Fear; that was a prominent emotion that Anna was feeling as she came to the ravine that led into the Heartlands. She stood frozen as she stared down the foreboding, swallowing hard as she felt cold sweat that had been gathering the entire way here perspiring across her body. The last time she had entered into this place she had learned what true desolate horror was, alone with only her faith and determination to allow her to survive. She had succeeded in becoming Kierra Doma’s initiate, killing her previous one whom she remembered with an unconscious rubbing of her right hand at her throat.

Anna had dressed rather commonly today for the journey, simple attire consisting of a tunic, trousers and sandals with a pack slung over her shoulders. She looked much like how she had when she had first arrived on Sahova itself, though a little more slimmed out for her experiences on the island. Dark circles ringed her eyes, she had not gotten any sleep last night between having encountered that Yukman and anticipating coming here. She had left early but the journey had caused Syna to dip low and angry red in the sky. Almost a day’s travel from the Citadel without assistance.

With a weighty sigh the tall woman managed to put one foot in front of the other, followed by the other being put in front of that as she started down the path. Her heartbeat drummed in her skull as she walked, each step seeming to take chimes to complete. A single day in the Heartlands had been enough to fray her already fragile sanity, who could say how much more she would remain Annalisa Marin for her time here. The dark haired woman needed to be here however, she needed to be made the initiate of this place proper. If she claimed that then she was a link to one of the most mysterious places on Sahova.

It was not long until Anna could feel the sticky silk strands of the spiders that stalked this path clinging to the bottom of her sandals, making her steps more labored and difficult. A thrill of icy fear jolted through her as she heard their foul clacking, the creatures not doubt communicating. This time Anna found her path clear and unimpeded, no spiders approached her which was a relief for her. They were not something she wanted to deal with once more, considering what else was hanging over her head.

As the path started to clear Anna could feel drained, like her power was being sapped away by the very land around her. It got to the point where she needed to stop in place, her hand on her knees as she panted loudly. The Heartlands seemed like it was feeding on her abilities, Anna knew that drawing res would be a futile act in this place. It weakened her, though soon enough the sorceress could find the strength to stumble forward and then her walking pace was soon returned to her.

The red light above was already starting to filter through and it was then that Anna realized there was no turning back, the eerie mist seeming to make time move at a different pace. The sorceress swallowed hard again, the lush wilderness of the Heartlands visible up ahead. Her goal at the moment was to find Kierra Doma, the Warden was likely waiting somewhere up ahead. She would just need to follow the correct paths. She also made a note to avoid the patches of mist as well as she was able, her last experiences had not been overly pleasant.

Anna would not need to search for long, for as she entered the Heartlands she was greeted by none other than Kierra Doma herself. The Warden sat in an easy position against a tree, one leg pulled up to her chest and the other straight, her arms resting on her knee looking very relaxed. Her hair was black with streaks of blue today, and what looked like black scales (like those of a snake) marked an intricate pattern around her eyes. Today she wore a tight fitting set of leathers, completely black, but she seemed to not have bothered with shoes.

As Anna came into view Kierra would raise a hand in greeting, "Welcome back Initiate. I trust you are ready to get started?" She stood and dusted off her pants, rolling her shoulders as she set her hands on her hips, "Good, then we begin now. Try not to die." Without any further warning Kierra came at Anna, turning her body as she drew near to hand a swift kick into Anna's chest before she had a chance to react, sending the new Initiate hurtling backward into the rough canyon wall, "Oh, and feel free to try and use your reimancy. That should be a laugh." She smiled as she began walking toward Annalisa, hands held out to her sides in a relaxed posture.

As usually when Annalisa tried to use her magic she would feel it slipping from her grasp, and all of her spells would be reduced to half their power. So began Annalisa's training as an Initiate. First things first, survival training.

Anna’s eyes fell upon Kierra easily enough, the other woman appearing ever so different than the average human might with a few little discrepancies here and there. The sorceress wondered at that for a moment before discarding the thought as being unimportant, at least for the time being. The Warden was quick to notice her as well, greeting her with a raised hand. The tall woman came to a stop and offered a slight smirk to the Warden, both as her greeting and a way to try and take the edge off of her nerves. She felt naked with her magic so very weak and without the tools of Glyphing available to her, unnerved barely described it.

“As ready as one can be. Though I have no idea what exactly-.” The sorceress started, cut off midsentence by the other woman exploding into action.

