Adi.

The woman was held in his embrace, having just agreed to have him guide her back to an inn that he remembered by name. Just a few days before, in fact, he had paid the place a visit, thrown out in the midst of a brawl that, in truth, Kel and Adney were far more involved in than himself. And, he was grateful for that, for that would allow him the anonymity to take the woman into her room so long as he didn't make a scene. Which, in his pursuit for a night of distraction, was no longer necessary. Usually, he would cause the ruckus willingly and strew about chaos and revelry in the attempt of digging out amusement, but Adi, with the promises a night with the delightful Vantha promised, kept him out of causing yet another ruckus.

The ship was a way's behind, Tydus leaving Kel to its supervision, leaving Adney to his own devices for the night as the promise of a woman and a bed to share with her became all the more real. He answered her innuendo with a knowing shrug, winking at her before they stumbled through the city of Riverfall, searching out the Kulkulkan Tavern and reaching the staircase.

The stairs felt as if they were smeared with oil, slick and slippery though they were likely neither of the sort. The Tempest scion was compelled to continue holding onto the woman's waist at all times, a measure of support so much as intimacy, though the former cause sprung a number of inhabitants of the bar to begin speaking quietly among themselves. The Svefra held one hand onto the woman's wrist to keep her close, the other onto the railing that was set with the stairs, a steady climb bringing them, after a chime or so, up to the last step of the obstacle course that was the staircase.

There was an expanse of wall available as the two climbed atop the stairs, Tydus gently turning the woman in his grasp so she faced him, the Tempest pressing his lips to hers, unable to wait entirely until they entered the room to begin their night. If she accepted the kiss, his lips would press into hers, then upwards to part them, his tongue flicking gently along hers before he would pull away, a wink flashed at the woman as he pulled her along with him.

The Svefra motioned to the variety of rooms, each one locked with a key and waiting for their patronage to inhabit it. The Tempest had no idea where to go from here, looking to the woman as he asked, "Lass, which... room?"

The trip from the docks to the inn was far too long for Adi's taste, taking them halfway across the city. Far too many people would have seen her stumble and laugh, all the while practically joined at the hip to a Svefran sailor she'd met only that day. This second thought hardly even bothered the dominant part of her mind, inebriated as she was. What did bother her was the lack of privacy public streets held, along with the distance to her room at the inn. It was a nice enough place, a good-quality inn at a good price. Only five silver mizas had left her pocket in exchange for a night in a small but nice room. That small room was all Adi thought she would need this morning. Y'were wrong then, Adi! Hah...got a man now, 'n you didn't earlier...

She clung onto the tall sailor for dear life as the pair stumbled into the inn and past the patrons enjoying food and drink. Had she not been with Tydus, she would have done the same as them and enjoyed a warm meal. Traveling rations weren't of the best quality or flavor and they didn't come warm or with a good beverage. She made a note to take advantage of the menu tomorrow morning. Tonight, though, she had a different kind of taking advantage in mind.

Adi had as much difficulty as her male companion did in staggering up the stairs. Trying to walk up these stairs felt just like trying to take a stroll across the frozen waters of Avanthal without the aid of spiked boots. It took almost two full chimes to ascend the stairs. At least neither of them had fallen. That would have set them back a great deal more.

Upon reaching the top, she paused to savor the minor victory. Stairs'r a mount'n, n'Ty n'I've climbed it. He surprised her then by gently turning her-she surprised herself by not toppling over-to face him. And suddenly he was kissing her, and she was kissing him back. Adi didn't need Tydus to part her lips for her, an action she performed most enthusiastically. When their mouths parted, she smiled in response to his wink.

It was Adi herself who took the lead then, pulling a key to her room from her backpack. She took a moment to switch the key to her right hand, then used her left to tug the sea-faring Svefra to a room she'd only briefly stepped in earlier. The sheets on the bed were still wrinkled from where she'd briefly plopped down on them to test the bed, making sure it was up to her standards. When it had been, she'd left to lead Myaris to stables. My'ris...shyke. Ah well...she'll be patient wi' me until t'morrow... Her key unlocked the door to her room. A triumphant grin spread across her face as she nudged the door open and slipped inside, leaving it open for Tydus to enter if he pleased.

