"My mother, Dira keep her, managed my three brothers an' I an' a job with a grace I'll forever aspire to." Hadyn smiled brightly, tilting her head to look at the blonde. Surprisingly this was the first time since Liam's birth anyone had inquired about Marnie Skellig. Most of the brunette's life revolved around her brothers, both her parents absent from her childhood while they worked to sustain their family. Often Hadyn regretted not having the opportunity to spend more time with her mother. But she tried not to dwell on the past - it served no rational function. The weaponsmith's smile grew when Wanda commented on her child being a girl.
"Not sure the city could handle another trouble maker like me," she winked at the girl.
Liam was clearly enjoying himself, though he occasionally turned to look at Hadyn, blue eyes widening to see his mother suddenly appear again. The brunette reached a hand out to settle a strand of his dark hair beneath the cap. He looked so much like Orion it was astonishing. While his cornflower blue eyes hadn't surprised her (for the middle Skellig brother possessed azure eyes), the intensity of his gaze and the brightness of his irises often caught her off guard. Returning her attention to the masseuse Hadyn nodded.
"Course. Thank you for your time." Standing the woman smiled appreciatively. "I usually leave payment at the desk for Viola. D'you want it now or should I drop it off before I go?"
As she spoke she gathered the scarf and began folding it up to wrap the baby in. Leaning down she ran a hand across Liam's arm, drawing his attention to her. The newborn smiled and grabbed for his own toes gleefully, looking between the two women with happy chirps. Glancing at Wanda the brunette grinned, tucking a loose strand behind her ear.
"A lady killer, isn't he?"
