Luxury Housing ran by the Zulaca.

This lazy agricultural settlement rests on the swampy shores of the Middle Suvan at the delta of The Kenash River. The River's slow moving bayou waters have bred a different sort of people - rugged, cultured, and somewhat violent. Sprawling plantations of tobacco and cotton grow on the outskirts of the swamp in the rich Cyphrus soils, while the city itself curls around the bayou and spawns decadence and sins of all sorts. Life is slower in Kenash, but the lack of pace is made up for in the excesses of food and flesh in a city where drinking, debauchery, gambling, slavery, and overbearing plantation families dominate the landscape.

The Fantasia Zulaca, more casually referred to as 'The Dream' is the premiere provider of temporary housing within the city of Kenash- indeed, they are one of the few providers of such a service within the great city. It was established nearly a century ago by the Zulaca with the intention of setting a high standard for lodging establishments in the city, in order to prevent rabble such as the poor from coming and spending their lives in Kenash.

The Dream is run by Raine Zulaca, one of the 'children' of Carthrys Zulaca. In his quest to please the family that lifted him out of slavery and made him family, he runs The Royal with care and excellence, ensuring the best possible quality he can at all times. The Royal seeks to provide to every customer an experience unlike any other in Mizahar. On the quest to provide that experience, no expense is spared.

All the furniture is high quality and is meticulously maintained. The bedding is some of the most comfortable you'll find, woven together with fine silk and cotton. Food is provided twice a day, and is rumored to be some of the better fare you'll find in the city. And to top it all off, The Dream offers one of the most unique things you'll find anywhere in Mizahar, for a price: personal attendants. For a fee, issued on a per day basis, a Zulaca house slave will be provided to attend to any need, within reason. Some of the more common uses include masseurs, pleasure slaves, and servants to wait upon a patron's every word.

Each room is fairly spacious- a large step up from the majority of rooms you'd find elsewhere. Each contains a bed, wardrobe or vanity, a medium sized chest, two chairs and a small table, and a desk for writing or reading, also with its own chair. The nicer rooms contain canopy beds and a hearth, and each room has an adjacent washroom with a small basin and a bath. On request, it will be filled with water at the temperature you desire. Long term residents can request to have it filled at a specific time each day.

Title: Innkeeper
Skills: Glyphing: 68, Hypnotism, 57, Management: 55, Leadership: 51, Negotiation: 41, Organization: 32

Additional Info: Raine was born more than a century ago, a human slave on the Radacke plantation. After his parents died of exposure during his teenage years, Raine became something of a 'hard case'. He was quite rebellious, even in light of the intense discipline he received at the hands of his overseers. He likely would have been done away with in short order had Carthrys Zulaca not taken an interest in him. The old Nuit purchased him from the Radacke's after hearing that they had a slave who they claimed was 'never gonna be broken'. Upon their first meeting, Carthrys saw the passion the boy had inside of him, the fire and rage that had been burning since the day his parents died.

Over the years, Zulaca worked with Raine, teaching him to channel the emotion inside of him to other pursuits, rather than letting it boil over into rebellion. Eventually this lead to his seeking to become a capable leader and savvy businessman so that he could help provide services and income for the Zulaca dynasty. As the years went on, his aggression lessened, and he turned himself to these clerical pursuits, learning to run The Dream and becoming a truly talented innkeeper. He had finally overcome the pain and anger which wracked every moment of his childhood, and the slave who 'couldn't be broken' no longer needed to be.

Nearly eighty years have passed since Carthrys Zulaca extended an invitation to Raine to not just be a friend and servant, but to join the ranks of the Zulaca dynasty as a true family member. He could not imagine the thought of turning down what he saw as the highest honor granted to a slave- the man who had saved him from ruin now invited him to be known as a son, as a brother. He gleefully accepted, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Raine is generally a cheerful fellow, making him quite pleasant to be around and adding to his natural ability to handle running The Dream. He has been known to regularly spend bells in conversation with residents, often joining them for meals or the occasional smoke or drink, wanting to be a pleasing host despite his status as a Nuit. He is especially friendly toward the slaves of The Royal, empathizing greatly with them, and harbors absolutely no patience with anyone who breaks the house rules on usage of personal slaves. It has often been said by those who have seen someone break these rules that the raging anger that used to dominate Raine really never disappeared, he just put it in reserve.

Attendants|

Slaves are obtainable on a pay-per-day basis from The Dream for anyone who makes the place their residence. The rate is 6 additional GM per day. Slaves are cycled each month, with new house slaves being brought to The Dream for training, and the now more experienced slaves are sent back to the plantation itself.

Customers are not allowed to take the slaves past the West Bank, and are not allowed to cause any sort of physical harm to them. Violation of these rules results in at least immediate, non-refundable eviction from the Dream, a fine, and possible, more severe consequences depending on the infraction.

OOC Note: Small Glyphed chokers are worn by each slave in the Dream. They are triggered by proximity, and trigger a Hypnotic effect that compels the slave to return to the Dream should they cross the threshold leading into the other parts of Kenash.

n an adjoining room beside the Fantasia's lobby is a restaurant where the majority of its meals are served. Just like the rest of the suites, it is impeccably furnished with no expense spared in any of its arrangement. Abandoning the rich wood decor of the warmer suites deeper in, the restaurant instead opts for a more pristine and sunlit design due to its facing the city proper. Large windows allow the sun to shine brightly into the room, casting in light all the many luxurious seats and sofas and potted plants positioned for aesthetic quality that matches what one would expect of a Dynastic establishment.

All meals are served at the Fantasia's restaurant, and customers of the option between sitting at one of the tables for a multiple-course meal or relaxing on one of the sofas or armchairs in the lounge area for refreshments. The cooks are of an excellent caliber and are possible of creating exquisite delicacies should they be required to. Large gatherings with menus determined by the host are possible if requested and arranged several nights in advance, which will incur a slight extra fee for the privacy and extra ornamentation that Raine will furnish for the occasion.
