OOCTerribly sorry for the much delayed reply Alexander, but I wrapped it up
His eyes widened at being handed one of the bars, a real bar of chocolate, all for him! "I..." he opened and closed his mouth a few times, like a fish washed ashore. "I don't- Thanks, thank you," he stammered. He held the bar in his hand for a moment, enjoying the sweet scent that wafted from the paper. In all honesty, the wrapping itself looked almost as delicious as the chocolate inside at he Timothy vowed to keep it. Maybe it would bring more luck.
Solely focused on the unexpected award, Timothy undid the wrapping and took a careful bite. There was a slight bitterness before the sweetness melted on his tongue. Beaming with delight, Timothy stammered many more thanks at the freeborn and waved him goodbye before he hurried inside to help his master. He'd eaten the bar completely, thinking it best to keep the treat hidden from Jed. Though his throat was dry as cork, and though he wished he could once more taste the dark sweetness, he remained cheerful for the rest of the day, much to Matilla's delight.
