Shadiss had almost smirked at the words that had fallen from his lips, her crimson gaze watching him for the moment before she looked away. Indeed, while that was true, she didn’t need to be told such a thing. In fact, she knew ever since she had been a hatchling that humans could be dangerous, but that didn’t stop her from enjoying it whenever she had the chance. Which, she could admit was not very often. She was mostly dwelling within her room, working on her potions or just simply getting into fights just to feel pain. She would even chase sexual pursuits, avoiding her own race in the process. She paused in her path, her gaze settled upon the male as she briefly wondered what thought processes was going through his mind. ”You don’t have to tell me that… Sisas.” Indeed, she was more than aware of the consequences that could ensue, which is why she ate more strays than humans.

A simple chuckle settled upon her lips as she then turned to fully face the male, ”Maybe one day, I should witness how you bring one to their knees, it would certainly be interesting to watch.” The Dhani woman would very much enjoy the show, however she would probably find it increasing hard to not join in on the torture. To draw it out and as the blood spilled onto the blade, she would be able to taste and savour it as the male tortured the victim. Hell, she might even be able to learn how better to torture someone instead of just a few well-placed wounds inflicted by a dagger.

OOCDon't worry about it; I've been traveling and recovering from traveling. I know how RL likes to intrude.

Sisas grinned at the female. "I would enjoy showing you," he said. "Few can fully appreciate the art of bringing pain." It had been a while since Sisas himself had been able to spend as long as he wanted to break someone-- not since he'd left Ravok. Hopefully, a job would open up soon that would give him that chance. He missed hearing the screams, the pungent scent of fear permeating the air, and the taste of the blood spilled by his blade and fangs. He also needed a subject to experiment upon with his poisons.

Maybe Shadiss would even join in-- Viper Dhani, after all, were known for their enjoyment of pain. Sisas couldn't help the small smirk that quirked his lips at the thought-- with two Dhani working, they might even be able to bring anyone to their knees. It was a heady thought.

A simple smirk fell upon her lips as her crimson gaze flickered away from the male, oh she would be more than happy to be shown the art of torture for it would be another skill that she could add to her tool belt, especially in the ways of pain. ”Tell me something Sisas, what is it about torture that you like so much? How long ago did you get into torture and why?” She paused at another stall, her gaze focusing upon some bandages, knowing her and her want to get into fights, there may be occasions where she would need to patch herself up. Ah such was the life of Shadiss, she thought to herself as she bought 6 yards of the bandages, only to place it into her backpack. Indeed these would be needed whenever she decided to head out to join in on the brawling. No one really fought fair in Sunberth so she would probably take her dagger if she ever did. Besides, she enjoyed her potions, people never really saw their death coming till it fell into their beverage or they consumed it un-willingly.

”I tell you what Sisas, perhaps one day I might let you in on a couple of my secrets, if I can ever trust you enough.” Indeed, this Dhani rarely ever trusted anyone, especially those that were her own kind. However, she would help a fellow Dhani out should they need it, that didn’t mean that she would continue to nice to her own kind. In fact being nice was not really in her best interest, it didn’t get her what she wanted, but she found that threatening to poison someone did get results, fast results. In a city where there were no laws, to poison someone wouldn’t really be a crime. Someone might think that the morals of the poisoner was questionable but then again, she wasn’t here to gain the approval of the citizens, she was here to practice what she knew best.

Sisas thought over Shadiss's question as the female Dhani made her purchase. "I like the control, and the challenge," he said finally. "I have not been in the business long, but the desire has always been there. To know that I control what happens to another being... It is a heady feeling. Yet on the other side of the coin, there is the challenge of breaking those... more stubborn than most. Then, it is greatly satisfying, reading their body for clues and piecing those clues together to unlock the outcome I desire."

Sisas absently scratched between Rikit's ears as they walked, and he felt one side of his mouth quirk into a small smile at Shadiss's words. Trust was something hard-won among the Dhani, particularly those who had left their nests. It was completely understandable, but still, Sisas could not help but feel honored that the female thought that he may be worthy of being allowed the chance to earn her trust. "I look forward to earning your trust," he said, inclining his head respectfully.

Shadiss had listened to the male's words for a moment in silence and she angled her head silently in thought. The mere thought of control, sent shivers down her spine and she wondered what it would be like to lose control at the hands of another, an experience that would sure be interesting. She would probably learn things about herself that even she did not realize. She did have to admit, she had heard about torture being an interesting tool for extracting information, however she hadn’t seen it for herself, nor had she had the chance to torture another. When it came to pain, she would just simply get into a fight with another, just to feel pain and to inflict pain. She did wonder what it would be like to be on both sides of the torture table. Her crimson gaze flickered over towards Sisas, taking a moment to observe his movements once more before she glanced in the direction that they were walking in. He may be a man interesting enough to keep an eye on, perhaps even get to know, for he had captured her curiousity, mostly through the topic of torture.

A simple smile curved her lips then as she paused in her tracks, her gaze drifting skywards for a moment. While the conversation had not been a total bore, she did have somewhere to be. Ah… such is life, she thought to herself as she turned to face the male full on. Perhaps, spending time away from the Dhani may give her the upper hand, after all, sometimes, when you spend time away from people, they tended to show their true colours. When someone was new to a city or person, she had found that they tended to put on a façade of sorts, however, once you let them settle down, their true colours would start to show. ”Well, while this conversation has been… Enlightening, I must be off. Things to do ya see.” She turned away from the male and started to head off, before she would then pause in her steps, turning to view him for a tick. ”Should you ever wish to find me, I come here occasionally and sometimes I do take walks out to the northern wilds, perhaps we shall soon meet again.” Giving him a nod of her head, she turned away from him and walked away, because for now, she was finished with the conversation.
