While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

What comes in the night (Judge)

It was fine. The world could be blocked out, she wouldn’t have given a damn, not then, never then! Maybe Syna had heard her plea? Maybe her Mother still looked fondly upon her, granting her this creature in a show of affection. All Callisto knew now was that she had found herself a worthy companion, a worthy lover, one that she would not have to part like she did frequently with the son of Leth.

Her hand caressed his chest, but Callisto was not one for the weepy portions of relationships. She was straightforward when it came to such things, and it was usually made apparent quite early. Through the bond, she could sense his feral half; the enormous white wolf hidden beneath the skin of a mortal man. In her mind’s eye, the Konti could feel the coarse fur that encompassed him, the fangs that riddled his mouth and the passion in his ice blue eyes. It was all there, knowledge for her to absorb, right beneath her fingertips.

“You remind me of a creature I once had long ago. He is what we now call an Ivaski, but a cousin of the wolf, very large, very intelligent and pure white. He understood me completely… my heart, my soul. He was brave and loyal to me.” She didn’t know why she was saying this, she didn’t know her own lips had parted to speak, perhaps she seemed distant then. Couldn’t remember his name! She shook her head, then gasped softly when Judge hefted her up.

Several small scales along her shoulders gave way at Judge’s merciless teeth, but Callisto didn’t mind either way. She gave a devious smile, grasping a handful of his hair and jerked it back, “Perhaps I am, but I suspect I will not be complaining anytime soon.” She trailed her tongue down his jaw and neck, ending with a rather vicious clamp of her teeth around his throat. She was not afraid to show her dominant traits, as it were. Then she licked it, as if in apology, “Tell me about yourself.” Fingers slid from his hair, to curl under his arms and clench on his back.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Judge on October 8th, 2010, 3:25 pm

On Judge's side of the bond, he could feel a peculiar sensation emanating from Callisto. He was sensing her divine nature, that daughter of Syna brilliantly radiant in her countenance, smelling of the seasons and protruding…horns?! He saw all of this with his mind's eye, engulfed by the energy she exuded, reminiscent of the sun that greeted him every morning, powerful and ever embracing. Yes, this suited Callisto perfectly. Judge was intrigued, but did not voice it. If he understood her correctly, the murky image that impressed him would not compare to seeing her in person. For now, he was loving her in Konti form, equally beautiful in its own grace.

She mentioned a past creature, the resemblance between his own nature and the Ivaski surprising and expected at the same time. He knew nothing of Ivaski, but figured he must have struck cord of remembrance for her, pleased that he matched the description, and its importance to his mistress, his queen, his lover, sweet bold Callisto. "I see why, tis good to know such love reciprocated finally." Her description matched how he felt in regards to her, the understanding and intimacy of not only lovers but good friends.

He had to hand it to her, she certainly knew how to entice and make him feel good, always surprising him, bold gestures and animal-like communication. He groaned softly as she bit his throat, licking as an after-thought apology. Judge dug his fingers into her, rough but careful with his strength. "I suspect neither of us will." He admitted warmly, breathing her scent, holding her.

Callisto surprised him again, wanting to know more about him. He hadn't spoken of himself or his past to anyone, not caring to, but also lacking friends to confide in. How to begin? Judge collected his thoughts, almost straining to ensure his narrative was coherent, it was so difficult to focus fading memories, especially regarding Yora and Sunberth. Judge looked at Callisto, his new love and opened his mouth to begin,

"I'm sure you have guessed my home and birthplace easy enough, creatures my size can hail from one place only. Where giants dwell, Taldera. Born into the company of a Talderian mercenary pack. I hunted and grew beneath daring trees sky-high, and beyond." Judge looked around, up at the tree behind them, and shook his head. "These shrubs could never compare."

"I was content enough, loved by strong parents, they worked for coin and mingled in the world of man more than I ever liked. Civilization is repulsive, noisy and cramped. The smells! Of course, all I've known is Sunberth. I am doubtful that it is representative of the best humans have to offer. Or perhaps not, they are food after all." He chuckled, "The pack came to Sunberth one winter, I wasn't a full year yet, merely a cub, when Yora found me abandoned, injured after fighting a stocky man that intended to use me for the pit." Judge's tone grew sharp, "Dog fighting." He said to clarify, disgusted thinking about it again. "I thought Yora my savior back then, until I learned of her deception."

