Threading in Nyka for Spring 514 AV (Need archery lessons!)

Threading in Nyka for Spring 514 AV!

Hi there! I'm looking for threading partners for a bit of Springtime fun in Nyka. While I'm open to roleplaying anything (from completely social to doing some fishing in a pond!), I am specifically looking for the following types of threads:

→ Training/sparring threads (for sword fighting)
→ Teaching threads (for horseback riding, wilderness survival, or archery)
→ Tour threads (I need some people to show me around Nyka!)

Sigrun will be leaving Syliras sometime on the 15th of Spring, making her arrival to Nyka sometime past the 60th. Just shoot me a PM or respond to this thread if you're interested!

If anyone's in Syliras before Sigrun's departure, I'd be glad to thread as well. Just the same, I'm open to roleplaying anything, but I'm hoping to do some of the threads above!

Hmmm... Well, I have yet to decide for sure if I am going to have Bones be active or not for Spring, but if he is he will be in Nyka. Bones is a fighting teacher at the Iron Fist just outside of town, so he could probably assist with the training thread for sword fighting. Of course, before he can give her a lesson, she would need to pass the test... But if I can go ahead and figure out two different job threads, that would make me lean more towards making him active. Though I must ask, what type of sword? From your skills I would assume cutlass, but just wanted to make sure that is what you meant. He could also assist you with some unarmed fighting skills, such as brawling that you have a few points in, since Bones has xp in more or less every type of weaponless combat. Though his main skills are unarmed combat and the gladius. If nothing else, Bones will likely try to indoctrinate you into his belief that everyone should be decent without a weapon, if nothing else as a support skill, or to aid you if someone knocks the weapon out of your hand.

Yes, I would like Sigrun to train in wielding her cutlass, and that can be achieved with a bit of sparring, which she could do with Bones and his gladius.

Apart from that, I would very much like for him to influence her on his belief that people must be able to defend or attack whilst weaponless! Perhaps if with a bit of convincing, he could help her improve her brawling and learn more unarmed fighting skills, if you're interested.
