Nilika pulled the reins of her horse forward. She need to restock on supplies; unfortunately Syliras didn't have the items she needed to cook with. Well at least that's half of what she's doing. Stepping over branches and tearing through bushes she finally found the place where the item she needed laid at.

Nilika looked all around her checking for dangers of all sorts. Putting her gloves on, she rubbed her horse's, Henry, mane. She longed to touch and feel another. Making sure Henry stayed and was in a conformable area, she slowly walked to it. It was a small little, gold box. She was quite surprised by it being undisturbed. The Konti pulled out a letter.

Dear Nilika,
There's a gold box in Bronze Woods in the Sylira Region. It's very important that you find this box and bury it under the place it's at. I know you're probably asking why didn't I bury it? Well, I kind of forgot until I realized you were in Syliras. Anyway bury and make sure no one gets their hands on it.
Love, N'Fisa

Nilika put it away and started to dig a hole with her hands.

A fall’s day cannot compare to a summers evening—yet both are beautiful.

Noaru traveled down a lonesome dirt path with a grin; he’d just recovered a huge portion of his memories and despite what memories he has lost, his name and others, it was worth it. Those years of aimlessly wandering were finally over, he could start again—a new beginning was ahead. The spirit raised his right hand above his face and looks into his palm, as the sunlight shines onto him. Noaru couldn’t understand why he had taken on a human form while concealing himself; he would appear as a shadow without a body, should the sunlight shine on him while he’s near a surface.

Noaru didn’t focus on this too much, he was finally a free man! Well, a free spirit, he wouldn’t consider what he was, as something close to the children of the living—humanity and the like. Noaru wondered what he truly was, he has always called himself a spirit and yet now...that doesn’t seem to clarify his existence anymore. Noaru hears the shuffling of dirt which captures his attention and disrupts his thoughts, momentarily distracting Noaru from his age old question.

This is a strange sight...

Noaru witnesses a girl with pure white hair, tearing through the dirt. This looked rather odd to Noaru yet he saw this as an opportunity to help out a soul in possible need. The spirit had a sinister grin on his face, once he notices a hare, watching Nilika. The hare couldn’t see Noaru but he sure could feel him...watching.

Noaru vanishes and reappears in front of the wild-animal, giving it no time to flee. He quickly overtakes the creature, his soulmist enveloping the body of a thrashing rabbit. The spirit waits for the rabbit to lose all its strength before he takes complete control. A chimes passes before Noaru grasps the understanding of having fours legs, he awkwardly moves a leg—one after another before finally getting the rhythm right.

Noaru pretends to be a hare using the hare’s body for his deceptive antics. The spirit stares through the hares eyes, displaying an innocence that only this creature could. He hops through the tree line and approaches Nilika.

Nilika took off her gloves and took a deep breath. This was harder than she thought. Taking off her gloves, she laid down in the grass. There were wild flowers all around. Maybe a nap should do.

Before she could even close her eyes, she heard something coming towards. The first thing she did was get into fighting position and took out her suvai. It was nothing but a hare. Well that was kind of embarrassing. The Konti got up and went to Henry. He shuffled a little. He didn't stop staring at the hare. Nilika pulled out a piece of salad from her bag.

Did hares eat salad?

Oh well. She walked towards and put her hand out with the salad.

This girl isn’t a spiritist.

Noaru chuckled within the hares body and mind. The spirit got a perfect image of the girl now, this person was a konti. Noaru carelessly hops over to Nilika and takes a hold of the lettuce; he had the hare chew the lettuce on its own, as the little animal felt hungry. The spirit looks up to Nilika with innocent eyes; deceiving eyes that hid the spirit within the wild-animal. The hare's despair was apparent, he was upset by what Noaru was doing but couldn't do anything—not even struggle.

Noaru believed he could maintain his charade of deception for a decent period of time. He was certain the hare would not enjoy having his body manipulated by some random entity either. Noaru hops over to the area Nilika was trying to make a hole in and starts to dig, he burrows into the earth with his claws separating the earth.

Dig, dig you rodent! Hahahahahaaa!

Seeing the rabbit bite the salad, the young girl's face lit up. After the rabbit finished, Nilika stood back up. She walked towards the hole to dig. The hare was already digging away at it. The hole got bigger and bigger as it dug. Why is it digging?

"Grandma N'Fisa what's that," asked a 5 year old Nilika. The child was pointing at a drawing. N'fisa smiled and said it was a hare. "A hare is like a rabbit you could say. It digs borrows, borrows so that it can live in them."

Nilkia smiled at the memory. It was one was of those rare moment that her grandma decided to come home for a while. She looked back the hare. It can't make it's home there; the box needed to be there.

