Spring 16, 514 Leti's back was throbbing from a long day of training. Ser Ranqor was too busy to provide her with any studies, so she stayed at the Training Grounds for a lot longer than normal. She didn't regret the additional training, but her body was sure complaining. After having dropped off her gear and armor in her dorm, she decided that she wanted to get cleaned up and relaxed before she got something to eat. So tiredly, she trudged toward Soothing Waters on the Third Tier. Slowly climbing down the stairs, she ordered laundry and a towel for the baths. After stripping off her sweaty clothes, she wrapped her towel around her form, and made her way to the bathing pool. She saw Ser Lanning Shelton over off the side of the pool, practicing his trade craft known as yoga. She'd taken an interest in it a few days past, and had thoroughly enjoyed it. Smiling, she strolled over to him, "Mind if I join you?" He looked up at her and simply smiled. She dropped her towel to the ground, and sat down across from him so she could watch his positions. He looked up and reset the position so he could show her how to achieve it properly. Watching him, she mimicked carefully, starting with pulling her knees to her chest. She then relaxed her knees out to the side of her, gently pressing the bottoms of her feet together. She then grasped her hands onto her ankles. Leaning forward slightly, feeling her hips beneath her bottom shift until she was in the most comfortable position. This allowed her hands to grasp her feet now. She closed her eyes and tried to relax, focusing on her breathing. In through her nose, out through her mouth, keeping her mind on the muscles that worked her lungs. After several minutes in this relaxing position, she heard Ser Lanning shift. She opened her eyes, and saw him beginning a new position. He shifted his legs together to be stretched out in front of him. He then leaned forward at his stomach, and was able to grasp his feet, his knees not bending in the least. Leti tried this, but found the muscles behind her knees pulling, forcing her to bend them a little. She leaned forward, able to grasp her ankles, and held this, breathing in, breathing out. The second pose completed, she decided to take a dip into the pool. She thanked Ser Lanning, then slipped into the warm embrace of the water. She tread there, enjoying the relaxing trance she was falling under. She could feel all of her worries slowly floating away. |
