Who IS he? Athaera asked silently as the man who had rushed in stared at the Kelvic and her. He smiled, and he looked quite creepy, actually. Athaera attempted to begin speaking with the Kelvic again, but he was still staring back at the man by the counter, who waved. Athaera narrowed her eyes. What was wrong with him?
Finally, the guy she was trying to have a conversation with fell out of his trance, finally dedicating his attention to Athaera. It was one of her pet peeves, it bothered her when she was having a conversation, and the person she was talking to wasn't paying attention to her.
The Kelvic seemed a bit on edge, at which Athaera wasn't the least bit surprised, but he finally began talking again. Athaera wanted to make some sort of motion of agreement, but thought better of it. That would be rude, though it would be payback toward the kelvic, who still hadn't told her his name.
Once again, stopping in the middle of his sentence, the kelvic began to stare at the strange man, who seemed to be a bit closer. Athaera took a sip of her tea, mouthing to him. Do you need something?
He wasn't quite looking at them, but Athaera could tell that the stranger was watching them, and inching his way towards them. What's his problem? Evidently, he didn't follow the "Curiosity killed the cat" rule.
A woman walked into the little coffee shop, with blonde hair and green eyes. She walked up to the counter, and Athaera thought she was quite pretty. Athaera saw as she looked at her, and she made a smaller smile, not the creepy, sloppy grin the other man had done, and it faded after a moment. Looking away, Athaera took a sip of her tea.
