Ever since she was a youngling, Aka had always felt she was more detached to the Dhani's patron Goddess compared to her siblings, friends, and family. Most of the Dhani in her nest bore the gnosis mark of Siku, The Serpent Queen, while she didn't. It had always been a mystery to her, why? Was it something she did? Was it something her parent's did? She didn't know, but it was clear she was not favored by the Goddess-Queen of Dhanis or at least, not significant enough for Siku to grant her rightful birth mark.
Due to her time spent travelling with Galbern, her mentor, for years, Aka had learn some knowledge about the various Gods and Goddesses of Mizahar. Most notably being Uldr, God of Undead, as Galbern was a Nuit. She also heard about Sylir, Yahal, Priskil, Rhysol and... Ivak. She mused to Galbern once regarding her natural affinity to the element of fire that maybe she was actually a child of Ivak, not Siku. Galbern, being the stoic Nuit he was, merely nodded and said "Sure, Aka".
However, life had taken an interesting turn for the Viper. She was saved by certain death from severe overgiving by the God of Flames himself, his flaming form appeared before her as she lay dying after fatally exerting herself in her temper tantrum. He touched her... his hand brushed against her shoulder and it shook the Viper to her very core, for the moment, she felt as if her cold-blooded body was replaced by lava. Ever since then, she acquired a new strange power, she became immune to the harming property of fire, both from herself and others. A mark of twin swirling flames were permanently emblazoned on her left shoulder blades, evidence of Ivak's fiery touch.
Now, The Dhani in human form found herself sitting alone near the top of an active volcano, the beautiful magma spewing from the bowels of the planet. She didn't know how she got there and she didn't remember either, perhaps it was Ivak's meddling? Perhaps the God wanted to show her where he lived? She didn't find it strange, he said he would be watching her after all. Deciding that Ivak would show himself sooner or later, Aka sat there, wearing her usual simple black dress held by a red sash, her long ebony locks tied into their trademark twintails. Scarlet slitted eyes staring into the horizon.