"To understand her betrayal, I had to acknowledge what she was, a filthy, greedy human aristocrat of sorts. She'd commissioned my father's pack for extra muscle, and orchestrated their deaths to steal me for her own ambitions; Talderians are expensive, let alone difficult to attain at an early age. I was hers, I used my senses to aid in her gambling, of which i grew fond of. I protected her…killed for her."

Judge paused, enjoying Callisto's proximity again immensely. He kissed her, locking lips and jousting tongues. He broke away and continued when he was satisfied, "It took some time for me to confirm, but once I knew…rage took over. Needless to say, she is no more."

Judge turned, pinning Callisto against the tree now, kissing and biting her prominent chest, alternating at a whim. "Now it is your turn."

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Callisto on October 9th, 2010, 2:44 am

Callisto rested her head on his shoulder as she listened to Judge relay his life story. It was intriguing to her; one who has not seen all of the darker aspects of the world besides what Leth has shown her. Judge had been betrayed, something Callisto has yet to feel, and the prospect of it was difficult to grasp. Dog fighting, in Sunberth! She had been there, at least for a short time. Such filthy humans, with their false grandeur over their snobbish ways and upturned noses. They were brutish and primitive, and lacked proper discipline! Judge was right to escape from such a hell hole.

The Konti soaked in this knowledge as easily as she breathed in his musky scent. Then when he turned to kiss her once more, she returned the favor with as much enthusiasm. Her slender hand reached up and stroked his cheek, gently, lovingly, “Would you kill me, as well?” It was an innocent question, but her eyes burned with curiosity. She was not one to be frightened, rarely was she surprised, but her words ached.

Then when he pinned her against the tree she laughed softly, “You’re going to leave marks,” She chided, as if she cared! But it was becoming increasingly difficult to hide her lust in her tone. His request for her story temporarily kept it at bay.

“I am not as intriguing as yourself, Judge. I can not tell you anything of my divine life, at least… not at this time. It’s beyond me, but I can tell you portions of my Konti life.” She wrapped her legs around his waist, holding herself to him as she spoke, “Many things are muddled, locked to me, but I remember I was born into a prestigious family; the Timandres. It was a time long before you were born, long before even your parents or your parent’s parents, and so on. The Konti Isle was different then… Secluded. I traveled frequently under the duty of bearing daughters, and my curiosity.. Oh, how it has lingered since those days long past.”

“Something led to my death, something that has been hidden in shadows in my mind. In life, I had been devoted to Syna. She was my second Mother, my beloved Goddess, and when I died… I simply… rejoined her.” She shook her head, everything past those events were faded. She could not remember! “Three years ago I had arrived at Mura once more, only in a different form. I met my descendants, and they greeted me, loved me and accepted me. But I could not remain. Something called to me, something in the winds and the sky.” She laughed, “I suppose you think me insane.”

"You see, Judge. I am devoted to knowledge. The pursuit of it and magic. Magic is deep in our blood, the Timandre blood, this I remember. It is our duty to uphold what has been gifted to us."

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Judge on October 11th, 2010, 1:33 am

Judge caressed Callisto as lovingly as she did him, thinking deeply concerning what she asked of him, her eyes so carefully watching him, begging for an answer. He breathed in her lovely scent, so strong and feminine that it was difficult to control his lust. The Kelvic thought about the prospect and grinned, "Never." He left it at that, pausing to see her reaction before continuing, "You have a courageous, honest heart; never would you give me reason to." His eyes flickered with affection, hoping that she would be put at ease.

She was so attractive underneath Leth's light, flickering through the leafy canopy above them, illuminating portions of her skin, especially the marks adorning her breasts where Judge played and teased her, loving her laugh. She was wrapped around him, the warmth of her body and sex intoxicating his senses. How irresistible she was to him, irrefutably engulfing.