[Kulkulkan Inn] Delights of Intoxication (Adi)

The room was a decent one. It was small in comparison to the rooms Adney and him had stayed in before Kel had dropped in with his ship and offered him sanctuary within the casinor, but the Svefra didn't mind in the slightest. He was used to smaller places, living on rooms in ships his entire life, comfortable around the wooden walls and unstable terrain of a ship's deck. This, was far more comfortable for him, and it had little to do with the stable floors.

He stepped in behind the woman, his gaze doing the obligatory once-over of the room, though with the exception of windows and the bed, he saw very little of immediate interest. And so, the bed was given a fair amount of his attention. The Tempest scion had a sudden desire to jump on it, to test if it were truly as smooth and comfortable as it looked, but then, he'd be inclined to sleep, and such an inclination was nothing more than the enemy to be vanquished. Conquest had won every other enemy this day, and by no means was it to lose against Tydus himself.

First, Tydus reached to remove the scabbard that held Tatianna's cutlass to his sash, placing it upon the room's only table. After, the sash itself was removed from his waist, the Svefra teasingly wrapping it around her neck once before he tossed it to the table, as well. He winked at the woman before decided to reach out to her again, gently tugging on her hand to bring her forward once again before leaning his body backwards so that he fell upon the straw mattress. Tydus tugged on the woman's arm again, encouraging her to do as he did, to fall onto the bed with them so that their night together could approach the inevitable and desirable end.

The Svefra's heart was pacing in his chest as adrenal response kicked in. The blurred edges of his sight, introduced by the alcohol he so diligently consumed, was beginning to fade. Tydus removed the gloves that he wore, throwing them to the side of the bed along with his sandals, looking up at the room's ceiling before casting a sidelong gaze at Adi. His mind told him it was time to make the first move, and so he did. He pressed forward to her to kiss her again, eagerness baiting his breath as he sought to cement his victory.

OOCJust so you know, this is me giving you permission to assume Adi's completely and totally on board with this. Feel free to tug her or kiss her or whatever you feel the need to do, and assume she'll go along with it.

She watched Tydus with interest while he took off his cutlass and sash, curious how the sword itself worked compared to the daggers she preferred. His weapon didn't seem like something he'd own, though Adi didn't exactly know him well enough to put her finger on why. She supposed it might be a hand-me-down or a family heirloom. Somethin' pers'nul for sure...

It occurred to her then that she needed to get the excess clothing as far away from her body as she possibly could.

So she slipped the backpack off her shoulders and set it on the floor leaning up against the wall. Turning her back to Tydus-for modesty was still important-Adi used her left hand to slide the simple white pants she wore off her legs. It was an awkward process-thankfully, she managed to keep her balance. Then came her boots, which were worn almost through the soles. Those she kicked off her feet with ease. Last was her shirt, simple white cotton to match her pants. Getting her shirt off with only her left hand had been more of a struggle. After a chime's time, she brushed the hair out of her face and turned around to face the Svefran sailor.

He took her arm and tugged her onto her rented straw mattress. She collapsed on the bed next to him, her heart pounding with excitement. When his lips pressed to hers, a jolt shot through her body. Adi opened her lips to his own, tongue darting out of her mouth to lick at his lower lip. Kissing was a relatively new experience for her, and as such she was messy. Oops, she thought as she pulled away for a brief moment to swipe at her mouth with her left arm. Said arm came away wet with her saliva. Adi let out a brief laugh before returning her lips to Ty's own.

The faintest of hums escaped the Svefra's lips as he watched the Vantha turn around, a smirk gracing his features. The concept of modesty was foreign to the Svefra, his culture and the way of life that they adopted often included being nude, and what others considered vulgar. In his adolescence and early adulthood, the Tempest had taken on lovers, within the Pod, outside of it, and there was nothing to feel shame about. Nothing to hide, for at day's end, the body was merely a shell, a vehicle of movement and pleasure that the mind could not experience alone. A vase that held the aspects of sensation. A beautiful one, in the Vantha's case.