Completely unprepared for a physical altercation as she was, Anna found the breath knocked from her lungs as she was kicked back against the canyon wall. She hit it with a loud gasp, her form crumpling as she tried to realign her breathing to some semblance of normality. When she had entered the Heartlands she had certainly not been preparing for a fight in a physical sense, then again the Wardens were known as the greatest COMBAT wizards on the island. A single kick from the Warden was enough to send her reeling, truly an academic through and through.

As she managed to realign her breathing she lifted her head to glare at the Warden, her jaw set as she indeed attempted to draw upon her Res. It was not nearly as smooth as it had once been, the near instantaneous drawing lost to her in this place. Instead the process was so much more rough and difficult, taking great effort to manage to summon wisps of purple translucent gas from her fingers. At this rate the Warden would close this distance most likely before she could manage even to summon a light breeze.

“What the petch is this place doing to me?” Anna snarled as she stood, still desperately trying to draw upon more of her Res.

Outside of this maddening place she was nearly without peer in regards to Reimancy, here her powers were dampened to an extremely high degree. She grasped at the strands of her Djed and pushed it outwards, squeezing out the res as well as she could but it was an exercise in futility. The very air of the Heartlands seemed to swallow it up as she tried with all that she was to use the magic. The tall woman still tried to muster some form of defense with the substance, weakly the cloud she had gathered outwards.

The sorceress gritted her teeth as her entire body screamed against this action, the urge blazing in her mind much brighter than normal as she willed a transmutation to air. Anna was hoping to push the Warden back with compressed air; just enough to get her bearing and try to wrap her head on how to fight without her most potent weapon. Asking Annalisa Marin to fight without Reimancy was like asking a fish to take in air instead of water; it went against her instincts and nature at the moment. However as she tried to bring her pathetic defense to bear it was becoming apparent that she lacked choice here.

The Warden laughed and with an almost mocking wave, knocking the spell to the side and darting forward. Grasping Annalisa by her collar Kierra brought her up to her feet, meeting her eyes as she whispered, "How pathetic. You really are useless without your magic aren't you? You're just as bad as the deadies, and even weaker than an infant here." Rotating her body Kierra pulled Anna's clothing, grasping her upper arm with her other hand as she half spun using her hip to leverage Annalisa off balance and half threw the woman into the air to send her tumbling to the ground toward the tree line.

"Just like the deadies you think that your magic makes you strong, but without it what are you exactly? A weak and pathetic girl, lost in this place." Coming after Annalisa again before she could regain her balance and composure Kierra placed a knee into Anna's face, crunching her nose and making blood pore out as her head snapped back, "A real Wizard is powerful even if she doesn't have her magic. True strength comes from never relying on ONE tool or skill to win your victories."

Kierra held her hands out to her sides once more, whispy yellow res began to stream from her hands, but like Annalisa the process was slowed and the amount was much less than would be expected from a Warden. Along her arms, however, Kierra began to create extensions of herself. Down her forearms a scycle of ice began to form, arching back past her elbows. She crossed her arms before her, crouching low as she began to charge once more, "When you cannot overpower your opponent, instead you find a way to disarm him instead. You fight like Maelstrom, and like him I will cut off your limbs and stand over your corpse. Unless of course you have any talent at all for what I have to teach you. we will see."

She then began forward, the scythes crossed in front of her as she looked over her arms as Annalisa. Her res spun around her, and before her, cutting a track through the air and forming a cone or a funnel that allowed her to ignore wind resistance. From her fingertips little streaks of lightning flowed over her arms, becoming attracted to the edges of the ice blades causing them to vibrate and spark with electricity, meaning that if Annalisa were even graced by the blades the shock would be enough to paralyze a limb. At her feet a path was being laid so that the ground was perfectly flat, letting her run at full speed without fear of stumbling or falling. Kierra's reimancy all consisted of small spells, using minuscule amounts of res all in combination to make up for the lack of sheer power. This was the art of the Heartlands Warden, and now this master of magical combat was coming at Annalisa, her speed faster because of the lack of wind resistance, closing the distance fast as the icy blades sparked expectantly, prepared to carve her to shreds if the chance was given.