"I did not realize you have known such experiences, I cannot begin to imagine." He truly couldn't, and further respected his mistress in return for her knowledge and intimacy with magic. Magic was a curious concept to Judge, who was versed with the natural world, primarily rooted in physical endeavors. Such practice of the mind was entirely foreign, even daunting to the young wolf. Although she complimented his life story with modesty about her own, Judge found himself laying his head on her listening and rubbing against her, unable to content himself with her touch, and caught in the narrative of her tale.

He laughed with her, "You are many things, but Insanity is not attributed among them." He shook his head, as if to show he understood what she meant. His was a duty to his nature, but seemed to see that knowledge and magic was hers.

"Intoxicating, unpredictable, lovely…I think these most when I think of you."

Callisto was tight against him, allowing his hands freedom to search her curves, and settled nicely around the curves of her butt, grabbing two handfuls and periodically giving her a squeeze as his wandering tongue found her nipple and traced along and over it, trying to stimulate her as he latched his mouth along her well-proportioned breasts and sucked, desire and lust arousing his groin against hers, rubbing along the outside lips of her sex, moans of pleasure already rising out of him.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Callisto on October 11th, 2010, 6:06 am

“Never.” She echoed. Did she believe it? It was difficult for her heart to absorb, so severed was she to the mortal concept of love. She only clung to him, her arm wrapped underneath his own and clawed at his back, leaving beads of blood in the wake of her merciless nails. He would be her protector, but did she need one? A companion was what she sought internally, and the gods seemed to hear the whispers that penetrated her thoughts. She was consumed in his heat, consumed by the feral nature that composed him, that washed over her like a tidal wave. Her actions were influenced by his internal nature, warping her mind in that instant.

“You give me too much credit, you’ve only just met me.” She whispered softly, “And indeed, such a quick meeting it was…” But in her heart, her silent thoughts echoed in his own, she felt that she has known Judge for far longer than she realized. Even with the scars that marred his chest, sculpted arms and legs coated in blood, she felt her heart grow to envelop him completely.

When he moved to trap her bosom with his mouth, she tilted her head back and inhaled sharply. Her fingers traveled up his neck to caress his hair, and it was utterly impossible to suppress the moans that escaped her. The sensations she felt were beyond anything she had felt in quite a long time, only enhanced by the sounds of her partners own enthusiasm and the pressure she felt below. Callisto tightened her arm around his neck and pulled him closer, so her back was firmly against the tree, and almost immediately she had eased herself down on his groin. She bit her lip as she did so, even so much as closing her eyes to concentrate, but the soft sounds escaped her, betraying the pure pleasure she derived from such acts. She moved, lifting herself in a rhythmic motion, and using her lips and tongue to caress his jaw line.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Judge on October 11th, 2010, 8:10 pm

Judge carefully watched her muse over his response, seeing an exuberance to her character suppressed by too many memories, too many sorrows and hardships finally breath through broken mental and emotional walls. The bond between Kelvic and Master allowed him to garner this more intensely than vocal or body communication ever could, allowed Judge to see his beloved Callisto give herself to him as much as he gave to her.

He smiled, acknowledging that the brevity of their relationship was uncommon for such ties to be bound between them. Indeed it was quick, but as he felt the same inkling in Callisto, Judge could not deny the familiarity with which they interacted, strangers in the night intimately bound together. Was it coincidence? Luck? Dare he suggest fate? He wondered what the implications were of Callisto's nature, a divine being, resident with the Sun Goddess.

Judge was essentially an animal with higher intelligence, aware of the natural world but clueless as to the implications of gods aside from human reverence to them. Yet Callisto was proof of their existence to Judge's reckoning, she confirmed their importance to him, represented the sun in her divine presence, however subtle it was at the moment. This revelation changed his understanding of the world, as well as his place in it. He was sworn to protect his lover, Callisto, child of the Sun, so in turn, did he not serve Syna as well? He made a note to himself to inquire more about her Goddess later on, when lust and pleasure did not enrapture his entire being.

Thanks to their bond, whatever pleasure Callisto felt in turn intensified his own. Her ecstasy was his purpose, his drive, his ultimate fantasy. Her nails drew blood, but Judge only smiled and groaned, pain and pleasure had become synonymous, one brought more of the other. Hearing her moans brought waves of intense sensations over his entire body, driving his hips at their own accord, pumping into her sex at faster intervals, pushing as deep as he could go, unmatched by feral instinct to take his woman and pleasure her with all due ferocity and stamina.