The Tempest could not help but allow his gaze to follow the curvature of her form, along the arms first before moving inward to trace the subtle outline of her spine, lowering to her waist and hips just before he turned.

When the woman was finally on the bed, her lips pressed to his, he chuckled inwardly again. She was eager, willing to explore him and their encounter. He noted it as her tongue slid along his lower lip, though when she pulled away, the Svefra could feel the saliva on his lips. He could identify with the inexperience, and he understood it, not blaming her as he moved to clean his own lips, chuckling as she laughed, as well. The woman then came forward of her own volition, lips pressing to his in a light kiss, but Tydus had no intention of keeping it so. When she pressed against him, the Tempest scion's arm moved to traverse the expanse of flesh that he was given access to.

He began at her cheek, the pads of his fingers moving along the flesh before he moved down to her neck. Fingers gently pressed against her pulse, the beat of her heart felt at the skin before he traversed his fingertips along her shoulder. The path slowly lowered, fingers pressed against the Vantha's breasts, hands at her sides, his body moved forward so less than six inches separated their forms as he parted her lips with his own. His tongue flicked forward into Adi's mouth, coaxing hers into movement with his rather than against, which in his drunken opinion, was what had caused her to salivate in the first place. His eyes were closed, the Svefra allowing his senses to take control of him, to guide him in his venture along the woman's body.

The night was theirs and Tydus had all of it to enjoy his own pleasure, but he was to guide the woman he spent it with, who had likely never spent an evening with a man, through it. Tydus' mindset was locked in the matriarchy of the Svefra culture, but he also made an exception. Women ruled over the day and the ship. Men ruled over the night and the bed. It was, after all, equivalent exchange.

A shiver ran down the Vantha's spine as Tydus' hands explored her body. This was truly the farthest she'd ever gone with another man, especially since Drasna's idea of romance had been pinning her up against a wall and roughly groping her while stuffing his tongue in her mouth. This, with Ty, was much better. More gentle, yet more passionate at the same time-and all they were doing was kissing. Horizontal kissing, yes, but it was still only kissing. While she pondered this, she put her own good hand to work, tracing the Svefra's jawline with two fingers from one ear all the way to his other. She found herself playing with the same few strands of hair, her attention elsewhere.

Where exactly was it? Tydus. She found him to be completely worth her full attention, as he was a master with his lips and tongue. The sensation of her tongue touching his was...odd, at first, though it was one she quickly got used to. It was personal and intimate and after she'd adjusted to it, it was nice.

His hands, rough from years of use at sea, surprised her when she felt somewhat unexpected contact on her breasts. A small gasp slipped from her lips. Though it was unexpected, it wasn't unwelcome. The pressure he applied to her sensitive breasts was done so with an expert hand and a firm but gentle touch she found herself craving more of. Driven by lust and an instinct that never had the chance to surface, Adi pressed herself closer to him. Her left hand slid down, caressing his shoulder then squeezing it gently. She then returned her hand to his hair, thoroughly mussed by this point, and tangled her fingers in the short blond strands which rested on the back of his head. His hair was so different from Drasna's. Her former suitor took great pains to take care of his hair, which was thick and black. The aurora that dwelled on his head was green and gold, very loud in its color. It served as a declaration of his offensive personality in Adi's opinion.

But it wasn't even his hair which held the most interest for her. That dubious honor went to his eyes, which he currently had shut. Hers, pink and silver, scrutinized his eyelids and eyelashes. She hoped to get a glance at the eyes hidden behind them, eyes Adi could swear held the power of the oceans that built Morwen's ice. Power and emotion were there. Emotion she couldn't see or truly detect, but emotion hidden behind thick walls. These were walls she recognized, having built the same ones around her own conciousness.

It would be a lucky person who broke the walls that contained him.

Despite the closeness he and the woman shared by means of physical embrace and touch, there was a wall that divided them. Cold and high as the walls of the icy city that the Vantha presumably came from, the bridges drawn up and nailed in, there was little hope of traversing it. He preferred it this way, to keep those away. It was far safer, for the woman in front of him, though more so for Tydus himself, that there was distance. Emotionally, Tydus was asunder, torn by shipwreck and the loss of what may have been, what was, and what is, Tydus was detached, even from himself. The caring personality that Tatianna had pulled from the depths of a heart shattered by the woman's declaration years past was gone again with her death. And what was left was the very same as what had been before.

