Sei stood impatiently in front of the Feathered Shaft, waiting for his friend. He'd gotten there too early and was paying the price. He was bored; he hated being bored. So now was stuck on the ground floor of Stormhold Castle in Syliras. His ears were stinging from all the noise, but that was normal for him. Being a Kelvic with heightened senses - including hearing - only made it ten times worse. Where could Letixia be? She was usually always the first o show on their get-togethers.

The Kelvic paced back and forth. It was better than doing nothing. After a few ticks he leaned against the building. Next thing he knew he was listening in to peoples converastions. It was surprisingly difficult to sigle out one voice out a so many, but he managed to catch different words. Most of 'hey' or 'bye', but he had nothing else to do while he waited.

Eventually he got bored and entered the building. He had brought his own longbow and quiver, but he was wearing hhis off duty attire. He stepped inside the building. He had stumbled upon it recently, but hadn't had the time to actually explore the building. Now was his chance. As he walked through, the first thing he noticed was that it was actually quiet inside. I'm loving this place already.

There were four different sections in thestore. The firstr section he noticed were velvet lined shelves with a wide variety of bows, arrows, crossbows, and bolts. Then he noticed a door that had to lead to some kind of workshop. He came to a stop in front of a mahogany desks that prevented him from getting a closer look at the craftsmanship. He rubbed his hand along the desk, feeling the smooth texture against his skin. There was a stairwell leading higher and lower to his right, but first he'd see what all was possible here.

"May I help you, Sir?"

Sei turned to see a man standing behind the desk. He was tall, but not taller than Sei. He had a stubbly black beard, and dark blode hair. His eyes were a friendly dark color. The Kelvic gavethe man a freindly smile and looked over the shop. "Uh, Hello. I'm Sei, Sei Tendo. You are?"

"Oh, pardon me. I'm the owner of the Feathered Shaft, Kalvin Wilde. Was there something you needed?"

"Nice to meet you Kalvin. I'm just waiting for a friend."

"I see. Are you training downstairs?"

Sei nodded, and when they wraped up the conversation he waved his goodbyes and exited to wait outside. Now the only thing missng was a person. Letixia to be exact.

[Feathered Shaft] Just Aim For The Middle(Letixia)

Postby Letixia Raigner on March 19th, 2014, 9:25 pm

Leti raised her sword to block the strike from Ser Ranqor. His blade pounded down on hers, her arm straining to just keep her own from striking her head. She thrust her shield forward, only to meet the brick wall that was his shield. He pushed her away so hard she had to take several steps back just to stay upright. He chased after her, stabbing at her shield hand thigh, forcing her to drop her shield to knock it away. This was met with him tackling into her shield shoulder first, and she felt her balance shift to far backwards. She fell like a tree in the forest. Her own sword was too slow to come up to protect her, his own at her throat.

"You're improving Letixia, it takes longer to completely overwhelm you."

The seventh bell chimed, "It looks like you're going to be late for your training with that kitty squire. I wouldn't apologize though, you ran late because you survived longer. Now run along, I don't feel like hearing his patron complain to me."

"Yes Ser."

Leti quickly made her way back to her dorm, shedding her armor, grabbing her bow and quiver, and out of habit, belted her sword as well. She found herself now carrying it with her where ever she went. Exiting down the steps out of the second tier, she began running through the halls of the citadel. Her bow and quiver were strapped to her back, her arms pumping as she huffed and puffed her way along. It wasn't too unusual to see squires and pages running around, since they were often busy. She made sure to not bump into anyone, and to stop and greet every Knight she came across. She was forming a stitch in her side and her legs were getting tired as she eventually made her way to the Feathered Shaft, where she saw a very bored looking Sei. One thing she'd noticed in her time knowing her fellow squire was that he had a very short attention span.

She slowed to a walk, hands atop her head as she started trying to regain her breath, breathing in through her nose and out through her mouth. Approaching Sei, she smiled brightly, "Miss me?" She walked right past him with her down-to-business attitude, entering the shop. The keeper was used to seeing her here, "Training downstairs miss?" She nodded, and he smiled, letting her proceed. Quickly descending to the basement, she looked at the all too familiar firing range, not paying any mind as if to Sei had followed her.

"So did you have something special in mind for today's training?"

[Feathered Shaft] Just Aim For The Middle(Letixia)

Postby Sei Tendo on March 19th, 2014, 9:58 pm

Sei noticed a familiar figure headed his was at top speed. It's about time. He eye twitched at her first comment, wondering if he had. Wait, that propably wasn't a question seeking an answer. He dropped it at that and followed Letixia to the basement. He let out a huff of air, the I'm-All-Buisness attitude of hers was annoying. It certainl wasn't fun. It got boring if you worked all the time, and if there was one thing Sei just couldn't stand, it was boredom. He frowned and stared at the back of Letixia's head, hoping to bore holes right through it.

"A simple 'sorry for being late' would suffice, ya know. Anyway, were going to have a little competition. However can hit the target first wins." He said with a snort. He looked at his feet and took a place at one of the isles, noting the distance. The room could fit at least ten people, and there was already another person a bit farther down. He nodded to Letixia to begin. He lifted his longbow, and took an arrow from his quiver. He took a deep breath before placing the arrow on the bowstring and drawing it back. He made sure to line the crease of the bow with his nose, keeping his feet shoulder length apart. He closed on eye so he could focus on the center of the target.

He release the arrow and let it fly.

The arrow zipped through the air, covering the three yards distance between Sei and the bullseye. Thunk! The arrow hit the target, but had fully avoided the bullseye. He had made sure to keep perfectly still, avoiding even the reprocution of loosing the arrow. The Kelvic notched back another arrow and focused on the bullseye. He changed his stance. He braced his right leg behind him to help with any rebound from the release of the arrow, but still kept them shoulder-length apart. He decided to at least make a little coversation, but first he released the arrow he had notched. Another dull thunk, and he started the conversation. "So, how've you been Leti? If I can call you that."