Kierra easily battered aside her weak gust of wind, dragging Anna to her feet and getting right up in her face. Pathetic, useless, weak, the words the sorceress hated most were tossed her way and it was enough that rage bubbled beneath the surface of her mind. The anger vanished and was replaced with pain as she was hurtled towards the tree line, bodily thrown by the Warden easily. Her body was already aching at this point, tears of pain threatening to sting at her eyes but were pushed back. Groaning she attempted to get her bearings and force herself to her feet.

She was quickly denied this as well, the crunch heard well before the pain flared through her mind. Kierra had delivered a swift knee to her nose, crunching the part of her face as blood already spattered out from the injury. Anna tumbled backwards over onto her back, groaning in pain with that same icy fear already flooding her veins for a potent mix. Miserably she pushed herself away, lifting a hand to her broken nose to try and stem the blood futilely. Think, she needed to think but it was rather difficult to do so when under so brutal an assault from a more skilled hand to hand combatant.

With a heroic amount of effort and willpower Anna forced herself to her feet, spitting blood that had managed to drip into her mouth to the side. The warm taste of iron was bitter enough to bring her attention to Kierra, who was drawing res already. The sorceress noted that her drawing speed was similar to her own, slower than Anna’s normally was but being used for smaller tasks. Blades of ice formed from her arms, yellow res giving them shape as the elements were worked to the Warden’s will. Certainly not something Anna herself wanted to fight, however it appeared like she had little choice here.

Smaller spells, that was the key here. Anna still had options; all four elements were hers to command still it was just a less grand scale she needed to use them on. The Chaon thought carefully over her situation, noting Kierra was leveling a quick offense so a defense needed to be her answer. Something personal upon her body… like armor of some kind so those blades did not hack through her body like Kierra so threatened. Her thoughts went back to her fight with Maelstrom, the perfect element already coming to mind.

As Kierra began her advance Anna started backing up as well as she could towards the tree line, grasping at the strands of her Djed and working them in weaves more slowly than normal but desperation made for a lovely motivator. Slowly translucent purple liquid formed along her arms and legs, Res perspiring out from her pores and beginning to take specific shape. Anna knew full well that simply transmuting them the res to earth would be a poor idea since it would lock her arms and legs up, no she needed to think creatively.

The liquid formed in hexagonal shapes to Anna’s direction, two distinct layers forming in each segment of the liquid. The thicker outer layer was facing away from her body towards thing that could damage her while the inner was located closer to Anna’s flesh to allow her to keep control of the segments even after transmutation. The outer layer of each segment was littered with tiny spike like formations so that when the segments were then transmuted to stone they would make it difficult for the Warden to grab her limbs. It was a very patched together defense, but considering the situation Anna was in she was a little more than pressed for time.

The urge thrummed pleasantly in her mind as she attempted to avoid Kierra as much as possible, the way the segments were placed allowing for more freedom of movement. The weight was a near non-issue as res was generated when the res being used to control the segments decayed, allowing her to have the segments in reality just barely hover above her flesh. It could also allow her to relocate the segments to an area Kierra was about to slice at, an ever fluctuating suit of earthen armor. As Anna attempted to stay out of the way of the Warden’s blades she could only hope it was enough.

The Warden closed the distance quickly, but perhaps it was luck or innate skill that allowed Anna to complete her spell just before the Warden reached her. As Anna dodged to the side to avoid Kierra would rake her right scythe for the Wizard's left arm. The plates directed by Anna's will should cluster near the point of impact, the upper portion of Anna's arm, but if they didn't then the Wizard would be losing a limb this way. If the plates were quick enough the icy scythe would crash against the armor... and cut cleanly through one of the plates and cracking the others around it. However, a shattering sound would signal that the very tip of the blade was broken off, the edge of it barely scratching Anna's skin before it fell and shattered on the ground.

The Warden followed through with her motion, her right arm having swung out at Anna like she would swing a fist, the blade of the icy angled toward the Wizard so that the 2 spells would connect. In a blink Kierra was past Anna, her right arm stretched out in front of her while her left was angled back so that the remaining intact blade arched over her back in a dramatic fashion. The scratch on Anna's arm was a shallow one, not even needing medical attention, but the electricity that was coursing through the ice at the time of impact caused even that small of a wound to cause her entire limb to go numb from the shoulder down to her fingertips.