A lover of many, yet the lover of none. The paramour, the businessman. He had known himself as both of these, but he had been pulled from the former by love, then thrust back into it by grief. The latter was a crutch and a means of redemption that he did not desire. It was a difficult task, but it seemed that at least his body, and his drunken mind, remembered, even if when sober, he was not aware. The encounters he had with the women at winter's end had shown him this. Drunk, he succeeded in his endeavor, though sober and tipsy, he received nothing more than a slap in the face and a loud, rude eviction from his place of residence for all of three days.

Tonight, however, was a different thing altogether. He held this woman, this Vantha called Adi in his embrace. When the Svefra opened his eyes, he found her staring upon him, her eyes a silvery pink that he had not yet seen before, and for a moment, he was transfixed. It was peculiar, astounding in a way. He found it appealing at a visceral level, feeling a sort of excitement abound in them, which was reflected in the woman's face. A grin curled upon his features before he allowed his lips to traverse along the surface of the woman's jaw, lowering to press into her neck as his hands pressed into her breasts. Fingers then curled around her sides, spanning against the frame of the woman's lithe form before settling upon her waist just as his lips pressed to her pulse.

He found that his heart had begun to pound in his chest, the scent of the woman's form wafted through his nostrils, the proximity of her body triggering a warmth in him. He found the content that she was experiencing in his own mind, yet there was an anxiety beneath the surface of it. A scratching against the cold metal bars of the prison of the past, approaching, encroaching, suffocating. Until, he found himself within the cell again. His escape was before him, waiting, feeling, wanting. And Tydus was to give it to her. He realized that he has made a small distance between his lips and her neck, then approached again, eager to break his momentary hesitance and claim his prize.

Fingers moved along Adi's waist, trailing lower, a slow, delicate touch pressing into the flesh of her right thigh, moving closer still as the Svefra leaned in to her to press his lips to her neck once again. His fingers slowly drove the woman's thighs apart, trailing along her inner thigh, a meticulous, calculating sort of movement just as he approached her sex. His lips moved from her neck to press to hers as he moved his hand higher.

D'ya feel that, Adi? Feel all'f this? Or's that just yer heart projectin' thoughts t'yer head? He don't care 'boutcha, Adi...'n'ya don't care 'bout 'im...this is just a'scape from daily life'r ya both 'n it means nothin'. Never will. 'S all men'r good'fer...int'macy n kidmakin' n'it's all they want from ya. Y'don't get 'tached anymore, Adi, kay? Yer not good enough ta be loved. Maybe y'were once, but Dras ruined ya. Worthless t'everyone but'im cause ya can have 'is kids. Don't matter if y'want'em or not...isn't an Ak'lak n'Riverfall who'd take ya as his Nak'vak. Useless piece'f shyke Vantha.

Thankfully, the woman didn't have much time to continue down that train of thought-because suddenly she felt his hand on her thigh, rough skin brushing her soft legs and gods above!

With an intense shudder, a breath of air shook from her lips in a wordless expression of pleasure. She pressed herself closer still to her Svefran partner, a feat she hadn't thought possible moments before. Adi's mind and body thrummed with excitement-the feeling was rapidly transforming her from an intoxicated virgin with a head full of stones to an instrument of many strings, played by emotions alone.

Had Adi felt able to speak, she wouldn't have actually said anything. The sensation of pleasure unexperienced before that moment rushing through her system served as an effective gag. It was then Adi knew intimate contact was something she would never forget or lose interest in. This was incredible!

The outside world and everything that was a part of it seemed unimportant to young Adi in that moment. All that she knew was the bed and her own body and Tydus, wonderful Tydus. No memories of how she'd come to be here in this moment and no thoughts about Svefran sex fiends.

Just the two of them and instinct.

