kicked the male with one of her feet, sending him stumbling backwards with a blow to the gut.

"Tend to her will you Kyllyn? I've got better things to do then clean the dirt out of her scrapes." The female turned and headed toward an opening in the yard, entering a large long house, leaving Tzira with Kyllyn. The male had long hair that hung in thin dreadlocks, at present all of them were knotted up at the back of his neck, one stray strand hiding behind his ear. Dark eyes marked with black dots beneath each lid eyed the girl, and his arm which held a hand axe in it, flexed thoughtfully, right arm almost completely covered with black ink.

"So, New Blood, have a name?" His head cocked to one side and he gestured towards her with an axe.

"We've been getting a lot of folks wanting to re-enlist...but you have that new smell to you, untested...plus you do look like a little girl." He grinned, showing bright white teeth as he waited to see how his insult would sit with her. It was one of the few opportunities male had to lord their position over females...and Kyllyn was going to milk it for all it was worth.

Tzira watched as the man was knocked back by the women. This women then barked orders at the man. Clearly she was the one in charge here. Though she had left for a building on the grounds Tzira was most interested in her. Though to her surprise the man had begun to speak to her as though they were equals.

She looked at the man as the grin on her face fell. Her chance to spar against the head of the grounds was lost and she was left with him. The head's left overs. She irratated and just wanted to exploded into him, but she remember that all strong warriors must keep a level head. Though the man was now insulting her. Telling her she looked untested and like a child. Slowly and surely she glared at him. Not a single blink just that intense stare as she watched his movements. Attempting to anticipate his next move.

Then after watching for a bit she spoke. "I don't have time for scraps. You needn't know my name either." Bluntly and ferociously the words flew from her mouth. Quickly and shortly after she breathed in a deep breath bringing down both of her knees. Her arms came up to a defensive position. Her face bore a slight smirk as her plan had come into mind. She didn't intend for this take very long.

She was ready to fight this Kyllyn man, and she would beat him quickly enough. Moving on to the head of the grounds. This was her plan. After all that simple kick sent him sliding across the ground. Then she could prove her full worth to the Myrian army. She was ready for everything and anything.

Kyllyn rolled his eyes at the haughty female. Typical new bloods, coming in like they owned the place when they rarely knew more than two kinds of weapons and barely anything about holding them, but her gaze was determined, her stance ready for anything, and that was something the male could admire.

"Alright, if you don't have a name I'll just stick with little girl, it seems to suit you." He grinned and charged forward.

His first attack was meant as a trial, to see how she would fare. Tzira held no weapons, and neither did he, his blade in its sheathe upon his belt. He threw a fist forward, straight for the spot in between her arms, wondering if she would catch the blow or use his momentum against him, or even surprise him with an attack of her own. As his right fist sailed toward her, his left curled at the elbow and aimed for the girl's gut.

From the shadows of the training yards, two dark eyes watched the fight with disinterest.

Tzira watched as the man came flying at her. His speed was not something that she had expected. He was not as slow as she had anticipated. His right fist flew to the gap in between her arms. While not skilled greatly at unarmed combat she did understand the basics to using an opponents force against them.

She quickly moved her left arm around her opponents right arm guiding his fist under her arm pit. Using his fist as leverage she quickly boosted her self off the ground bringing her right leg up to hit her opponents left shoulder. While at the same time she brought her right hand downward to catch the upward punch coming from her opponents left fist. She knew he had strength over her. So she decided it would be best to be more agile than he.

While not entirely skilled in this technique she figured she could give it a shot. While her right leg was aiming to kick her opponents left shoulder. She threw back her weight trying to use the momentum of her opponents attack against him. His right arm under her left arm. She was trying to flip him over. Though having just learned something like this she was certain it wouldn't work, but she figured it was worth a shot. In the end her momentum of swinging to the left, and his force behind his right fist should be enough to force it to succeed or so she had hoped.

Kyllyn's eyes widened in some surprise. She watched his attacks and tried to handle them accordingly. Getting his arm under hers, reaching out to block his punch, and using his own speed and strength against him.

Trouble was, it didn't quite go the way she was planning. Tzira's motions were almost enough, and the male did go up over her head, but latched onto her arm with both hands, so as he flipped over her body they both came crashing to the ground upon their backs. The air knocked form Kyllyn's throat he dragged his arms out of Tzira's grasp and sat up, coughing, a sound which turned into a chuckle.