He breathed deeply, moaning unlike he ever had before, the walls of her groin wet and squeezing him. He continued to push against her, matching her rhythm, then increasing it until she matched it, only to move faster, roughly cupping one of her breasts, sometimes his eyes rolling back before focusing, staring into her eyes with unbridled passion, a look of contentment. He loved the way she moved against him, loved him, embracing him with her tongue. He returned the favor, moving to lock lips with her again as his other hand caressed her cheek. Judge nudged her head to the side, opening her neck to his trailing licks and kisses, locking on to her throat as he lightly sucked and nibbled into her skin.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Callisto on October 12th, 2010, 3:02 am

oocI’m going to take the liberty of skipping through the good bits. ;) Hope you don‘t mind!

It hadn’t been long since Callisto coupled with another, but this moment, these ministrations, by far had left her breathless and utterly vulnerable. She had pulled him down to the grass, clung to him from her position beneath and moved her body with each motion he made, the sounds of ecstasy escaping her. And when the peak of the moment came, her back arched and her head tipped back, letting out a pleasurable cry that echoed amongst the trees in the dark. She hadn’t noticed her tightened hold on his arms, and when she finally lay gasping for breath on the damp grass, she loosened her grip.

There was a light sheen to her body, and she was completely flushed. An odd and drastic change to her otherwise aloof countenance. In copulation, her guard slips, and her true heart spills forth. Anyone could read her, so easily, so tempting. The maiden that most assume she must have been. Once. As the seconds ticked by, her breathing eased and she reached a hand up to stroke Judge’s cheek. A simple gesture but a meaningful one. “I think.. It is time for a rest.” She smiled and pat the space beside her and if Judge should move, she would rest her head along his shoulder. The night was fresh, but the Konti soon found herself, for the first time in the years she had tread on this world, the desire to sleep.

----

It was not quite dawn when she awoke, but she new that the transformation would soon compel her to move. Detached from Judge, she stood, feeling a slight ache in her legs and back, but otherwise stable. The stream still bubbled as it had during the night, but what she saw in her reflection were light bruising along her chest and pelvis, her hair riddled with bits of grass and earth. Pity, she had taken a light bath only to get dirty again! But Callisto enjoyed her time in the water and when Syna inched herself over the horizon, it wasn’t long before the Ethaefal’s skin shimmered and glowed, enveloping her completely in a light that soon revealed a creature touched by the divine. It was the golden skin that gave off the radiance second only to Syna herself. Long, straight crimson hair fell over her shoulders and back, and the golden slender horns tapered back against her temple.

She was as she should have always been. Perfected. Callisto did not move to wake her bondmate, and instead approached her long forgotten garments beside the tree to dress herself. She wondered what his reaction would be. Fear? Awe? Reverence? Most seemed to revere her as a queen, and of course, being her, she would have it no other way. There was a disturbance that lay not far off. Birds screeched and took to the air, followed by a dull thump.. The Ethaefal did not move from her position, as she was content to stand with her open back to the potential intruders. Let them come.

oocFeel free to add whatever bad guy we’re gonna face if you want.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Judge on October 12th, 2010, 11:14 pm

OOC: Sweet, yeah its cool :) I'm down for fighting baddies :D

Judge followed Callisto's pull to the ground, laughing and moving against her as they clung to one another, enraptured by the pleasure and friction that joined them, and cried out together, matching her intense grip, and howled as the climax came. When the moment passed, Judge breaths were heavy and labored, the exercise of their activity as draining as it was enjoyable.

Judge committed the image of her beneath him to memory, glistening, flushed, as worn as he and revealing a softness to her countenance that he only guessed at in their short time together. So strong willed was this woman, so emotionally impenetrable on the surface, and here she was, the maiden she kept protected, and now…so did he. His breathing eased with hers, sensitive to her every gesture and touch. He caressed her cheek too, then moved to the welcoming, soft grass beside her as she motioned him to. Callisto rested her head against his shoulder, and Judge moved an arm to embrace her. How exhausted he felt! What a mess he was! His white-black hair was tangled, drenched in sweat and covered with grass and dirt, as was most of his body, bruised and bleeding in several places, but nothing serious, nothing that wasn't worth a good time.