[Kulkulkan Inn] Delights of Intoxication (Adi)

Postby Tydus Tempest on March 31st, 2014, 6:33 am

Intoxication had its way of creating a tunnel vision for the Tempest scion. It was the appeal in it. The world subsided, turning to a blurred vortex of sensation, only the path before him clear to his vision, though sight was not the sense he relied upon. He listened to the woman's breath, feeling the extent of her gasp as fingers moved within her, working into the woman's core as Tydus sought to satisfy his innermost desire for utter distraction.

There was to be nothing else but the woman's breath, air hot against the flesh of his neck, bodies pressed to one another, emanating the heat of Ivak's unholy fire. The Tempest was overwhelmed by it, suffocated by it, and liberated by it. The heat was the key to his distraction, his mind utterly consumed by the desire he felt as his chest pulsed with the aching beats of an accelerating heart. His chest pressed to hers as his right leg moved in between both of hers, parting her legs and allowing his ministrations to become more focused, a desire forming to pleasure the woman as a means of pleasuring himself. It was an instinct, more than it was a desire, to work towards the inevitable apex.

Pleasure. Satisfaction. Both were aspirations, ideals, yet perfectly attainable. Abstract concepts that the mind materialized into a perceived reality, and enacted upon. The Svefra knew, from experience with Hypnotism, just how powerful perceptions could be, invoked or naturally felt. And he wanted to invoke it. To create it. To control it. It was an addiction, to control, to pleasure, it was a desire that manifested in him in the past and present, to counter-act his lack of control in other reaches of his reality.

And he had control. Control over this woman's pleasure. Over her affection, if only for the evening before he left her embrace, for with intimacy came fear. But, the fear was not present, he isolated himself from it, working into the woman faster than before as he captured her lips with his own again. His lips parted hers, his free hand moving to her jaw and pressing to it, rough fingers moving along the smooth texture of the woman's cheek as his tongue slowly infiltrated her mouth, the Svefra sliding his along hers in a slow, measured rhythm. The Tempest was unsure whether or not this would work in his favour, but he had both seen and acted upon Hypnotism without the use of words.

Subtle gestures, sensory input. Words were not necessary in order to act upon Hypnotism. What was important was an impact. An entrance. Media, and the most important one of them at least in Tydus' experience, was eye contact. Thr Svefra continued his ministrations on the woman, the fingers at her core moving slower than before as he stared into her eyes, ocean's blue depths of Laviku's reflection staring into the woman's ever-changing eyes as he poured djed into the motion. The djed impacted into his eyes, pressed into the tips of his fingers at her face, tender, gentle sensation with the intent of invoking a simple emotion from her. Joy.

After all, the evocation of an emotion, the bringing about it into existence, was perhaps a way that Tydus himself could come to feel it. Sensation via proxy. Adi was the closest and, as his partner for the evening, the most rewarding sort to try this upon. The instinct was unhampered by his state of intoxication, the magic so ingrained into the essence of his being that at times, the Tempest even forgot it was a magic. Hypnotism was, nothing more or less than a tool he had been blessed with, given to by the hands of a treasured mentor.

It was only fitting that he used it to the benefit of one of the Magic Man's kind.

And with that thought... the world went black.

Aw, Adi is all grown up. Sort of. Obviously you didn't get to finish the thread, but I think we all know where it went. It was fun to grade the first half of this, and I think it was only fitting that I got to grade the continuation. I definitely have a better understanding of your character and where her relationship dynamic with the Tempest stands. Also, Adi is beautiful! I hope she can see that in herself. :)

The Good Stuff :
Experience:
Skill XP
Seduction +2
Kissing +2

Lore(s):
Hypnotism: Projecting Joy Into Another
Playing With A Virgin
Adi Skyglow: Inexperienced In Saucy Affairs

Loot:
Another "conquest" for Ty?

Notes:
This was interesting to read. I'm beginning to think there are some differences in how Tydus treats various women, both in physical touch and how he interact with them. Adds some depth and changes things up. I had only heard of this thread, and Adi's crush, but reading it (and grading it) has given more more insight on her feelings and why. Also, not sure if "massage" was the appropriate.. uh... skill for certain events, but if you don't like it, just tell me. It was the closest fit I could think of.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your grade, please send me a PM and I'll be happy to discuss it with you. Keep writing!