The remainder of Kierra's spell crumbled and fell away from her body, sparks subsiding and the icy becoming glittering particles that fell to the ground as she redrew the yellowish res back into her outstretched hand, "That... was an interesting spell. Not perfect, but it kept you from dying at least." Kierra set a hand on her hip and looked back over her shoulder at Anna, "I guess you will do then. Lets get you Initiated and the training will begin."

Crooking a finger at Anna the woman proceeded down the path on the left, leading Anna deeper into the never changing woods.

"So Annalisa, what do you know about the Heartlands?"

Kierra’s speed was unreal and it was nothing short of a miracle that Anna had managed to get up her spell before the Warden reached her. As the Warden sliced out at the sorceress’ arm the stone plates would cluster together near the point of impact hastily, Anna bracing herself for contact. The blade of ice sliced through the first plate and cracked those around it, electricity coursing through the limb painfully and causing her arm to twitch slightly before going completely numb. The amount of control Kierra displayed in being able to safely keep the lightning so close to her body… it was amazing really.

Kierra’s spell crumbled as she ended her offense rather dramatically, Anna left with a numb arm that twitched every now and then and a decidedly broken nose. The sorceress willed the protective plates around her limbs to drop, taking the remaining res back into her body as she struggled to overcome the waves of pain upon her body. Her mouth opened and closed rather like a fish out of water as her free hand lightly touched her nose, earning a flare of pain from the spot. The sorceress could feel tears rising in her eyes as she tried to set it back into place, wincing as she tugged at it towards the correct direction. She was not exactly good at setting broken noses or anything broken in general.

A hissing chuckled came from Anna, she was indeed not yet dead as Kierra had stated and instead she was nicely beaten and battered. The Warden had neatly crushed most any kind of defense she might have had against her, likely if this fight had continued Anna would be a very dead woman. The sorceress was one of the more powerful Reimancers on the island and even she had been bested by this woman. The Heartlands was certainly not a friendly place and its Warden was a more powerful combat wizard than anyone Anna had ever seen.

“The Heartlands itself? I know that few know of it and that even fewer who enter return. I know it has a way of petching with one’s head the longer they stay. I also know that my Reimancy is next to impossible to call upon here, though I have yet to try my other magic.” Anna offered, her speech a little more nasally due to the fact she was still nursing her broken nose and also trying to stem the blood flow from it.

“Other than that my knowledge is rather limited. Most of my time has been spent in the Citadel, learning how things work there. I learned of this place mostly from Maelstrom and Amaryllis.” The tall woman elaborated, following wherever Kierra might lead her.

Anna was still rather impressed by the way this place looked, so very lively on an island touched by so much death. It was as though it existed in a realm all its own, standing outside of time and the harshness that had beset the rest of the island. With that though, she realized that the terrors here were very different than mere beasts. She had gotten that first taste in her initial foray into the Heartlands; she had a feeling that spending so much time here would affect her even more.

"That sounds about right." Kierra said, not looking back as she clasped her hands behind her neck, walking with an easy and confident gate, "Everyone on the outside come up with the funniest stories to explain the unexplainable nature of the Heartlands, and if your only real source was that bitch embalmer and the crazy reimancer then it's no wonder you don't know anything at all." As always they trail they walked was completely unassuming with no markings anywhere to indicate where they were or how far they had gone. The red tint of this world combined with the ever present fog gave it a hostile, and deadily feel, but the Warden was just as much at home here as any Wizard might be in their lab.

"I'm sure you have noticed that time doesn't exactly work the same here. Everything is locked in a kind of loop, and Tanroa seems to either have no power over this place or she has simply forgotten about it. There are no seasons here, nothing changes. That's how the Heartland likes it." She spoke like the Heartlands was an actual living, breathing thing, "You will find that only reimancy is drained in this place, as to why that is no one really knows. All other magics work just fine. Despite this, however, Heartland Wardens have always been reimancers, since before anyone remembers anymore. Most of us have other magics, but we never use them. Other forms of magic are forbidden here, or highly frowned upon I guess you could say." She paused and pressed her hand against the trunk of a tree, looking up into the canopy above, "Anyone who tries to use too much of any other kind of magic soon finds the Heartlands turn against them."

She shrugged and started down a hidden path which blended perfectly with the woods that surrounded them. The path was narrow, more of a game trail than anything but there was no sign of any animal life at all. Kierra used her hands to gently push aside branches and limbs, stepping carefully in certain spots to avoid crushing plants or disturbing too much in the underbrush. For every branch that Anna carelessly disturbed, or stone she nudged out of place, a creaking sound would come from the trees around them as the wooden sentinels seemed to lean over them to glare menacingly at the one who would set even a pebble out of place.