"We've earned it." Was all Judge replied, yawning wide as the natural world around them was quiet, inviting sleep to closing eyelids, not to open till sunrise.

----

Judge slept deeper than he'd anticipated, and did not stir when the light of Syna peeked over the horizon, beckoning Callisto's transformation. No, instead the amount of divine energy channeling from Callisto roused him through the bond that connected them. Judge, ever the predator felt a jolt run through his spine, lifting the haziness that drowsed him immediately and sent the kelvic in a hectic series of reactions, falling onto all fours and growling at what he thought was danger, until those wild blue eyes squinted from a nearby glow, so similar, so familiar to the sun, but simply to close to be true. At first he shot a glance back to their spot on the ground, their impressions still identifiable, however empty. Then memory lent its service to the wolf, the impression he gleamed last night of her other form, remembering what she had said about her transformation. Had she not attempted to explain all of this beforehand, Judge wouldn't have believed what…nay…who stood in front of him.

Suddenly Judge felt an understanding, a connection to the sadness that she carried the last night. So magnificent, beautiful, powerful, and unnatural; unnatural to this world anyways. Judge considered this human form of his inferior to the mighty, proud wolf that he was born as. Why shouldn't he? Was his nature not that of a hunter, prowling and stalking his prey, senses ever acute and tuned to serve him? He imagined Callisto must feel the same of the Konti he made love to that night, or at least, that it was but a fragment of what she truly was. Judge looked at her radiance, crimson hair, golden horns and skin, and her eyes! It was her eyes that caught him, so used to enveloping others as she now enveloped him.

The wolf suddenly felt ashamed that she should look at him such, for he was not this human form, bearing scars and love marks from the night. Light flashed all about his body, and now dimmed to nothingness as a Talderian wolf stood, tail wagging uncontrollably, creating large swooshing sounds whenever it cut through the air. Always more comfortable in this form, Judge panted as he moved towards Callisto, the giant wolf approached cautiously at first, almost unsure of all that had changed with the sun's influence over her, and met eye to eye, nudging his head at a downward angle, showing his favor for her, and perhaps secretly hoping to be petted.

Then Judge's ears perked up, but a moment before the birds took flight and the ominous dull thump fell close by, too close for his liking. He turned his muzzle towards Callisto, then pointed it in the direction of the thump, asking if they should go investigate when their query found them. From the borders of the small clearing, amidst the trees and fauna that surrounded them, a single child emerged. Judge looked closer, his eyes focusing on the image. Yes a child, but something wasn't right. It looked familiar, too familiar, and Judge cringed at the thought.

Impossible! I ate it yesterday, all four...nothing was left.

Judge was correct, he did eat all four family members. The youngest a boy about the height and proportions of the child in front of them. Judge saw rock and dirt fall from crevices around the cracked skin of its form, grass protruding from its head like makeshift hair. He then caught the smell, and a low, guttural growl rose from his belly and came forth as a loud bark, a warning from one feral creature to another as he shifted in front of Callisto, bearing his sharp teeth and snarling, quite the fearsome sight.

The yukman child caught sight of Callisto and Judge, and hearing the wolf's challenge and warning, outstretched its disformed arms and emitted a high-pitched shriek through a mouth full of razor-like teeth that was quickly joined by many more from all around them, a crescendo of noise flanking them at all sides. What an annoying sound! Although Judge was set on protecting his mistress, he couldn't help but grin at the thought of destroying these mocking, obnoxious creatures.

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Callisto on October 15th, 2010, 7:30 am

Callisto smiled when Judge transformed, enjoying his animal form surprisingly as much as she enjoyed his human body. She was even slightly amazed he was so large, as she had only ever seen the Ivaski in Mura to be about above average of a normal wolf. When he lowered his head, she gladly raised a golden hand and scratched behind his ears. “You are not so intimidating in this form, Judge. And here you tried to make it seem as if you were a monster.” But no, she looked far more alien than he, far more detached from this world with her horns and those pupil-less citrine eyes.

