Not sure if I'm in the right place but I think it would be cool if there was a list of online user and then a list of users online in your city.

Each city has a character registry that lists the players present in that city each season :)

I guess it will simply take some skill in maneuvering two tabs. Near the bottom, right-hand side of the forum home page, you can see who is online on Mizahar. Next, simply open the Character Registry for your City and coordinate the names! Then, you'll be able to see who is online for your location.

But I am on a tablet, It takes a long time to even get through usernames that are online to see if they're in one of the cities I am in... It's very tedious but as a coder myself and a video game designer.... I realize this would take a lot of work to do and therefore I see this post as rude and feel ashamed... v_v

I know it may seem daunting when you first join to make those initial connections with fellow city goers, but creating open threads, sending PMs to those writers you feel you can bond or write well with, or simply applying at the matchmaker and waiting for responses from each inidividual is often a better way to go than attempting to only catch writers that are online.

I've done all this over two characters and have only gotten a few threads, I had been waiting days to rp it seemed when Ollic and at least two others responded. It's troubling and now I need to make a solo and Job thread and I'm just blanking out... sigh.

Nothing is wrong with dipping your toes in and completing solos; especially considering job threads need to be completed each season. A few days isn't that long of a wait as people are often busy with real life outside of the forum. Patience and understanding of this is very important.

I try, I try but when it's almost a week I grow tired of waiting...

A week really isn't that long of a time, dear. You can't force people to post and really, you shouldn't want to. Anyways, I hope I answered your wish successfully and that you have a good evening.