"The Heartlands always has one Warden, and one Initiate. They are both always women who specialize in Reimancy. It always has to be a woman, because any time a man was chosen to be an Initiate he died within 7 days after his initiation." The path finally put them out in another small clearing. Krawlek was there waiting for them, at at his feet was a large and elaborately drawn summoning circle.

"The Heartlands is very picky about what it wants from its Warden, and its Initiates." The Familiar, who was in his statue form, said as he took up where the Warden left off, "The Heartland Warden's are often the most powerful of the Wardens not because of any special training, but out of necessity. Through trials and hardships as they try to survive the Warden of this place grows stronger than any of the others, for here even their own domain is deadly and will kill them at a moment's notice."

"The Heartland Warden's job, and by extension her Initiate's, is a simple one at its core." Kierra stopped by the circle and turned to look at Anna, setting her hands on her hips as she looked around at the trees, "Unlike the other parts of the testing grounds no actual experiments are held here. No one comes or goes, and no one besides us knows about the secrets of this place. The one goal and purpose of the Heartland Warden is not to keep the domain safe, but to keep it under control and prevent it from spreading beyond the boundaries to other parts of the islands."

A lot of words and very little explanations thus far. It wasn't clear if Kierra was being intentionally vague or if she simply did not feel a need to explain everything because it was obvious. The Warden was now bending down to help her Familiar fill in the coordinates of the circle, preparing to open a portal to Fayrden for an obvious purpose.

OOCGood place to let Anna start asking questions so that this doesn't become a long monologue ^.^

[The Heartlands]The Return[Mirage]

Postby Annalisa Marin on June 27th, 2014, 8:52 pm

Kierra appeared comfortable in walking through the Heartlands, almost as though she was entirely at home here. Anna was uncertain she could ever be like that, the tall woman had grown used to the trappings of civilization and this place was decidedly not as such. Beyond that there was a form of almost wrongness about this place, the Heartlands being almost seemingly trying to mess with her perceptions. The sorceress was unsure how she was supposed to keep her wits about her when she was uncertain what was truly real and what was a product of this place trying to petch with her as it had last time.

Time passed very much differently in the Heartlands; already as Anna looked around she could very well see that everything seemed frozen in a stasis. This place was static and unchanging; the product of a bygone age long forgotten by the minds of mortals, whatever dwelled here was no doubt much the same. Though, so far Anna had not seen much of the wildlife of the Heartlands and perhaps that was a good thing considering the spiders. Whatever could actually live in this place of madness was certainly not something the sorceress would ever look forward to meeting.

“Any other kind of magic you say? Does that include World Magics such as Glyphing and Summoning? Or is it limited to Personal Magics?” Anna inquired, as her skills were varied into both fields.

Anna looked around somewhat nervously as she followed the Warden, the very air of the Heartlands seeming to become more threatening. A twig snapped under her feet and she heard an ominous creaking noise above her, rather like the very trees were glaring down at her. A spike of fear formed in the pit of her gut, what she had truly walked beginning to set into her brain. The Citadel held terrors most certainly, but the Heartlands were on an entirely different level. She would be fortunate to walk out of this place still living.

One Warden and one initiate, it seemed a fair number considering how very deadly the Heartlands appeared to be judging from Kierra’s words. The dark haired woman was rather grateful to be a woman when she was told that had she been a male she would likely be dead. It appeared that fortune had smiled upon her in some way for she certainly had everything going for her in this place. Well, everything but physical prowess and if that last encounter had been an indication Kierra was likely going to pound her to within an inch of her life. Anna narrowed her eyes at the Warden’s back but kept her murderous thoughts to herself.

Krawlek was creating a rather elaborate set of summoning circles when they arrived where Kierra was leading, some confusion upon Anna’s face at the scene. Again they spoke as though the Heartlands itself was some form of living entity and somehow the sorceress felt herself agreeing. No matter how she tried to dismiss this as a mere figment of her imagination or the result of paranoid delusions she could not. It was a sobering thing to realize and one Anna dearly wished she could deny, how could she possibly defend herself from the land itself.