Nonetheless, she kissed him softly on the forehead, stroking his muzzle. When his ears perked, so too did Callisto’s eyes follow the direction he indicated. “Stay,” She murmured, “Let it come.” And not a second passed when the child emerged, and the emotions that ran rampant through her wolf bondmate coursed through her own thoughts. She could hear his voice, so vivid in her mind! “You killed it? Then why does it yet still live?” Callisto slowly turned to grasp her suvai, clutching the spiral handle loosely in one hand as Judge turned to shield her.

“I think we should be kind and help it along to afterlife, don’t you agree?” Her hand touched his shoulder, a comforting gesture, but when the shriek was emitted from the yukman, Callisto winced. Her concentration was broken, but she would not be hindered! Her mind focused, even when more of them sprouted about them, slipping her astral limb from her left arm as her right still clutched her suvai. She did not hesitate, she did not even give these creatures a moment to breathe, if they could. The second one stepped within her reach she jerked her astral limb out, grasping the neck of the creature and hauling it in to suffer a horizontal sweep from her suvai.

There was a shriek as it fell, it’s neck lacerated and nearly sliced clean through. It was clear Callisto was determined to shut these creatures up. The rest of them lumbered forward, arms outstretched, even as it’s fellow yukman lay sprawled and twitching in a heap on the ground. The Ethaefal smirked and pressed her foot to it’s throat, crushing it. “Judge, if you please.”

What comes in the night (Judge)

Postby Judge on October 18th, 2010, 5:51 pm

OOC: Didn't mean to take so long, i've been ill the past few days x.x no fun

How quickly she disarmed him! Not a full day ago he was a lone predator, accustomed to solitude; certainly independent by Kelvic standards. If Callisto's like-minded boldness last night earned both respect and adoration from Judge, unearthing all the mushy warm emotions he thought long buried, Her other-worldly manifestation awe-struck him, boding a new worthy life of servitude to something beyond mere mortal ambitions. He could feel that this time, he would not regret the decision to serve.

At first he wasn't sure how Callisto would receive him, it put his senses on edge, bestial instinct teetering for a split-second before she kissed his forehead and set his racing heart at ease. For all of Judge's psychological complexities, it took little effort to please him. Callisto's attentive, simple but meaningful gestures made the kelvic ecstatic. His tail wagged at quicker intervals, and Judge happily panted through those moments preluding to their present confrontation with the Yukmen.

Callisto's performance, her deadly precision and clean effectiveness for dispatching the creature delighted Judge. She was as deadly as she was graceful and beautiful. Judge heeded her commands, silently agreeing with her estimations regarding the yukmen and their morning duty to dispatch them. They were dreadful to look at for one, and the incessant screeching was all the motivation he needed to brutally deal with this out-numbering lot of monsters. After all, was he not a monster too? Callisto didn't think so, but she hadn't watched him at play yet. Oh how he loved to play….

She released him from his position beside her, and like a game of fetch, Judge bounded on powerful legs to close the distance between himself and the nearest yukman shambling through the foliage, only to screech at an even higher pitch as his jaws latched around most of the thing's torso and nearly crush it in two. Several more flanked Judge on either side, for as simple-minded they were, yukmen were always deadlier in number. Like people morphed horribly wrong, perhaps a mix of ground and man, these abominations circled Judge at increasing numbers, more than Judge had anticipated. Two on either side of him latched onto his flesh, their razor teeth biting down and summoning a great roar from Judge as he winced, anger flooding over his mind as if to dilute the pain.

The great wolf leapt into the air, away from the ambushing group of yukman and landed nearby Callisto, where he managed to fling one of the yukman away with a quick flick of his back paw, flinging the creature through the air and tumbling several feet away, the thing disgruntled and wobbling to stand even as Judge bore down upon the nuisance and used his powerful claws to tear its form asunder. Judge tried to reach the other yukman but to no avail, the elusive yukman held fast and was just outside of Judge's reach.
Judge winced at the pain of its bite and, determined to finish the pest off, rushed towards a tree and slammed his side against the bark, the force of the blow nothing compared to the satisfaction of feeling the intruder squish and crumble, those teeth finally out of him.

Judge turned back to Callisto, seeing where he could assist, reveling in the long overdue thrill of combat, focused in the moment, but also secretly dreading another one of those things puncturing his flesh.
