Mizahar's Express Courier Services Located on the top tier of riverfall closest to the city gates, Mizahar Express Courier Services is one of the first couple buildings to be encountered by anyone entering into the city by land. It is here that the good people of Riverfall and to an extension Mizahar on a whole can exchange messages and packages with one another. Be it sending it to a secret admirer in the city, sending a host of invitations to a number of people, or sending messages and parcels beyond the city walls, or even beyond the region itself, Mizahar Express will be sure to see the job done with speed. The courier station is composed of three conjoined buildings made from the typical stone and style of riverfall. The main shop interior is visible behind a great glass window where all sorts of writing and packaging materials are put in glass shelves and can be chosen should a customer find himself unprepared. Towards the back wall of the shop is a long counter not unlike a bar that terminates with an oversized merchant's scale set on the floor specifically designed for larger packages. To one side is the entrance to the stables and in the back of the shop is the entrance to the storage room which is kept under lock and key when it is closed for the evening. The storage room has two rows of shelves for packages and letters awaiting to be delivered organized by destination, but is otherwise plain and has unfinished stone floors. Connected to this room is the shop's backroom where Xira keeps his office. The stable has and a set of oversized doors between two sets of three stalls, for a total of six stalls directly across from a set of much smaller doors that lead into the dovecote. Due to the low number of horses being stabled at the courier station, only a single spare set of tack and gear is available at this time. The dovecote is the most visible part of the structure. The stone tower rises above the shop and is capped with a domed roof similar to much of the surrounding architecture. The roof is cleverly constructed of stone with many holes to provide geometrically shaped light and shadows, fresh air and access for returning pigeons to roost. It has a main central staircase where one can move up into the tower to store or take care of potentially a thousand birds. Currently there are two horses housed in the stables of the courier station. A Desertbred horse named Crow and the groom's personal horse. Xira's own horse, Snow, frequents the stable often but primarily lives at the Sanctuary. The dovecote currently houses a single breeding pair of Homing pigeons. After many years of working there Nichil had a falling out with the owner and quit his job. Although he is a Kuvan, to maintain his status in the city he needed a new job, preferably as a groom since it was something he knew how to do and was good at it. Xira Hezmek hired him on as his groom and personal assistant. Primarily he works as a Groom for Mizahar Express, but occasionally he watches the shop and does business transactions. He also acts as a guide for Xira when visiting Endrykas for work. Rarely does he ever actually do any deliveries, however. Feel free to self mod!