“I believe I understand, Warden. Though what do you mean by ‘spread’? How can one stop a place from expanding and claiming other land?” Anna inquired as she watched the pair worked, noting the coordinates to Fyrden immediately.

“Fyrden… the world of Familiars, Mr. Krawlek, I believe you are a familiar yes? Is this what was meant by initiations then? To grant me a familiar from this world?” Anna asked, seeking confirmation on her suspicions.

“It would be best if you not take a risk and refrain from magic other than Reimancy while you are here in the Heartlands.” Kierra responded.

Kierra chose to obviously ignore Anna’s other questions likely believing both to be either painfully obvious or simply irrelevant at this stage in Anna’s training. The tall dark haired woman locked her jaw and scowled ever so; opting not to note aloud that Kierra was breaking that very advice she had set down for Anna herself. Instead she simply observed the pair finished the Summoning Circles, watching as Krawlek opened the array by fragmenting a piece of himself upon the circle.

A flash of brilliant lights was the product for the circle’s being activated, a swirling watery vortex located in the center. Anna smelled the common oily smell of a summoning being completed, smirking ever so as she strode over to the circle. For her part Kierra moved away and leaned against a nearby tree, apparently fine to leave this matter in Krawlek’s hands. The Kirt gestured towards the Summoning circles widely, his stony lips parting to reveal teeth of marble. Anna was a little put off by the familiar’s appearance; however she suspected that if anyone would know Fyrden it would be him.

“Well now, Miss Marin, this next step is rather crucial. There are six familiar types upon Fyrden, Kirt, my own species, Sarawanki, Avavali, Gordios, Irylid, and the Pascid. I have a number of associates from each type I could recommend to you, might make things a little simpler.” Krawlek said instructionally.

Kierra snorted at that last bit, though Krawlek seemed unperturbed by the Warden’s reaction. Anna considered the offer, drawing from a smaller pool of familiar’s might very well make the process a bit simpler. Though, taking one of Krawlek’s associates as a familiar could very well be a mistake. From what she understood, the taking of a familiar was a permanent and life changing thing. If she was going to choose a familiar it would likely be a good idea to try fishing outside of the one’s Krawlek knew.

“I thank you for the generous offer, Master Krawlek, however I think I’d rather just cast the net out and see what we draw in.” Anna replied.

The familiar seemed unsurprised by the response from the tall woman and simply shrugged his rocky shoulders. As with many summonings there was great deal of waiting involved in the process. Within about ten chimes of the circle opening the vortex shifted somewhat violently and from it sprung an icy looking creature. She blinked as she looked upon the floating orb of ice before turning her gaze to Krawlek. He was the expert of familiars here after all as far as the sorceress knew.

“This particular familiar is an Irylid. They hail from the Darkface of Fyrden and are known for icy dispositions and forms.” Krawlek explained.

“Interesting… who are you?” Anna inquired when the orb did not immediately speak up.

“I am Ulura. I suspect you are a wizard seeking a familiar.” The object replied, its tone as frosty as its appearance.

“You would be correct. What would you have to offer me should I take you on as a familiar?” Anna asked, crossing her arms under her breasts and wincing slightly as she still ached from her earlier beating.

“I would ask the same. I would much rather not risk bonding to an inferior wizard. It seems a poor idea to one’s continued health.” Ulura responded in kind.

The sorceress locked her jaw, a bit irritated that this thing would even insinuate that she was anything but the most powerful of wizards. Not only that but it turned her own question in towards her, which gave her the feeling of an opportunist. Still so far it did not seem like the worst possible choice that she could make. Except for the fact that it was made of ice, which was a rather poor weakness considering Anna made liberal use of Pyromancy.

“I am specialized in the ways of Reimancy, Glyphing, and Voiding. I would say I am much further above inferior wizards, sir.” Anna responded.

“A Reimancer? That seems a bit unnecessarily risky. You elemental mages tend to lose your minds rather quickly and it seems unwise to bond with someone who possibly possesses poor judgment.” The Irylid responded.

Anna was about two ticks away from showing Ulura just how risky irritating a reimancer could be, which prompted Krawlek to quite wisely force the Irylid back into the Portal. The dark haired woman sighed, getting the feeling that due to her choice of selecting familiar’s outside of Krawlek’s contacts that she was going to be in for a long day. Kierra snickered from the sidelines, if nothing else her inept bargaining and searching through Fyrden would likely serve to amuse the Warden of the Heartlands.
