My Kelvic has an NPC bondmate, a 14 year old mixed human girl who grew up in on the Sylira farm. I asked for a bondmate to start because bondmates are so important to a Kelvic character, but for reasons that are not anybody's fault, PC partners are not very reliable. Which I think is the reason there is such a high turnover rate with Kelvics that give us such a bad rap.
So I want to try something different.
I'm looking for another Kelvic PC to bond with my non-player bondmate. That way we can play through the interesting dynamic without the risk of the human side pulling a mulligan on us if she gets bored. Or conversely, if one of us gets bogged down with work or school or what have you, it won't be to the detriment of our partner. And I'm interested in how two Kelvics of two different species, personalities and possibly genders would react to being forced to deal with each other without the magical bond between them.
I asked how I could get this to work within the NPC rules and I got a thoughtful answer from Ablation in this thread. But if course there are some things we'd have to work on and talk to a DS about. And since I'm still well under 50 posts I'd be more than happy to tweak the NPC to better fit your character, though the age, name and skills have to stay.
If you are even the least bit interested please talk to me! I'd love to hash things out with you and bug the mods with our ideas.