"I'd recommend trying that move on someone closer to your size before doing it on me..."

Leaping up to his feet with an easy lunge, Kyllyn walked over to a rack of wooden training weapons.

"So you're alright with your hands, lets see what you can do with something in em'."

The male grabbed up a carved machete and returned to the spot they had been before, beckoning Tzira to make the first move this time as he held the blade horizontally, one hand upon the hilt the other pinching the blade and placing it a couple feet in front of his chest.

In the end the move failed though Tzira did expect as much. She was slammed into the ground next to Kyllyn. The wind knocked out of her. She sat up breathed for a second and listened to him speak about using the move on someone her own size to start. It was sound advised and not ill place, but she had already expected it to fail. So this wasn't news to her ears.

Then Kyllyn spoke of fighting with something in your hand. As he walked over to a rack of wooden training weapons. Tzira followed him to the racks. As she browsed through them trying to find something she was familiar with. She spotted what could somewhat be recognized as a wooden snake spear. This was in skill set.

Walking over to the weapon she grabbed it and turned around to see Kyllyn standing ready for her attack.

"I'd hate to keep you waiting." Chuckling as she spoke she readied her weapon.

Tzira charged at her opponent with the spear head in front of her. As she neared her foe she shot it forward with a simple, but hasty motion. Quickly she spun dropping her knees and bringing the spear down at her opponents knee caps. She intended to hopefully avoid the weapon he garnered in his hands at all costs.

Kyllyn admired the spear the girl chose for a moment, the waving top of which he did not know its name. One of his feet slid back through the dirt, knees bending ever so slightly in preparation for her assault.

As Tzira launched her two point attack, Kyllyn watched her carefully. The first stab he knocked aside with the flat of the machete, watching her spin and come again for his knees. Though he jumped back out of the way of the brunt of the damage, his knee still stung from where the wooden spear head smacked against it, not entirely able to avoid the blow.

"Quick, short attacks, good, now what do you do when distance isn't on your side?" He spun the machete easily in one hand, clearly contemplating what to do next, then without warning-

The male lunged forward, spinning to avoid the spear head and closing the gap between he and Tzira, his right foot looking to stomp down upon her left, and his hand swinging the machete towards her hip, looking to land a dull, but painful blow at her exposed side, wondering how she would counter with the longer weapon.

The man lunged forward spinning to avoid the head of the spear held in Tzira's hand. She watched him closely to attempt to figure out his plotted course. Suddenly she noticed him trying to stomp on her foot more than likely to prevent her movement giving him the advantage, or so he could believe. The spear which does have advantage in range over a sword can be used at a closer range as well.

Tzira slightly slid her left foot while twisting her body. Kyllyn would come down and slip past her foot. Then she noticed the machete coming at her exposed side. Quickly she switched hands with the hilt of spear pulling it back to her elbow and hip. Twisting her body and using the hilt of the spear to aid in blocking the Machete. The weapon would grace her flesh with a blow though it would be weakened due to the hilt of the spear and the positioning.

Using her opponents attack against him during Tzira twist she would be the head of the spear sailing towards her opponents head. True it was not a smart idea in combat to do what she did. Allowing herself to get hit in order to hit the enemy, but she knew that dodging it wasn't an option. She wasn't fast enough so this was her second best option. Grunting as Kyllyn blow would hit her flesh. She had to grin and bear the pain. For he could not stay there long with the spear head sailing towards his own head.

She countered part of his attack, but was not adept enough to fully turn his assault away, a smile slid across Kyllyn's lips as the flat of his blade struck bone, hearing the girl grunt. His attack was successful, the girl was injured and he had all the time in the world t-

"Petching Tskanna balls!" His head twisted to avoid the attack, hps twisting, feet splayed, but he still received a major blow to the skull. Kyllyn reeled back, one hand clutching his head, the other curling tightly around the machete.

The male took a moment to collect himself, breathing in deeply, one hand pressed to his forehead where the source of the pain emanated from, cursing under his breath. It would seem he was a weak opponent, as easy to best as Tzira anticipated....

Until without warning, the male set into a charge, a snarl coming out of his throat as he bull rushed the Myrian female, his head aiming straight for her stomach, the full weight of the charge behind the attack.

A figure smiled in the shadows.