Carefully coming up behind it, she grabbed it and lifted it up. As she lifted it up a wave of sadness swam through her. The young Konti froze in spot from it.

I’ll tell you something hare. That life can be bitter... like a poison. The very essence of it, kills individuals who sees it as but a fleeting moment—a mere illusion.

Noaru observes the situation from the hare’s eyes; he could tell that she was lifting him off the ground. The ground was getting further and further away until he stops. Noaru could not see Nilika; his only option was to act natural, if he wanted to avoid being detected. The spirit forces the hare to struggle and free itself from Nilika’s grasp, it drops to the ground on all fours and turns to face Nilika.

This young lady, does she know something?

Noaru scrutinized Nilika, the young konti, and his efforts to sense her were futile. Noaru hated this flaw of possession; he could control the body of his host and sense the various emotions and thoughts that were present but his senses would be severed from the outside world. The spirit controls his frustration and focuses on the task at hand—being a hare. Noaru moves the hare’s body and forces it to playfully run around a bit...in order to tire the animal.

Tears rolled down her pale face. All that sadness from the hare stayed with her. Nilika dropped down to her knees. Why was the rabbit so sad and upset?

She covered her mouth as a way to silence the sobs. She forgot all about her gloves. Rushing to go get them, she tripped over a rock. Her right knee was bleeding, but she didn't care. She needed her gloves. The gloves was nothing but leather. But to Nilika, it made her think that all the pain was gone. Putting on the black leather gloves, one could see her face visibly relaxing.

She calmed down for a bit before seeing the rabbit play around. Why was it playing if has that much sadness? Something was not right with this hare. It would have been have ran off earlier, especially after she disturbed it. Nilika careful came towards it. It was hiding something behind those sad eyes, and she was going to find out what it is.

I feel as though this young lady, may be up to something.

Noaru could see the strangeness of this young konti—what was she doing? Noaru cringes as he watched Nilika fall to the ground and scrape her knee. That must’ve hurt because even the hare felt a little worried for Nilika, as he and Noaru witness a tear falling down her cheek. The spirit didn’t know what significance those black gloves had but he noticed they calmed her in some way; it must be an item of importance, or personal value.

Hmm...

The hare’s eyes squint suspiciously. Noaru watches through them while controlling the creatures every movement. Noaru was still, he wanted to see the magnitude of Nilika’s strangeness, as he was sure there was something behind that expression she made earlier when she touched the hares body. The spirit had no ulterior motive besides possessing this hare and using it to help Nilika, he didn’t want to exhaust the creature to the point of death—he would need to leave this body soon.

Nilika stopped and blushed. she was over thinking about this. The poor thing was probably upset that he couldn't make his home. The youngster kneeled, just now noticing the pain in her knee, to put her hand out towards the hare. She smiled at the hare. "It's okay i'm just being suspicious for no reason," she giggled.

Now that she thought about it, maybe the hare was helping her dig. She did sense something while she was digging, choosing to not pay attention to it.

To be sure, she concentrated on the hare's chavi. Sweat appeared her smooth pale skin. She hasn't really down this a lot. Maybe once or twice, but right now she needed to know. She didn't like being the dark about things.

What is she doing?

Noaru was beginning to suspect less from Nilika: maybe, this konti was just weird? Noaru believed he was close to being right; it was weird for someone to focus this hard on an animal. In his observation, Noaru could see tendrils of sweat trickling down Nilika’s forehead, was she concentrating? The spirit couldn’t understand the weirdness of the young konti; he has the hare lay its body onto the ground and rest. Noaru believed this was the least he could do, he did posses the wild-creature with the intention to deceive someone.

The hare seemed to appreciate this, as it shows no resistance in the moment Noaru manipulates its body. Noaru did not take his eyes off of the young konti; though he was less suspicious of her, he was sure that she was up to something. The spirit did not wish to miss a single detail; if something should change about Nilika...he wouldn’t miss it. Noaru knew his host couldn’t afford a stand-off; he didn’t want to be loafing around inside the mind of a hare.

I understand that you don’t enjoy the idea of me possessing you.

The hare displayed his dislike towards Noaru with sheer-emotion; he didn’t speak to the spirit. Noaru was sure that his host wasn’t aware of the unique communicate skills and empathy that this shared and present when being possessed by an ethereal. Noaru suspected much, it was just a simple beast and not a kelvic. Though, he has never come to understand the nature of Kelvic’s, he knew to a degree how fundamentally different they were compared to simple animals living in the wilderness. Noaru could only think of Ama when it came to Kelvic’s and the fox kelvic in the Wildlands.

I wonder what that kelvic’s been up to.
